“You’re really pretty, y’know that?”
Ranpo wasn't one to hand out compliments, so that's why this was such a shock to Yosano.
“Pretty?” she echoed. Yosano had been called pretty hundreds of times before, but being called pretty by ranpo brought a new feeling to her and made her cheeks flush red.
“Yeah! You’re pretty, plus some other things, but pretty was the first thing that came to mind!” Ranpo grinned, lazily resting his cheek in his palm.
“Huh… I- I don't know how to…” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and glanced away. “…How to respond to that…” Yosano admitted.
Ranpo just chuckled “you don't need to, your expression say it all.”
“Is that so?” well, what does it say?”
“You like me calling you pretty.”
Yosano smiled “Correct.” Ranpo’s grin widened “I’m always correct!” he boasted.
Indeed he was.
