Jimin doesn't remember when he started planting flowers like this, dandelions to be exact. He just remembers there is a promise he needs to keep.

"School is almost over, what's your plan?" Jimin asked.
"Well, I need to go for routined checkups obviously" said a boy with a dry laugh.
"Well other than that?"
"I'd like to go to a.... flower field?" Said the boy with a slight question.
"Why would you?" Jimin furrowed his eyebrows.
"It's just... I want to see flowers. They kind of remind me of something in this life"
"Wow... We're not 5 anymore you know?" Jimin said back with a slight amusement.
"You know, Jimin hyung, flowers are like a life goes on. They have different kinds, and grow in different situations, but they need to adapt, also.... They don't know when and how they'll die. Is it from the dryness? Or being plucked? Or stepped on by humans? They don't know Jimin hyung, yet they keep growing don't they? It's really good to have some motivation without wording it though."
Jimin just hummed and ruffled the said boy's hair adoringly, "You sure have a deep imagination little Jeon" he smiled.

Whenever his friends asked why he keeps planting dandelions, Jimin doesn't actually have an answer, so he just said what's coming into his head first, "I'm keeping my promise to someone," and smiling shiningly, then the others were just smiled back thinking how it is adorably cute of him instead of wondering the questionable answer jimin gave them.

"Come on! Get him faster!"
"Oh my- oh my-!! I- I think we couldn't-"
"Shut up! Just go get him faster! Push faster!!"
Everyone was a sobbing mess. The disease just attacked him all over again. His family currently were waiting in a tense situation.
Jimin's mom decided to call Jimin and told him about what happened, didn't know this brings a shock to Jimin while he was driving.
Jimin came to the hospital, but in a worse state since he had accident when his mom called him. Shocked, he stopped his car in a halt when there was a truck speeding up before him. He hit his head pretty bad and the doctor said he might lose some memories. Now both families are sobbing mess when that another boy's family heard what the doctor said, "I'm sorry, we couldn't make it" while bowing down to the boy's family.
The said boy's mom brokedown and crying louder

"Jimin-ah, aren't you going to stop? It's almost a full three years already, you need to do something other than planting flowers!" His bestfriend complained.
"Dandelions, Tae, it's dandelions." Jimin huffed.
"Well, whatever. Seriously Jimin you need a life! I keep seeing you planting them since we met first!" Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"I'm just keeping my promise, Tae"
"Seriously though. Do you even know him? Last time I asked you don't even remember a name," Taehyung rolled his eyes smugly.
"I-.."

"Jiminie, Jungkookie couldn't make it through the surgery" Jimin's mom told him sadly when he just woke up.
Doesn't know what's going on he asked, "Who's Jungkook?"
His mom belatedly checking on his son, shocked, asked back "Do you forget him?"
"Forget who?"
"You know, Jungkook?"
Jimin looked so confused his mom called the doctor immediately. The doctor said Jimin lost his some of his memories, he didn't know which part, but that must be a part about Jungkook. Jimin's mom decided to hide the fact to let Jimin goes on life without mourning over Jungkook.

"Hyung"
Jimin hummed in response.
"Do you believe in reincarnation?"
"What is it again Jungkookie? Jimin smiled amusedly.
"I don't know, I was just thinking last night. I was reading about reincarnation. Do you know and somewhat have something to prefer if you were being reincarnated?"
"Well, actually I never have given so much thought about reincarnation, how about you?"
"Umnn.... I want to be flowers?
"Wow seriously?" Jimin was laughing so much thinking his dongsaeng is so dramatic.
"Ugh.. Hyung stop it," Jungkook pouted. Jimin was then feel guilty and apologizing.
"Do you want to be roses?" Jimin asked teasingly to ease the anger off of Jungkook.
"No... Dandelions?"
Still smiling amusedly Jimin said, "Why?" just because his dongsaeng seems so serious now.
"Don't you think dandelions hold so much meaning, hyung.....?"
'Maybe~' Jimin thought but didn't voice it out loud knowing Jungkook still had something to say.
"It yells out innocence, hyung. Also it shows purity, the holy spirit that will take us to a nice place where no one, no thing could hurt us anymore. I want to feel healed, hyung, something that could take me away while keeping my mind on the ground. I want to be free. I'm really tired, hyung", Jungkook said with a blatant tiredness from his voice.
Jimin smiled sadly, he knows what Jungkook meant. He wanted to help, but he didn't even understand how to help Jungkook. His mom said Jungkook's a severe case, there's still nothing that could heal him.
"Then I want to be the wind, so I' will be all around you when you fly!" Jimin said back giggling in happiness.
Jungkook giggling back happily, like a kid, Jimin wonders until when he will see this happy Jungkook around him, near him, on earth.
"Then it's decided! We can go together all over the world!" Jungkook almost yelled, his happiness cant be covered, smiling ear-to-ear.
"Haha we will, Jungkookie, we will" Jimin laughed softly.
"But hyung, we need to be dandelions first!"
"Then we need to plant them first, so when we're ready, they will be ready too!" Jimin encouraged him.
"But mom will never let me to go out anymore, hyung" Jungkook pouted sadly.
"Then I will plant them for you way~ way~ a looot~ of them. So you at least can choose from whatever dandelions I plant, you wanna be Jungkookie!!"
"Yeay!! Promise?" Jungkook replied back - almost shouting - happily while stretching his pinky.
"Promise!" Jimin tied their pinky fingers
"Ah~ I can't wait to be reborn again, hyung~ take care of me yeah?" Jungkook smiled at him, he just smiled and ruffled his baby boy's bangs out of his eyes.
"Of course Jungkookie, of course" I love you.

Jimin remembered the first time he decided to plant dandelions. He woke up, scared, thinking he should save a life and went out to buy dandelions seeds and started planting them. He didn't even know what happened, he just thought he needs to save a life by planting them, unconsciously. Then now he remembers,
