Everyone knew that Peter Parker has superpowers. Or well, almost everyone. You see Peter himself never noticed.
I can see you thinking. How can Peter not notice that he got super strength, speed, reflexes, durability, sences and healing. He can even walk on walls.
There is a simple explaination for that. You see Peter is a university student. And like all students that are going for three degrees at the same time, Peter is stressed and sleepdeprived.
Peter is so out of it that he never noticed his superpowers.
May finds it funny. Even though she almost had a heart attack the first time Peter picked up the couch with one hand to look for a pen.
MJ saw a lot of potential when she saw her boyfriend walk on the ceiling. Unfortunately she never could test those ideas, because Peter never noticed he could walk upside down. The only thing he noticed where the books he was holding.
All Peters classmates have learned to hold their books to keep them from flying away. Peter speeds out of classes so fast that he leaves a little tornado.
The neighbours kids have made it a game to play catch with a distracted Peter. He will catch every ball you throw at him and toss it back. And he's doing all that while reading up for his next classes.
Peter even saved quite a few people in his neighbourhood. He catched a girl that fell out of a tree when he was reading in the park. He destroyed a gun that was pointed at him when he stopped by Starbuck to get some coffee. He stopped a car from crashing into an old lady on his way to class.
All in all Peter has no clue that he is a superhero. I wonder what he will do when he finds out.
