Kohane is the average college student, sinking into new romance dramas at least once a week, saving assignments for the last hour before midnight, and surviving purely off ramen and gas station food.
She’s lived alone in the on-campus dorms, usually only having guests every few weeks..except for one recurring individual.
“Kohane–!”
“H-Huh?” Kohane tried saying before practically being jumped by the other girl.
The other girl in question is Shiraishi An, her long time girlfriend, although Kohane wouldn’t be able to mark the exact length of their relationship, as any math she tries to do is automatically translated into finances…con of being a business major.
“Ughhh–! I missed you so much Kohane! I missed your pretty face, your pretty personality, your pretty aura, your pretty–”
“Ah! An-chan get off of me then we can talk!” Kohane whined, lying on the floor with the other girl’s arms wrapped around her.
“Oh yeah, right!” An laughed, wiping the dust off of her clothes as Kohane stood up.
“It hasn't been that long, An-chan.” Kohane replied.
“Three days is a long time for me, okay!?” An mentioned, crossing her arms.
Kohane loudly sighed, looking up at her girlfriend, smiling.
“I missed you too, An-chan.” She said, walking towards the blue haired girl, placing a soft kiss on her cheek, causing An to immediately place her hand on the spot.
“You’ve been doing this for years yet I still can’t help but blush when you do that!~” An giggled, smiling at Kohane.
“I think it’s cute every time you blush!” Kohane replied, tucking An’s hair behind her ears.
“Whaaatchu doinggg ‘Hane?” An questioned as Kohane finished pulling her hair back.
“Finding another good spot to kiss.” Kohane laughed.
An shrugged, leaning onto Kohane first, pursuing her lips.
Kohane was at first taken by surprise, but didn’t reject the wordless offer.
They both fluttered their eyes shut for that moment, An placed her hands on the back of Kohane’s neck, twirling the loose pieces of hair from Kohane’s half lifted hairstyle.
It had been quite some time since they had gotten a chance like this, there had always been someone else present or the visit was too brief to have such a moment, they made sure to take their time to indulge in it, it was a long awaited embrace.
They parted ways after a few more moments, still holding onto each other closely as they exhaled.
“You..seriously know how to give zero warnings before doing something like that.” Kohane laughed.
“It didn’t seem like you hated it though.” An teased, pinching Kohane’s cheeks as her face flushed red.
“There’ll never be a time where I despise your kiss…it’s just that a warning would’ve been nice.” Kohane grumbled, crossing her arms.
“Hey, you were about to do the exact same thing!”
“Technically I told you exactly what I was doing.”
“Yeah, and I beat you to it!” An teased.
“Okay yes, you win. Do you want a cookie?” Kohane joked.
“No, can I get a cuddle instead?”
“I’ll forward your exchange to the call center.” She replied, pulling away from An.
“Hey now.. don't pull a business major stunt on me.” An cried out, lunging at the girl again.
“A-An-chan-! Too tight of a hold!” Kohane shouted as she felt onto her bed, An soon following suit.
“Oh! Well in that case, can we cuddle now? We’re in a comfy spot to do so!” An asked, snuggling her head onto Kohane’s shoulders.
“Do I really have a choice?”
“Nope!” An giggled, wrapping her arms around Kohane, making herself comfortable on the bed they were both laying on.
“I figured..gosh.. I didn’t even realize how much I missed this.” Kohane spoke up.
“Well I’m all yours for tonight..we could definitely make this last longer than last visit.”
“It already is longer, you just gave me flowers then jumped from the top of the staircase to get back home before curfew.” Kohane mentioned.
“Skinned my knee real bad but at least I got to see you!~” An smiled.
“You weren’t lying when you said you’d do anything just to catch a glimpse of me.”
“It’s because I love you, Kohane.”
“I love you more..An-chan..to the moon and back.”
“Well..I love you to infinity and beyond!!”
“I love you to infinity and plus one.”
“Hey! Infinity goes on forever, you can’t just add plus one!” An protested.
“I just did.” Kohane replied, laughing.
“I feel like you’re really turning into a business major, always finding loopholes..” An grumbled.
“Those business major loopholes are what made you capable of entering and exiting campus without being stopped by security!”
“You’re right..it was very unfortunate when I couldn’t surprise you like this–!” An giggled, further digging herself into Kohane’s shoulders.
“A very lovely and unexpected surprise, definitely was worth skipping class today.”
“Oh shit, you had class?” An questioned, attempted to lean up before the other girl gently pushed her back down.
“Don’t worry about it, missing out on one class isn’t gonna be the end of the world, especially when you’re part of that world.” Kohane smiled, kissing An on the cheek.
“Ah! You did it again, Kohane!” An yelped, covering her face as it had begun to heat up.
“Glad to be of service!”
