Summary:

A child and a flower falls into Gotham.

Chapter Text

In the ethereal gloom of the waterfall, deep within the Underground, Frisk stands silently, absorbed in the echo of a distant passed carried by the Echo flowers. These luminescent flora, scattered around, pulsate gently, whispering ancient secrets and long-lost wishes. The air is filled with the sound of trickling water. Here, an Echo flower is reciting a legend of monsters who once whispered their wishes to the stars, yearning for them to come true.

Flowey emerged from the shadows, his face twisting with curiosity and a hint of concern. “You’re the only one that’s left here,” he sighs, “Everyone is out there with the Happy Ending. So, why are you still here?” Frisk, gazing upwards at the stone ceiling, veiled in darkness and dotted with the faint glow of the underground’s faux stars, responds softly. “You didn’t get your Happy Ending.”

Flowey made a pained expression. “You can’t save them all, remember? There are a lot of others like me out there…Fr” Frisk, looking intently at Flowey, spoke with resolve, “You know how we talked about the legend? Travelers who climb Mt.Ebott are said to disappear.” Pausing for a moment, Frisk’s eye shimmered with a blend of nostalgia and determination, reflecting the weight of their next words. “I came to Mt. Ebott because I wanted to go on an adventure. You’re right, we did get a Happy Ending, not for you though, let’s go on a new adventure, let’s go disappear, with the two of us, find a Happy Ending for you.” Frisk’s statement hung in the air with Flowey having wide eyes from what Frisk asked.

Flowey, still wavering in his stance, frowns slightly, his voice tinged with reluctance “What if we don’t get the happy ending? What if I make a mistake again and it was a fool’s errand?”

“It wasn’t meaningless, Flowey. Trying gave it meaning, even if you feel like you failed. You said it yourself, you can’t regret hard choices in your life. All I’m asking is just one more adventure.” Frisk reached her hand towards Flowey. Flowey, after a brief hesitation, moves closer, his petals trembling slightly as if stirred by an unseen breeze of emotion. With a delicate motion, Flowey wrapped his petals around Frisk’s hand.

A smirk slowly spreads across Floey’s face, a glimmer of his self flickering in his eyes. “Sure, yeah, I could humor one small adventure,” he concedes, his tone playful yet cautious.

However, as soon as the words left his mouth, a subtle glow began to envelop both him and Frisk. Flowey’s response is a mix of horror and incredulity,
“What the fu- what is even, wait, WHAT? WHAT IS GOING ON!? FRISK!?”

The scene climaxes as Frisk, with a sheepish smile, replies “I might have made a deal with Gaster and gotten help from Sans? We’re going to a new dimension! Isn’t that exciting!”

“WHAT! YOU MADE A DEAL WITH THOSE CLOWNS?!” The glow intensifies, surrounding both Frisk and Flowey, Flowey begins to screech in a mix of panic and hilarity, “WAIT! THIS ISN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, I MEANT A CUTE SMALL ADVENTURE WHAT THE FU-” With that, Flowey and Frisk were now gone from the Underground, with a new uncertain adventure.
