Hello! Welcome to Escape-a-Date, the premier excuse-making app to get you from uncomfortable situations to home as fast (and safe!) as possible. The steps are easy:
1. Enter details of your upcoming event - a date, concert, movie, anything! You’ll be connected to one of our trusted representatives for the duration of your event.
2. Select your walkable Safe Spot. This is where you’ll go after your event, and when you do, your representative will know you’ll no longer need their services.
3. Choose from our list of Escape Hatches (family illness, pet emergency, apartment maintenance, job questions, etc.) and review the themed coded signals - Send Help, Get Me Out, Uncomfortable But Okay, and I’m Doing Great! Your representative will check in a few times throughout your event via text and phone to ensure you’re safe.
4. If you need to be guided to your designated Safe Spot by your representative, please stay on the line until they can confirm your GPS location has made it there.
