Summary:

The Tales of the Glorious Masquerade with a Twst. Tone. spice added to it!

Meryu, after Grim’s moaning and groaning withered away at Crowley’s resolve, can now travel to other cities with her friends for the First Ever Arcane School Trip. This trip will take her to a beautiful city where the prestigious Noble Bell College resides: Fleur City, aka the City of Flowers. And her group’s chance encounter with the well known Student Council President Rollo Flamme will change the outcome of the entire school trip.

(A fic paying tribute to the Glorious Masquerade. I was thinking of doing a lot of the events from TW within Twst Tone, but for now I will start small with my personal favorite event of the Game. Some things that happen here aren't tied to TT’s Canon!)

This chapter is just the basis of what to expect, and small tidbits of information regarding this GloMas celebration piece to make it easier for everyone to better understand it!

Chapter 1: Part Zero: Context Layout

Hey everyone! And welcome to one of my other AT x TW crossover ideas! Yay!

 

This one is a special surprise as this year for ENG servers, The Glorious Masquerade, one of my personal favorite events, is rerunning this year! I’m super excited to retread it on the ENG side of things as this time around, Malleus and the others(Plus Rollo) are all gonna come and bleed us dry of our gems! I just can’t wait to go broke all over again despite me needing to save up for Playful Land :’) 

But, before we begin seeing our dear little Reyvateil go about and party with the boys, I’m gonna lay down some things that are different here compared to Twst Tone! Doing so now will make it easier for everyone to understand the gist for how this tale works.

 

  1. This is not canon to the current Twst Tonelico AU. This, like many of the events in TW, are not associated with canon, but it will have tidbits of that story’s canon shown about here and there.
  2. Meryu is coded as a Beta type Infel Phira Dependant in the story, but luckily does need to worry about anything major regarding Overblots, but they are alluded to/hinted at happening already. Additionally, to spice things up only for this tale, she will have access to both [Extract] and [Method] based songs for this event. More on that later.
  3. This takes place post Book 06, thus some implications regarding her dependence on a Song Server for when she travels from place to place.
  4. Epel and Sebek are junior Guardians compared to Ace, Deuce, Grim and Jack. They have only recently started their training in the RTG, but still have access to utilizing things that the former group already mastered. Ortho is a special case that I plan to explore more later on in the main story.
  5. This fic plays a lot on the main events with some divergences like the OG Twst Tone. Hence, there will be some changes and actions that take palace differently that play more with the Boys’ abilities from working alongside Meryu.
  6. Dr. Marmalade and Gamma is still present, though only cameos in the early chapters.

 

I will expand on more once I continue to write this tale. This will be written alongside the main story, but I cannot promise it’ll be done by the time the rerun ends.
