W A L L Y ⚡
It was New Year's eve, and Wally had something special planned for the New Year.
He went to his and Artemis' apartment in Palo Alto.
"Babe! I'm home!" He yelled opening the door to their apartment.
"Where have you been today?" She asked, she wasn't mad, just curious to know where her boyfriend had been all day.
"Planning our date! Now it's 10:00, so I need you to go wear your favorite dress!"
"What are you up to?" She asked suspiciously.
"Nothing! Now go! We have leave at 10:15 so go go go!" He said pushing her into their bedroom.
"Jeez, pushy much?" She said rolling her eyes playfully.
"Sorry, babe. But this is really important."
"Okay!" She said closing the bedroom door.
She came out 5 minutes later in her favorite dress.
Her hair was down and she was wearing silver earrings that brought out her eyes.
"Wow, babe! You look gorgeous!" He said, making her blush bright red.
"Okay my turn!" Wally said running into the room, slamming the door behind him. He pulled out a velvet box, from his jacket pocket.
'Soon we'll be Mr. and Mrs. West!' He thought happily.
He quickly changed into his tuxedo and slipped the box into his pocket.
His phone buzzed, indicating that he had a text, when he was about to open the door.
Dick: Dude! Did you do it yet??
Wally: Not yet! But I will soon! Text u the deets later!
Dick: Okay man! Good luck! Fingers crossed that she'll say yes! 🤞🤞
Wally: Dude!! Not helping my nerves!!!!!
Dick: Sorry, good luck!
He open the door putting his phone into his pants pocket, walking out he saw Artemis sitting on the couch, petting their dog, Brucely.
"You look nice, Baywatch!" She said, getting up. She walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. She quickly pecked him lips, before pulling away.
"So, where are we going?"
"The place I told you, we would go when we don't have a world to save!"
"No way!"
"Yes way!" He said before picking her up bridal style. He quickly ran them to Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower.
It was crowded there, there were thousands of people, reporters, cameras, a stage and a gigantic screen showing the time.
Wally led Artemis up the Eiffel Tower, they walked up 6 flights of stairs.
"Wally! I can't walked anymore! Plus I'm starving! Can you carry me?" She whined, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, Babe. It's just right around the corner! C'mon." He said dragging her around the corner.
Artemis' hand went to cover her mouth, when she saw the beautiful scenery in front of her.
There was a dinner table in the middle of the room, there were candles on the railings dimly lighting up the place, there were rose petals thrown all over the floor.
"Babe, this beautiful! How did you manage to do all of this?"
"Well let's just say that, I have the greatest person in the world by my side." He said nonchalantly.
"You asked Dick for help?" She asked bluntly.
"Yeah," he said sheepish, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Anyway, M'lady." He said pulling her chair for her.
"Why, thank you kind sir." She giggled.
They ate and talked for about an hour and watched people perform below them until it was 11:55.
"Only 5 minutes until midnight, babe!" Wally said enthusiastically.
He gently took her towards the middle of the floor and ran off to a radio, turning it on.
Running back towards her, he began to dance with her as the music played. Swaying to the music Wally began to sing with the song, making Artemis relax and lay her head on his chest.

Lifting her head, Artemis looked at Wally happily.
"Thank you for bringing me here, Wally."
"You don't need to thank me for anything. I love you, Arty and that will never change."
"I love you too, Wally."
"Well, you're gonna love me even more!" he said happily before kneeling down on one knee.
