Chapter Text
"You're up, Prince!" The crowd's chant echoed through the Glitz Pit, the grand fighting arena at the heart of Glitzville. The city, a marvel of Mushroom Kingdom engineering, floated majestically above the clouds, casting a shadow on the bustling streets below.
The arena lights gleamed off the polished steel of the cage, reflecting onto the eager faces of the spectators. Prince Mush, the reigning champion, took a deep breath, his skin glistening with sweat. His sister, Jolene, known as the Iron Toadette in the locker room due to her stern, no nonsense demeanor, looked at him before they went to the ring, her stern gaze fixed on him, giving him a warning.
"Remember, Prince," she warned, sternly, "Fight with honor! And no cakes in the locker room!"
Prince Mush nodded solemnly, remembering the embarrassing lesson learned from that day.
The infamous "Cake Incident". He had since developed an intense fear of the sweet treat, a peculiar weakness for a fighter of his caliber. But in this place, where strength and honor were king, even the mightiest had their vulnerabilities.
His opponent stepped into the arena, a towering creature with scales that reflected the neon lights. The beast was known as Bahamutt, hailing from the distant Dragon Kingdom.
The crowd roared with excitement, eager to witness the clash of two titans.
Jolene, the promoter and announcer, took her place at the center of the arena, as her brother, Prince Mush, who had entered at the same time as Bahamutt, looked on at the mighty dragon he was about to face.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the main event of the evening! The unstoppable force, Prince Mush, versus the unquenchable fire, Bahamutt! Lets get ready to... BRAAAAAWL!" Jolene announced!
Prince Mush took his place in the center of the ring, his muscles rippling with power. He had worked tirelessly to master the unique fighting stances that allowed him to dodge both airborne and ground attacks.
His speed was legendary, leaving trails of after-images in his wake. The air grew electric as the fight was about to begin.
But there was something else in the air, something sweet and tempting...
The smell of freshly baked cake wafted into the arena, and Prince Mush's heart skipped a beat. He whipped his head around, searching for the source of the aroma.
His eyes widened in horror as he saw a table with a beautifully decorated cake sitting at ringside, a cardboard sign attached that read, "To the victor, from a secret admirer."
His stomach churned at the memory of the Cake Incident. Was this a cruel joke or a clever ploy? Perhaps a heel put it there on purpose, just wanting Prince Mush to drop his guard? Could Bahamutt...no, it can't be, a dragon wouldn't lower himself to this. Or would he?
Jolene glared at the security, as if demanding who put the cake there. She had strict rules for food near the arena, SPECIALLY cakes, after the Cake Incident.
The bell rang, and Bahamutt took the opportunity to charge at him, breathing fire as he went.
Prince Mush, however, was rooted to the spot, his mind racing with fear.
"Cake...cake...cake...." Prince Mush whimpered, shaking. The crowd gasped, wondering if their Champion would get through this!
"And Bahamutt is about to land the first blow! Will we have another Cake Incident?! Fight on, Prince Mush! A Champion can't fall in one single move!" Jolene encouraged, since her duty as announcer was to cheer both sides on to ensure a good fight!
As Jolene's words filled the air, her stern voice echoed in Prince Mush's mind, her warning from before the fight. "Fight with honor, and no cakes in the locker room!"
He couldn't let a simple pastry ruin his reputation again.
With a deep breath, he focused his ki and dashed to the side, leaving a trail of after-images as he avoided the fiery onslaught. The crowd gasped as Bahamutt's flames barely missed their hero.
The dragon, momentarily confused, turned to face the repositioned Prince Mush. The Toad took advantage of the brief pause to spring into action, his fists glowing with the energy of a thousand suns.
He jumped high in the air with a powerful drop kick, before he launched a barrage of lightning-fast mid-air punches, each one aimed with the precision of a seasoned fighter.
The dragon blocked as many as he could, but the sheer speed and power of the prince's attacks began to wear him down. Bahamutt roared in frustration, his scales smoking from the impacts.
"It looks like our new challenger has underestimated our reigning champion!" Jolene announced, "Prince Mush is not easily distracted! How will you attack now, Mr Bahamutt? Show the crowd what they came here to see!"
The crowd all cheered, as they saw the mighty dragon roar at the Mightiest Toad In The World, Glitz Pit's reigning champion.
The prince gave a deep breath, before switching his stance mid-fight. His speed didn't falter, but his movements grew more deliberate, his punches aimed at the dragon's lower body. Bahamutt, anticipating another aerial assault, was caught off guard.
The dragon stumbled back, giving Prince Mush the opening he needed. He dashed forward, charging his fist with a fiery aura. The crowd's eyes went wide as they recognized the setup for Bahamutt's signature move: the "Inferno Punch!"
Prince Mush felt the cake's aroma fill his nose, and sweated. Bahamutt took the chance to land the Inferno Punch!
"INFERNO PUNCH!!! As blazing as it is dangerous! This could be the end for our prince!" Jolene said.
As the prince was sent into the air, he cursed himself for his phobia, but reminded himself to not let the crowd down again. To not let his sister Jolene down again. To not fall for a dirty trick and lose his honor to a mere sweet dessert...again!
The crowd gasped as Prince Mush hit the ceiling of the steel cage!
Jolene was worried, but did not let it show. She was an announcer, and had a duty to both Prince Mush AND Bahamutt to be impartial. There would be time to worry once the show was over!
"That was a devastating blow by Mr. Bahamutt!!!" Jolene shouted. "Anyone would be stunned by hitting the ceiling of the steel cage! Folks, I think that might be it! Could the Prince fall before Bahamutt's flaming punch?!"
Bahamutt looked up at Prince Mush with a smirk, spitting a small ember in the ground as he snorted in victory!
As he began falling, and heard Jolene, Prince Mush shook his head midair. ("No.") Prince Mush thought, ("This cant't be the end. It WON'T be the end!!!")
Channeling his Ki, Prince Mush managed to correct his stance midair. With his own fist blazing with his Ki, the Strongest Toad In The World descended upon Bahamutt like a meteor!
The dragon, unable to react in time, was hit squarely in the jaw, sending him reeling backward. The cake on the ringside table trembled precariously as the impact shook the arena.
"A TREMENDOUS comeback by Prince Mush!! Whoever put that cake there underestimated Prince Mush's willpower! How will you counter that, Mr Bahamutt?! I'm sure the crowd is waiting to see!" Jolene gasped!
Said crowd roared louded than the big Dragon/Yoshi hybrid!
But Prince Mush didn't stop there. He knew he had to end the fight before his fear of cakes could be used against him again. He unleashed his finishing move, the "Toadstorm Combo!"
A blur of ki and fire, he struck Bahamutt with punches, kicks, and dropkicks, each blow a symphony of power and grace. The dragon was no match for the prince's unbridled fury and determination.
"THE TOADSTORM COMBO!!!! THE TOADSTORM COMBO!!!!! Prince Mush's signature technique!!!" Jolene yelled! "No one can stand up to THAT!!!"
With a final, powerful punch, Bahamutt's huge body was sent right through the steel cage and flying out of the ring, crashing through the ropes and landing in a heap on the floor!
"Once again, our reigning champion showed why he wears the crown! Mr. Bahamutt tried, but in the end, here at the Glitz Pit there can only be one winner, and it's his royal highness, PRRRIIIIIIIINNNCEEEEEE MUUUUUUUUSSSSHHHHH!!!" Jolene announced!
The crowd erupted into a deafening cheer as Prince Mush was declared the winner once more.
He took a moment to catch his breath, then turned to face Jolene. Her expression was a mix of pride and concern. She knew his weaknesses, and she knew the cake was still out there, a silent threat to his psyche.
But tonight, Prince Mush had proven that no matter the distraction, he would fight with honor and protect his title. He raised his fists in victory, his eyes never leaving the cake.
He knew that if he ever let his guard down again, that sweet, treacherous dessert could be his downfall. And he'd be darned if he ever gave anyone the satisfaction of seeing him brought low by something as simple as a cake.
"That's it for today's event! Tune in next week for another fantastic match, where The Golden Grandstander Rawk Hawk will show us his fists are as strong as his boasting, as he told us he'd defeat The Razor Blade Brigadier, Koopinator, The Red Ore Fear Orbs, Chomp Country, and the The Big Bad Brute Bros. , Hamma, Bamma, and Flare, all at once! That's right, folks, Rawk Hawk promised the crowd that he'll take on a Dark Koopatrol, two Red Chomps, a Hammer Bro. , a Boomerang Bro. , and a Fire Bro. ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! This is Jolene, wishing you all a good night from the Glitz Pit!" Jolene announced.
As Prince Mush left the arena, the Koopinator approached him. "Truly, you are the champion. You surpassed your weakness to cakes."
"Yeah...I still wonder how that cake got there." Prince Mush said.
He winced as they heard angry yells and pathetic whines from Jolene's office.
"The security seems to be facing the wrath of the Iron Toadette." Koopinator said. "I doubt we'll see any cakes in the arena on the near future."
"I think we'll see new security on the near future! I know this slip almost cost me the match, but MAN is sis mad. Poor guys, I wouldn't want be on their shoes right now!" Prince Mush noted, with a nervous laugh!
Days turned into weeks, and the smell of the cake haunted Prince Mush, even outside the arena. It seemed to be everywhere: in the marketplace, wafting from the windows of passing bakeries, even in his dreams.
Yet, he never wavered in his training, pushing himself harder than ever before.
Jolene watched her brother's obsession with a mix of admiration and worry. It was clear that the cake had become more than just a fear—it had become a symbol of his vulnerability, something he was desperate to conquer.
One fateful afternoon, as the sun began to set over Glitzville, casting the city in a warm golden hue, Prince Mush and Jolene stumbled upon a human child wandering the streets. His short brown hair was disheveled, his clothes torn, and his eyes, filled with a sadness that seemed too heavy for a soul so young.
He looked lost, a stark contrast to the vibrant energy of Glitzville.
"What's your name, kid?" Jolene asked, her hand on her hip.
The boy looked up, his eyes swimming with unshed tears. "Rodrigo," he murmured, clutching a tattered teddy bear.
"Rodrigo, huh? Where are your parents?" Prince Much asked.
"I....I dunno...." Rodrigo said.
Prince Mush and Jolene frowned in worry at that.
"Poor boy...you got lost? Don't worry, we'll find your parents..." Jolene said.
Rodrigo shook his head. "N...no...I literally dunno. I don't remember anythin' but my name..." the boy said.
This shocked Prince Mush and Jolene to their core. A child, wandering alone in Glitzville, with no home, no family, no memories...
Prince Mush and Jolene exchanged a knowing glance. Despite their own struggles, they couldn't ignore the desperate need for protection in his gaze.
"Hey, kiddo. Do you wanna go home with us?" Prince Mush said.
"G...go home? Y...you're serious?" Rodrigo asked.
"Yes, we are. I have contacts in the Mushroom Kingdom, I can set a meeting with Princess Peach and arrange for the adoption paperwork." Jolene smiled, adjusting her glasses. "Prince Mush and I can be your brother and sister. We'll take care of you until you are big and strong, okay?"
The little boy teared up, and sobbed as he tackled the promoter and champion into a hug, which they returned kindly!
The adoption process was swift. All they needed to officially adopt Rodrigo was the approval of Princess Peach Toadstool, who, knowing Jolene and Prince Mush's reputation, was more than happy to allow the poor amnesic boy to have a new home, full of love.
And so, they took him in, offering him a home filled with love, warmth, and the occasional fire-breathing dragon story.
Rodrigo quickly became infatuated with the Glitz Pit, especially the legendary exploits of his new brother, Prince Mush.
He watched every match with wide-eyed wonder, his heart swelling with pride as he cheered him on.
The prince, in turn, found a new purpose in his fighting—to be a hero not just for the Mushroom Kingdom, not just for the Glitz Pit, his fans, or even other Toads, but also for the lost boy who had found refuge in their world.
The siblings soon realized that their bond with Rodrigo was more than just a charitable act; he was a sibling in spirit, if not in biology.
His unyielding optimism and unshakable belief in the power of family brought a light to their lives that had been dimmed by the shadow of the cake.
With Rodrigo by their side, they faced their battles with renewed vigor, both in and out of the arena.
And as for the cake... well, it was still there, a silent sentinel of their past. But now, it served as a reminder that fears could be overcome, that strength came from within, and that family was the most powerful force of all.
Prince Mush took Rodrigo under his wing, teaching him the ways of the Glitz Pit.
The boy soaked up every piece of knowledge like a sponge, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he learned about the mystical property of Ki and Prince Mush's fighting style.
Jolene, ever the disciplinarian, ensured that Rodrigo's education wasn't all fun and games.
She taught him the importance of strategy and the value of hard work. Together, they were an unstoppable trio, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.
As weeks turned into months, Rodrigo grew more confident in his new life. He began to show an interest in the sport that had made Prince Mush a legend.
With Jolene's guidance, he started to train, his little legs pumping as he shadow-boxed in the corner of the gym.
His enthusiasm was infectious, and soon enough, even Prince Mush found himself looking forward to the post-match cuddles and the tales of the Glitz Pit that he would regale Rodrigo with, as Jolene watched their interactions with a smile.
"Maybe when ya grow up a bit, lil bro, you'll get on the Glitz Pit yourself." Prince Mush always said, laughing cheerfully as Rodrigo's eyes always shone like stars as the little boy said, "I promise I'll do my best, big bro!"
One evening, as they sat around the dinner table, the smell of a freshly baked cake wafted through the air. Rodrigo's eyes lit up, and he looked to his new brother and sister with excitement. "Can we have some?" he asked innocently.
Prince Mush shook a bit, nervously, but took a deep breath, then said, "Yeah, lil bro, you and sis can have some, but I'll pass, if you don't mind."
"Big bro? What's wrong?" Rodrigo asked, confused. "Ya don't like cakes?"
Jolene sighed. "Well, Rodrigo, it's...complicated." she said, adjusting her glasses.
Soon, the family got home, and sat down. Rodrigo was even more surprised as Prince Mush told them he was gonna hit the gym while they ate their cake.
"Big sis...why does big bro dislike cake? It's tasty!" Rodrigo asked, confused.
"Well, Rodrigo, it's due to "The Cake Incident". It happened a few years ago at the Glitz Pit." Jolene clarified.
"The Cake Incident?" Rodrigo asked, curious!
Jolene nodded solemnly. "It was a dark day for our family and the Glitz Pit. A reminder that not all battles are won with fists and skill..." she began, her eyes drifting to the framed newspaper article on the wall, the headline reading "CAKE CONSPIRACY SHAKES THE GLITZ PIT!"
Flashback
A grinning Rawk Hawk, the number one contender, with a smug look on his face, went to Prince Mush's room before their match, knocking on the champion's door.
"Oh, come in! I'm just finishin' a few last streches!" Prince Mush said, and smiled as his opponent entered.
Prince Mush and Rawk Hawk were always friendly to each other. Prince Mush respected Rawk Hawk's brute strenght and aerial skills.
For his part, Rawk Hawk knew the champion was good. TOO good, maybe...which means Rawk Hawk might need a small push to win...
"Yo, Mush! Ya ready for our big match this evening?" Rawk Hawk asked.
"Ya betcha, Rawk Hawk! I've been training hard for it." Prince Mush grinned. "Sorry, but you ain't gonna take my title tonight!"
"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure. I got a few new tricks to Rawk ya today!" Rawk Hawk laughed.
As Prince Mush and Rawk Hawk laughed, talking about their oncoming match, Rawk Hawk noted, "So, Prince, before our match, I got a gift for ya."
"A gift?" Blinked Prince Mush.
"Yep! I know the Iron Toadette doesn't like you indulging a lot on these, but, just between you and me, I hear ya LOVE these!" Rawk Hawk noted, presenting a seemingly innocent cake to Prince Mush.
The cake was a beautifully crafted chocolate masterpiece, with the Glitz Pit's logo in shimmering white frosting. Little did Prince Mush know, the cake was laced with a potent laxative.
"Hey, you watch what ya say about my sis!" Prince Mush laughed, playfully punching Rawk Hawk's arm. "She's stern, but she cares for me."
But then, he smiled as he took the cake. "Well now, chocolate, my favorite flavor! Now THAT'S good sportmanship right there, man."
"That's not all! It has a very SPECIAL ingredient." Rawk Hawk said, smirking. "The guy in the bakery has told me it's a cake fit for a champ!"
"Hmmm...the smell IS fit for a champ, at least!" Prince Mush noted, his mouth watering.
"Well, I gotta do some last minute trainin' for our match. Enjoy your cake, Mush, my man! Bon Appetit!" Rawk Hawk said, preparing to leave.
"Thanks a lot, don't mind if I do!" he said, as he began munching down the beautiful cake.
"Yeah, Mush..." Rawk Hawk whispered, smirking as he watched him eat the cake, "I REALLY don't mind if you do..."
However, after a few bites, Prince Mush's eyes widened as he held his tummy. "Ugh...t-thanks for the cake, but...I'll see ya at the match, I...I'm a bit...excuse me!" he said, running out of his room.
"Hahaha! Take the time ya need, Mush!" laughed Rawk Hawk, as Prince Mush ran away!
Unfortunately, the laxative was potent. Prince Mush spent hours in the bathroom. By the time he COULD leave, well...it was time for the match, and Prince Mush was in no condition to fight someone as strong as Rawk Hawk..
"Ladies and gentlemen from all species! Tonight we have a very special match for the main event! Our very own reigning champion, Prince Mush is here to defend his title against one of the Glitz Pit's most famous fighters, and his name is RAWKKKKKKK HAWKKKKKKKKKK!!!!" Jolene yelled.
"Oh yeahhhhh!!!" Rawk Hawk said, gliding down in the arena. "Everyone, get ready! Rawk Hawk is here, and he's here for that belt!"
The crowd was a mix of boos from Mush fans and cheers from fans of the Hawk!
Jolene approached Rawk Hawk with the mike. "So, Mr. Rawk Hawk, the fans want to know, how are you feeling about a fight with the undefeated champion of the Glitz Pit?"
"Well, Miss Jolene, lemme tell ya. Mush has had a good run so far. Goin' undefeated on the Glitz Pit? That's nothing to sneeze at! But, unfortunately for him, his streak ends here. I came here for the Champion's Belt, and I intend to get it!" Rawk Hawk said.
"A bold claim, Mr. Rawk Hawk, but many people have tried to take down our very own Prince Mush on this very arena and failed! Can you tell our audience what makes you so confident you'll be the first one to break the streak?" Jolene asked, ever the professional in promos with title match challengers, asking the questions the audience wants to hear!
"It's all a matter of using your head. The wimps who failed to take down Mush before got scared by his streak, and his flashy speed based techniques and that "ki" he tends to ramble about. These losers were beaten before the match started! Now me, I trained for this and I know in my head this victory is mine! That's the difference that'll alow me to, lemme hear it, folks!!" Rawk Hawk smirked.
"RAAAAAAAAAWWWWKKKK HIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMM!!!!" his fans remarked!
"Thank you for your time, Mr Rawk Hawk. As you can see here, folks, our challenger is quite confident on his victory! But will this be enough to take on our undefeated champion? You'll be the judge of that!" Jolene smiled as she ended the interview.
Then she adjusted her glasses, and smiled, "And now, everyone, give it up for our reigning, undefeated champion, the wall no fighter has ever climbed, the Mightiest Toad In The World, PRIIIIIIIIIINNNCCCEEEEEE MUUUUUUUSSSSSSSHHHHHH!!!!" Jolene yelled.
Prince Mush's theme song roared, the lights went to the door he was supposed to appear from...but nobody appeared!
Jolene blinked. "I said PRIIIIIINCE MUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!" she yelled.
No one came, worrying Jolene and the crowd even more!
"Darn it, lil bro, where are you...?" Jolene cursed under her breath, before motioning to the security to get their champion for the main event!
"HAH! What have I told ya? When Mush KNOWS he'll fight a fighter of MY caliber, he hides away like a coward! "Prince" Mush? PLEASE!" Rawk Hawk said, arms crossed!
The crowd was a mix of laughs and boos from Rawk Hawk's side, and worried whispers from Prince Mush's side!
___
At this time, Prince Mush was FINALLY able to leave his bathroom. "Oooh, man...that cake was tasty, but was a knock-out in the worst sense of the word! Whoever told Rawk Hawk it was fit for a champion was lying to his face!" he whimpered, holding his stomach.
At this time, his door opened with a snap!
"PRINCE MUSH! Here you are! Miss Jolene is calling you!" a worried security said.
"S-sis? P-please, tell her I'm not feeling too-" Prince Mush began.
"N-no time for that, sir! It's time for your match! Everyone is waiting for the champion to show up!" the security said.
"THE MATCH?! AGAINST RAWK HAWK?!! O-oh man, I completely forgot...!" Prince Mush gasped!
___
A few minutes had passed in the arena, with Rawk Hawk still boasting, and Jolene finally sighing as she looked at her clock!
"Well, I don't know what to say, folks. That's simply NOT the way Prince Mush usually behaves!" Jolene announced.
"Well, he usually doesn't have to fight THE RAWK!!!! Don't be too harsh on him, Miss Jolene, it's only natural to be scared to face ME!" Rawk Hawk smirked.
"I...suppose...well, folks, that's...that's it, then. We can't wait anymore, but Mr Rawk Hawk can't be penalized by the champion's actions. Unfortunately, for the first time in the Glitz Pit's history, I'll have to hand over a belt by def-"
"WAAAAAAAAIT!!! Sis, I'm here!!!!" Prince Mush's voice echoed, panting and sweating as he opened the door!
Rawk Hawk was surprised, but smirked as he looked at his face. (Well, you shouldn't have bothered, Mush. Now, instead of green, you're gonna be BLACK AND BLUE!) he thought!
Jolene gave a soft sigh, but then her eyes narrowed. "That's Miss Jolene during fights, Prince Mush. Remember the hierarchy!" she firmly said, then added, "Care to explain to the crowd where you have been and why should I allow the fight to even begin?! I was SECONDS from giving the victory by default!!"
The crowd and locker room well knew Jolene's strictness, and this public display only showed how she is completely impartial despite family ties!
"Come on, sis...Miss Jolene, I'll explain...I'll explain later. I...had a small problem in the way..." panted Prince Mush.
"A small problem...?" Jolene asked, raising an eyebrow.
"B...besides, the crowd wants a match..." groaned Prince Mush.
"PRINCE MUSH! RAWK HAWK! PRINCE MUSH! RAWK HAWK!!!!" they chered!
Jolene sighed. "Well, Mr Rawk Hawk, as I said earlier, I can't punish you for your opponent's late arrival. Are you okay with the fight proceeding?" she asked.
"No probs here, Miss Jolene!" smirked Rawk Hawk. "The HAWK will take any challenger any place, any time! Sides, it's WAY more satisfying to.....!!!!"
"RAWK HIM!!!!!!" Rawk Hawk's fans replied!
Jolene firmly nodded. "Very well. The audience has replied, and your opponent has decided to allow the match to proceed, so I'll allow it. But, you better have a GREAT explanation for this after the match, understood?" Jolene demanded, giving Prince Mush a look his butt knew and feared!
"Y...yeah, Miss Jolene..." Prince Mush softly replied, with a smal gulp!
"*AHEM!*" Jolene coughed. "Sorry for the wait, folks, but both opponents are here, and whatever happened outside of the ring, can stay outside the ring. Our fighters are here to talk with their fists, not their mouths! Prince Mush vs Rawk Hawk, let's get ready to....BRAWWWWWWLLLLLLL!!!!!!"
The audience roared in excitement at the announcement!
"Come on, Mush, show me what ya got! Rush at me, I'm gonna block your attack!" Rawk Hawk smirked.
"Kay, Rawk Hawk. If ya think ya can take it...." Prince Mush said.
He tried to run, but there was no blazing speed, no after images, as Rawk Hawk easily caught the "not-so-dashing punch" before tossing Prince Mush into the ground!
"Owww! An incredible first move by Rawk Hawk! But....what happened to Prince Mush's speed?!" Jolene wondered!
"C'mon, Mush, you're better than that!" Rawk Hawk said, as he took flight.
"Y-yeah, I am. All I need to do is charge my ki and..." Prince Mush said, but his feet barely left the ground!
"HAHAHAHA!!! How pathetic! You call THAT a jump?!!!" laughed Rawk Hawk!
"Folks, are you seeing what I'm seeing?! Prince Mush's speed, his greatest asset, seems to have abandoned him! These punches are sluggish, and his jumps are barely getting him off the ground!" Jolene said! "First the lateness, now THIS? Champion, what is going on with you today?!!"
The crowd's cheers turned to gasps as they watched their hero struggle!
Meanwhile, Rawk Hawk took advantage of the situation....
"Hahaha, it seems you came here just to play, huh, Mush?! Well, sucks to be ya, then, cause the Hawk does NOT play around!" Rawk Hawk said, as he gave a diving tackle!
"Aaaaahhh!" gasped Prince Mush, yelping as he was sent rolling on the ground!
"And there we go, folks! Rawk Hawk's famous diving tackle! Usually, Prince Mush would have dodged that, but somehow, he took it head-on! Is Rawk Hawk really the best fighter on the Glitz Pit?!" Jolene gasped, staying impartial despite the pain in her feelings as she sees her little brother being trounced!
___
As Jolene tells Rodrigo the story, the little boy was shocked at what he was hering!
"Oh no..." Rodrigo gasped, understanding now why Prince Mush feared cakes.
Jolene nodded. "It was a tough lesson learned. But it also showed us the true meaning of fighting with honor. Remember this always, Rodrigo: winning is not everything. It's how you win that counts," she said, her voice firm, as she continued telling him the story.
____
Prince Mush was doubled over in pain, trying to dodge Rawk Hawk's attacks, his face contorted in agony.
"Give up, Mush! Ya ain't a match and ya know it!" Rawk Hawk said, as he slide kicked.
"Prince Mush couldn't dodge a single blow today!" Jolene narrated! "I never saw the champ be THIS beaten up! Looks like Rawk Hawk REALLY is RAWKING Prince Mush!"
Prince Mush slowly got up, only to be kicked back to the ground!
The crowd then gasped, as Rawk Hawk grabbed Prince Mush by the collar!
"Say it, chump. Say it loud and clear to everyone!" Rawk Hawk said, smirking fiercely.
The look of betrayal on Prince Mush's face was palpable as he realized the depth of the hawk's deceit at this point. But there was nothing he could do. The cake, it wasn't an accident, Prince Mush realized. It was intentional, and it destroyed him. Prince Mush...was defeated before this match even started, and now he knew it...
"I...I...give...up..." Prince Mush said, as his world blacked out....
Once Prince Mush opened his eyes, he wasn't on the Glitz Pit anymore. He was in his bed, back on his and Jolene's home, with a worried Jolene sitting next to his bed.
"Mush, you finally woke up. I was worried." Jolene said.
"Sis...? What...what happened...?" groaned Mush, sitting on his bed. "Oww, oww..."
"Easy, bro. You got quite a beating there. As for what happened, well..." Jolene sighed, turning on the TV.
Prince Mush's heart sank as he saw Rawk Hawk on TV, strutting around with the new champion's belt around his waist.
"Yeah, I hope Mush gets better, but if I regret the beating I gave him, ya ask? Not at all. Title matches are war! As a champion, Mush should be prepared for this butt kickin' coming his way some day. It's like I said on the pre match interview, his long streak was awesome, but someone had to break it, and it was the HAWK!!!"
"Mr Rawk Hawk, we noticed the crowd's opinion was rather mixed with this match. Prince Mush wasn't as fast or strong as his usual self. It looked less of a fight and more like a one sided beat down. What is your opinion on this matter?" a Toad reporter asked.
"Heck if I know. Considering how long the guy took to even get his butt inside the arena, though? My money is that Mush was too scared to fight straight. I mean, everyone saw how I forced the guy to surrender after I RAWKED him!" Rawk Hawk said!
Jolene then turned off the TV. "...Sad but true, bro. Rawk Hawk is the Glitz Pit's new champion...though, I don't buy for a second that you were scared of him."
Mush sobbed tearfully. "That stupid cake...and I was even MORE stupid, for eating it in the first place!"
"A cake...?" Jolene asked, intrigued, as she raised an eyebrow. "Care to elaborate, Mush?"
"Yeah...I dunno what Rawk Hawk put on that cake he gave me as a gift before the match, sis, but it messed me up real bad! I...I don't think I'm gonna EVER look at a cake the same way again..." Mush groaned. "I spent like HOURS in the bathroom. By the time I recovered enough to leave it, the security reminded me of the match. Barely dragged myself to the ring..."
Jolene rubbed her chin, thoughtfully. That would explain a lot of the gaps. Prince Mush late to a match, his unusual sluggishness, the lack of being able to jump, dodge, or fight back properly, being grabbed by the collar and forced to give up in front of the entire Glitz Pit...
"This is a serious accusation, Mush." Jolene said. "I'll run an investigation, and if I find out Rawk Hawk poisoned you, he WILL pay."
Then, adjusting her glasses, Jolene gave a strict glare, her glasses shining. Prince Mush knew what THAT look meant for his bum...
"But...you DO realise that you shouldn't have been so careless, bro? You got lucky all you got were a few bruises and hours in the bathroom." Jolene said, strict. "You shouldn't eat something before matches that you don't know the origin of. SPECIALLY if given by your opponent."
"...Sorry, sis." sighed Prince Mush. "You're right...I just used to like cakes so much."
"Well, what is done, is done. Save the "sorry" for after you recover enough for our "talk", little brother." Jolene firmly said...but as Prince Mush groaned, he then smiled as his older sister kissed his forehead and added, with a kind smile of her own, "Rest now, and let big sis handle the rest."
__
"But the story doesn't end there," Jolene said, her eyes snapping back to the present, "It's a story of redemption, of proving oneself. After the Cake Incident, your brother became more determined than ever to regain his title, to show that no trickery could keep him down. And with hard work and a clear conscience, he did just that!"
"Oh! How did he do it, big sis?!" Rodrigo asked, excited as he wanted to know the rest of the story!
"Well...."
___
After Jolene finished her investigation (luckly some of the cake's crumbs survived Prince Mush's mouth!) she called Rawk Hawk to her office.
"....Laxatives, Mr. Rawk Hawk? Really?" Jolene asked, raising an eyebrown. "That has to be the most dishonorable thing I've seen in a while..."
"I didn't do anything, Jolene!" Rawk Hawk growled.
"MISS Jolene, if you will. Do remember the hierarchy." Jolene warned.
This made a shiver spread through Rawk Hawk's feathers, for despite Jolene not being a fighter, she had an way of making one get quite scared when she gets strict, indeed...
"O-of course, Miss Jolene, maam." he nervously said.
"That's much better. Now then, about not doing anything...please, do not insult my inteligence, Mr Rawk Hawk. I had the cake's crumbs sent for a lab exam. You were also caught on camera giving Prince Mush said cake in the same day YOU had a fight for the belt you so proudly wear now. One where our reigning champion wasn't quite himself. Care to elaborate on WHY that is the case?"
Rawk Hawk began sweating bullets as Jolene's glasses had a scary shine. Looks like he was caught in the act....
"At any rate, I am sure you understand I cannot allow you to keep this belt-" Jolene began, but was surprised as Prince Mush suddenly entered the office!
"Sis, wait! Don't take the belt away from Rawk Hawk..." Prince Mush said.
"Prince Mush!" Jolene gasped, trying to keep a professional tone to her brother...but failing as she sighed, "Brother, you should be in bed right now."
"A-and, what's the catch?!" Rawk Hawk demanded. "Why you don't want her to take my belt?!!"
"Cause I wanna win it fair and square, Rawk Hawk! Sis, the doc say in two weeks I'll be recovered fully. Since I lost my belt to Rawk Hawk, technically I am #1 Contender, right?!" Prince Mush asked Jolene.
Well...that WAS the case. Prince Mush was the champion. By losing the belt, and being demoted one rank, he was technically still the #1 Contender, specially due to his long reign as Champion, legendary career, and the respect all fighters in the locker room...well, except for Rawk Hawk, apparently...have for him. A chance to win the belt fairly to restore his honor, would be a good experience for her little brother.
Plus, Jolene privately thought to herself..a good beating from Prince Mush at his prime might help Rawk Hawk keep his ego in check. The Star Spirits know he DOES need a lesson every now and then!
(....Fear the wrath of the Iron Toadette, Mr. Rawk Hawk.)
Jolene smirked. ".....Hmph. That is something the fans will want to see. Very well, Mr Rawk Hawk, Prince Mush, in two weeks, I'll allow a rematch with the title on the line. No cheating, no tricks. Only your skills, am I perfectly clear?"
"Crystal, Miss Jolene!" Rawk Hawk grinned, perhaps too confidently, as he turned to leave the office.
Jolene was quiet until Rawk Hawk opened the door. Once he did, she said, "Oh, and Mr. Rawk Hawk?"
Rawk Hawk froze in place, sweatdropping. "Y-yeah, Miss Jolene?"
"Do remember to save 5000 coins as a fine for this messy situation, yes?" Jolene calmly noted!
"5000 COINS?! Come on, Jo-ehh, Miss Jolene!" Rawk Hawk winced!
"Yes, you're right. 10.000 coins would be a much more proper compensation." Jolene added.
"10.000?!!!? Aww, come ON! The cake and the laxatives weren't THAT expensive!" Rawk Hawk protested, his jaw hitting the floor!
"I see. Just to clarify, you are telling me you'd much rather pay 20.000 coins, yes?" Jolene asked!
Rawk Hawk FINALLY realized he was on a "open mouth, insert foot" situation, digging a deeper hole every time he talked back to Jolene!
"Nonononono! 10.000 is fine! You can discount it of my next payment, Miss Jolene!" Rawk Hawk pleaded, trying to make things better!
"Excellent! Glad we came to an understanding, Mr. Hawk Rawk. Move along, now, if you will. I have a lot of work to do to settle the rematch. Chop-chop!" Jolene said, with a small smile!
"Yes, Miss Jolene! Right now, Miss Jolene!!" Rawk Hawk said, running out of the office.
Prince Mush laughed loudly as Jolene put Rawk Hawk on his place! The "Iron Toadette" is fearful, for real!
"...And what are you still doing here, my dear prince? Last I remember, I told you to go back to bed and recover. Of course, if you wish to rest here, your time-out chair is on the usual spot." Jolene said, that scary shine on her glasses!
Prince Mush sweatdropped, and nervously laughed! "Come to think of it, I think my bed is a better place to rest! Bye, sis!" he said, going back home!
"...Hmph. I thought you would come to this conclusion, my mischievous little brother." mused Jolene, with a smile, before returning to her work!
In the following weeks, Glitzville was ablaze with anticipation. The rematch was all anyone talked about.
The Cake Incident had become a cautionary tale, a stark reminder that even the most innocent of gestures could hide dark intentions. Yet, amidst the whispers and the gossip, there was an underlying current of hope.
Prince Mush had never been one to back down from a challenge, and the thought of him reclaiming his title fueled the excitement.
As the day of the match approached, Prince Mush trained harder than ever before. The memory of his humiliation fueled his every punch and kick. Sweat poured down his face as he pushed his body to its limits, driven by the fiery determination to regain what was rightfully his.
Rawk Hawk wasn't behind, though. He knew Jolene would keep a close eye on him, so he trained his hardest. This time, it wouldn't be just an glorified punching bag of an opponent. This time, Prince Mush would be at his best, the opponent who, despite never admiting it out loud, Rawk Hawk was unsure he could beat last time, hence the cake!
But now, it was skill alone, so he had no choice. He had to go all out if he wanted to be champion for more than 3 WEEKS!!
The arena was packed to the brim on the night of the big rematch. The lights shone down on the gleaming ring, the air thick with the scent of popcorn and anticipation. As the fighters made their way to the ring, the crowd roared, their cheers echoing through the cavernous space.
"Hello, Glitz Pit fans! Tonight is the rematch you've all been waiting for! Making a full recovery, we have our challenger! Back in action and better than ever...making his royal return to the ring...give it up for PRRRIIIIIINCCCEEEE MUUUUUSSSSSHHHH!!!" Jolene said.
Prince Mush emerged first, his muscles rippling beneath his suit. The crowd went wild, their chants of "Mush! Mush! Mush!" reverberating through the stadium.
"So, Prince Mush, a few words before this rematch?" Jolene asked.
"Well, Miss Jolene," Prince Mush said, "I'm sure everyone is disappointed at my performance on the last fight, but now that the cake thing came to light....I gotta say, you are all right for being disappointed, and I apologize."
The audience all mumbled but seemed happy at his maturity!
Jolene was proud herself, but didn't show, keeping her professional attitude. "We are? But, weren't you a victim?" she asked.
"I was a victim of my own carelessness. Yeah, normally we drop our guards when we're around people we consider as friends, but Rawk Hawk was my opponent for a title match! I should know better than to accept food from him. But now I'm fully healed, and I trained harder than ever to recover the belt that was injustly taken for me! Rawk Hawk tarnished it, yeah, and I intend to purify this belt's honor!" Prince Mush said.
The crowd roared in applauses!
"Well, good luck with your quest, Prince Mush! I hope you gave it your all in training, because now, here comes the current champion, with big fists and a even bigger mouth, he flips, flaps, and slaps, The Feral Nuclear Reactor, The Golden Grandstander, let's hear it for RAAAAAAAAAWWWWK HAWWWWWWWKKKK!!!!" Jolene said.
Rawk Hawk followed, his smug grin plastered across his face, the championship belt slung over his shoulder. He strutted to the ring, confident in his ability to retain his ill-gotten title. Even so, the crowd booed at him, and even his own fanbase was torn, with many of them turning to Mush's side after the underhanded trick!
"So, Mr. Rawk Hawk, you heard what your challenger said! Do you have anything to say before the match, champion?" Jolene asked.
"Well, Prince Mush, I'm glad ya made a full recover!" Rawk Hawk began.
Prince Mush's eyes narrowed and the crowd booed louder!
"No, no, really, hear me out! I REALLY gave that cake, but I never wanted to sabotage Mush here!" Rawk Hawk said.
"Oh? But we have evidence saying otherwise. Do you have a defense we had no idea, champion?" Jolene asked.
"Of course, Miss Jolene, and a pretty simple one! Everyone knows Mush and I are friend, and I REALLY wanted to give a gift. But the baker REALLY told me there was an ingredient that would make the cake extra tasty. I had no idea of knowing it were laxatives!" Rawk Hawk justified himself.
The crowd didn't see to buy it, neither did Prince Mush, as the video with Rawk Hawk laughing after Prince Mush went to the bathroom went viral!
"I...see." Jolene said, not buying it herself. "Anyway, the end result was this rematch. Are you confident in your abilities, Mr Rawk Hawk? I hear Prince Mush trained extra hard just for this!"
"Hah! He wasn't the only one! I actually WANTED this rematch. Here and now, I'll show that I can beat Prince Mush, cake or no cake!" he declared to the audience! "As the champion, I'm gonna...."
The "RAAAAAAWK HIIIIIM" was much lower in tone from the crowd, making Rawk Hawk sweatdrop!
"Thanks for the explanation, Mr. Rawk Hawk. Now, remember, both of you: Fair and square! LET'S GET READY TO....BRAAAAAWWWWWLLLLLL!" Jolene ordered, as the audience exploded in cheers!
The bell rang, and the two fighters squared off. The crowd held its collective breath as the battle commenced!
Prince Mush's speed was unmatched, his reflexes sharp as ever. Rawk Hawk threw everything he had at the Toad, but each attack was met with a perfectly timed dodge or block.
"Gah! Stay still, pipesqueak!" Rawk Hawk grunted, as Prince Mush jumped over his slide kick.
"Not as easy when your opponent didn't eat any cake, huh, Rawk Hawk?!" Prince Mush scolded, sending the champion rolling in the ground via a dash punch!
"OUCH! That stung, folks! Both the blow, and the words!" Jolene said, "That was a direct hit to Mr. Rawk Hawk's stomach...and his ego!"
"GAH! IT'S NOT OVER YET!!" Rawk Hawk yelled to Jolene as the crowd laughed, only to get a drop kick from Prince Mush!
"Rawk Hawk, your opponent is ME!" Prince Mush remarked!
"Gah! You bet I know that!" Rawk Hawk said, jumping into the ceiling and shaking it!
Jolene gasped as she got out of the arena!
"It's Mr. Rawk Hawk's famous Prop Drop technique! But will it work on Prince Mush?!" Jolene asked!
Prince Mush dodged all props with his blazing speed. Rawk Hawk gasped as after images were formed with Prince Mush's speed!
"HEY! Cloning is not fair!" Rawk protested, as some of the after images were dispelled. "That's underhanded!"
"UNDERHANDED?! Like YOU'RE one to talk!" Prince Mush protested, pouting!
The fight was a masterclass in strategy and skill. Each blow traded was a testament to the fighters' prowess. Yet, the tension grew as the rounds ticked by. It was clear that this was no ordinary bout; it was a battle for honor and redemption.
"Both fighters are giving their best! Mr. Rawk Hawk's training seems to have given him an endurance edge, though. Prince Mush's powerful blows only seem to anger him!" Jolene noted.
"You see, Rawk Hawk? You ARE a good fighter, when you fight fair! You could have had a chance against me, maybe even win before all the extra training I did if you didn't resort to trickery!" Prince Mush scolded. "Now it's too late to say sorry!"
Prince Mush then charged his Ki, a blazing aura of determination surrounding his body!
"WOAH! Is this what came from Prince Mush's training?! What is this powerful aura?!!" Jolene gasped!
The audience all seemed impressed at that!
Rawk Hawk covered his eyes. "Gah! Mush, cut it out with the light show! Ya think I'll be intimidated so easily?!"
"This aura is no gimmick, Rawk Hawk! It's my Blazing Aura, and I developed it just for this fight! I know you can take a beating, so I learned how to charge my Ki to increase....MY STRENGHT!!!" Prince Mush growled, rushing Rawk Hawk!
"Oh, could it be?! Yes, it is, folks! Prince Mush's signature technique!" Jolene said!
"TOADSTORM COMBO!!!!!" the audience yelled!
The match reached its climax as Prince Mush unleashed his fiery combo, each hit a blur of speed and power.
Rawk Hawk stumbled back, his feathers ruffled. He knew he had to pull out all the stops if he wanted to keep his title.
"GAHHH! That was a lucky blow, punk!!" he declared.
"Well now! I wasn't expecting ya to endure a power charged Toadstorm Combo!" gasped Prince Mush!
Summoning all his strength, Rawk Hawk leaped into the air!
"This will FINISH you! The real champion is ME!!!" Rawk Hawk roared.
"THE SUPERMAN SLAM!!!! Rawk Hawk's signature technique!!!" Jolene yelled. "One good hit from it, and it's lights out!!"
But Prince Mush anticipated the move. With a swiftness that seemed to defy reality, he rolled under the hawk, popped up behind him, and delivered a crushing blow to the back of Rawk Hawk's neck. The hawk crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
The crowd erupted in a deafening roar!
"....Seven...eight...nine...TEN!!! That's a knock out! Mr. Rawk Hawk gave us quite a show, showing that fighting fair makes one stronger, but as the dust settles, we have only one victor standing! Our former and once again current champion, PRIIIIIIIINCEEEEEE MMMUUUUUUSSSSHHHH!!!!" Jolene announced!
Prince Mush had reclaimed his title, restoring honor to the Glitz Pit. He looked over at his sister, who had a proud smile on her face.
But as soon as the cheers died down, as soon as the night's show was over, Jolene called him over to her office.
The air was thick with a mix of pride and something else. "Brother, come here."
Prince Mush swallowed hard, knowing what was coming. "Yes, sis?"
"Good job out there," Jolene said, her voice stern. "But remember, this rematch wouldn't even BE needed should you not recklessly accept cake from your opponent. Well, should Mr. Rawk Hawk somehow have a secret technique I am unaware of? Sure. But from the match I watched today, I don't believe he'd have much of a chance."
"Huh? What about the whole "one good hit from this and it'll be lights out?" Prince Mush asked.
"Hype, lil bro, hype. We need to excite the crowd. A good announcer is impartial and let's the crowd know both fighters's good sides. And knowing your speed as I do, I knew Rawk Hawk would NEVER land said good hit." Jolene calmly reminded him!
She then went to the middle of her office, where she had placed a chair. "Bend over, young man," she instructed, as she sat down and patted her lap, "You know the rules. A spanking for breaking the rules, no matter if you won back your title."
With a sigh, Prince Mush did as he was told, his heart racing. "....Yes, sis..." he said.
The sting of her hand was sharp, but it was nothing compared to the pain of his pride. Each smack echoed through the room, a reminder of his carelessness.
"You know, brother," Jolene said calmly, "It's not just about the cake. It's about trusting the wrong people, and not thinking things through."
Prince Mush nodded, his cheeks redder than ever before. "I...I know, sis." he murmured.
Tears welled in his eyes as she continued, her hand coming down in swift, firm strokes. "You can't just eat anything given to you before a fight," she scolded, "Especially not from your opponent!"
He nodded, the sting in his bum growing with each smack. "I'm sorry, sis," he murmured.
The spanking continued, a steady rhythm that seemed to echo the beating of his heart. The pain was intense, but it was a reminder of the lesson he had learned. Trust no opponent before a match, not even when they offer something as simple as a cake. Not unless he is ABSOLUTELY sure of their honor.
Jolene's hand never faltered, each smack a symbol of her love and concern for her brother's well-being. "You need to be more careful," she said, her voice a mix of firmness and care. "The Glitz Pit is full of cunning opponents, and you can't let your guard down, especially when it comes to your health."
"I won't," he promised, his voice shaking slightly. "I'll be more careful."
The spanking was swift and thorough, each smack landing with precision on his sensitive flesh. He squirmed and kicked his legs, trying to find relief from the stinging pain, but Jolene's grip was firm. She didn't hold back, her hand moving methodically from cheek to cheek, ensuring that every inch of his bottom was covered.
As the spanking continued, Prince Mush couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. The pain was intense, but it was also a strange comfort, a sign that his sister cared enough to correct his behavior. And as much as he hated to admit it, he knew he deserved it.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the spanking stopped.
"Good boy," she said, "Now, time for your time-out. Stay here, and think about what you've learned."
He nodded, standing up and rubbing his sore bum. "Yes, sis," he said, trying to hide his embarrassment.
"And don't you dare put those trunks back on until your time is up," she warned, pointing at the chair in the corner of the room. "You'll sit there, bare bottomed, as a reminder of your mistake."
Prince Mush obeyed, taking his seat and trying to keep his dignity as his sibling watched over him. It was a humbling experience, but one that he knew would make him a better fighter in the end.
The time passed slowly, each second a reminder of his mistake. But as he sat there, his bottom a fiery testament to his sister's discipline, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of pride. He had faced his punishment with honor and had learned from his mistake. And now, he was ready to face whatever the Glitz Pit had in store for him next.
The room was silent except for the occasional sniffle from Prince Mush. Jolene sat at her desk, working on some paperwork, giving him the space he needed to process his emotions. When she deemed enough time had passed, she called him over.
As the minutes ticked by, his cheeks burned with more than just the heat of his spanking. It was the fire of determination that had been lit within him, a promise to never let his guard down again.
Jolene watched him, her expression a mix of love and firmness. "Remember, Mush, fighting with honor is what truly makes a champion. That's the lesson Mr. Rawk Hawk learned the hard way."
Prince Mush nodded, his eyes never leaving the floor. He knew she was right. The Glitz Pit was more than just a place to show off strength; it was a stage for warriors to prove their worth, their integrity, and their respect for the sport.
"But," Jolene continued, "Being careful also makes a champion. You lost your belt because you recklessly ate a cake without considering it's origins. One given by your opponent, no less. If Mr Rawk Hawk was more evil, you could have gone through worse than a while on the bathroom." she also reminded him.
The lesson was harsh, but it was one that he would never forget. And as the last of his time-out ended, he stood up, his resolve stronger than ever.
"I won't disappoint you again, sis," he said, turning to face her.
"I know you won't," Jolene said, giving him a warm smile. "Now, go get some ice for that bum bum, and get ready for your next match. You've got a legacy to uphold."
And with that, Prince Mush left the office, ready to face whatever the Glitz Pit had in store for him, with a newfound respect for the rules and the people who enforced them.
It was a humbling experience, but one that served as a powerful deterrent against future carelessness.

"...And that's how your big bro came to fear cakes, but also how he climbed back from his worst point back to his best." Jolene finished.
"Woah, big bro is AMAZING!" Rodrigo smiled! "I'm gonna be like him some day!"
Jolene giggled, before she picked up a slice of cake, holding it out to Rodrigo. " Oh, I'm quite sure you will, Rodrigo. Now, let's enjoy this cake, shall we? It's from a trustworthy bakery, I assure you," she said with a wink.
Rodrigo took the slice, his eyes widening as he ate. "That's SO tasty, big sis! So yummy! But...I'll be careful with cakes in the future, too...just in case." Rodrigo said.
Jolene smiled. "Well, I suppose it doesn't hurt to be careful, little brother. Now, as soon as you finish eating, we'll go do the groceries, then it's off to bed."
"Aww, big sis, it isn't that late..." Rodrigo whined.
"I know it isn't that late, Rodrigo, but remember, Prince Mush and I have a big day of work at the Glitz Pit." Jolene said, patting his back.
"Well...you're right." Rodrigo conceded.
But as Rodrigo and Jolene left for their groceries, they didn't notice the bandits approaching them...ready to try and kidnap Jolene!
How will Rodrigo and Jolene hold on by themselves, without Prince Mush...?
