Dogma just stood there, shoulders slumped, head hanging. It broke Tup’s heart to see him like that.
“I thought I was doing the right thing. I'm such an idiot. He used me. And I–
“Dogma, stop it,” Tup demanded and pulled him into a tight hug. “You said it yourself: He used you. He was a traitor. He got what he deserved.”
“How will anyone ever trust me again?” Dogma mumbled into Tup’s shoulder, almost muffling the rest. “I can't even trust myself.”
“I trust you!” Tup said, resting his forehead against Dogma's. “I always have and I always will.”
