Summary:
A pencil drawing and its digitally coloured version of Sanji finding and taking care of Zoro after his sacrifice on Thriller Bark. Inspired by the concept of "what if One Piece's slapstick violence was a bit more serious than that?"

Dear recip, I hope you enjoy the gift! In your letter you say that you enjoy whump, emotional hurt/comfort and exploration of canon moments. I wanted to combine these elements, so here's a "post-Thriller Bark sacrifice" Zoro who got a little more fucked up by Kuma's attack, and a Sanji who's the one in need a of a hug after finding Zoro practically dead.
I hope the depiction of blood doesn't fall under your gore DNW! I stuck to his canonical dripping-with-blood appearence from that ep, his actual wounds are not very graphic :)
