It is a time of uneasy peace! Following the destruction of the second Death Star and the death of Emperor Palpatine the galaxy was thrown into chaos. Imperial commanders turned their legions onto each other as many systems vied for independence, while the Rebellion focused on unifying the galaxy under their newly formed New Republic senate on Chandrila. After nearly a decade of gruelling warfare, the New Republic and the Remnants of the Galactic Empire agreed to a ceasefire with the signing of the Galactic Concordance and integration under the Pellaeon-Mothma Treatise. Despite these efforts several imperialist remnants refused these ratifications choosing exile or continuing to rule their own minuscule empires in the edges of the known galaxy.
In the thirty years that have followed this tenuous and fragile peace, the New Republic while succeeding in bringing prosperity and freedom to their myriad and sundry citizens has been embroiled in political division, dividing their leaders and governments. In this time of political division the Imperial Exiles have returned to the larger galaxy from the dangerous and treacherous Unknown Regions, militarily and economically powerful, uniting the fledgling Imperial remnants with startlingly quick precision and efficient force. Promising and delivering order and stability through brutal control, ending freedom and free will everywhere their flag flies.
Vowing to free all systems from tyranny, former senator and princess, Leia Organa Solo, has renounced the pacifist regime governing the Republic and has decided to reform the Old Rebellion into the Resistance, fighting against First Order expansion in the Outer Rim in spite of the Concordance and the fragile peace that has been maintained for three decades. Even going so far as to ally herself with the next remnant on the First Order’s list, the Hevring Dominion. Meanwhile her twin brother, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, founder and grandmaster of a new Jedi Order has left the known galaxy to find the hidden lair of the First Order’s Supreme Leader deep in the uncharted Unknown Regions after a few students betrayal five years past.
In this environment of betrayal and war, Dominion spies have informed Leia of communications between First Order agents detailing their prime suspect: a hermit and old friend of Luke’s, one Lor San Tekka of Jakku leading a sacrum of Sacellum of the Force pilgrims, who may have information leading to Skywalker’s location. In light of this information, Leia has sent her most daring pilot to Jakku to retrieve the information before her enemies, which in their hands will open a path of domination and alter the fate of the galaxy…
