Many believe true mates means that you can only be with one other for the rest of your days and no one else.
What if you lose that significant other?
What if you start to love another?
What if you want to be with more than just your mate?
What if the definition of true mates was to be with anyone you loved and who loved you forever and always?
What if mates…just meant family?

Keonhee: Golden fur wolf, white belly and an omega. Green eyes. Bigger wolf than all other omegas and raised to be an alpha. Soft boy, generous and kind to everyone he meets so it really wasn't a big surprise that he was an omega. Will fight and has an attitude big enough to match an alpha. Hwanwoong is his mate. Scent of vanilla lavender tea.
Geonhak: Grey and brown mixed fur, white nose. Red eyes. An alpha who may be shy but commands attention when he desires it. Does not rule with an iron fist, in fact he doesn't want to rule at all. He usually follows Dongju's decisions. Very protective of his injured mate. Scent of pine needles.
Seoho: A black and brown wolf, medium size wolf so rather small also for a wolf and golden eyes instead of the normal alpha red. Not as small as Hwanwoong. An alpha who lost his true mate to illness and would have gone insane if not for Geonhak and Dongju. Scent of burning wood at first. Grows to be just the smell of sandalwood once healed from his trauma.
Dongju: Just like his twin brother, Dongju is a beautiful white omega. The main difference between the 2 is their eye color. Dongju has green eyes while Dongmeyong has blue eyes. A sassy omega who is very temperamental. He is Geonhak's mate and they both took in Seoho when the alpha's own mate passed away. Doesn't like to hunt with the rest, worried he might injure himself more than just the leg of his that was almost bitten off by a bear years ago. But also feels guilty when he sees the others get hurt protecting him. Smells of fresh linen, the smell of coming home.
Hwanwoong: Small dark brown wolf. Red eyes like an alpha because this tiny ball of sass is an alpha despite being bullied by everyone all his life for being small. Favorite spot to sleep is anywhere cuddled with Keonhee and his favorite thing to do is hunt with his beautiful omega mate. Him and Keonhee are mates. Smells like berries, often mistaken for an omega.
