Serenity prevailed in the prince's bedroom, the tranquility of the morning seeping in every direction and effectively putting the waking knight at ease.
He started opening his eyes, slowly getting used to the brightness of the room. As he gained consciousness, he looked down to see his beloved prince sleeping peacefully in his arms.
His heart jumped and melted at the image displayed in front of him, his lover was as beautiful as ever and so unprotected...
He leaned in to give his lover a tender kiss on his head, and hugged him a bit tighter. A dark part of him whispered to corrupt the prince, to make use of all the trust his partner gave him and to dive into his desires, but he ignored it, cuddling innocently and just enjoying the few moments he got with his lover.
Messing with his boyfriend’s hair, caressing his head and face, hugging him and even kissing him in various places, Akito satisfied himself from all the moments he would've loved to touch and care for his prince. Closing his eyes, he continued brushing his lover with affection, tenderly and careful to not wake him up with the trail of little kisses he gave him, cupping his face and being affectionate in general.
Some more time passed and suddenly, Akito stopped caressing his boyfriend; a sudden unease spreading through his body as if they were being observed. He looked down at Touya, verifying that he was indeed still asleep and slowly started turning around towards the door.
Still feeling uneasy, he decided to leave his lover's side and walk slowly towards the door, not letting his guard down, taking every breath in between pauses, making his descent from the bed to the floor as silent as he physically could, not taking his eyes off the door, trying to calm his racing heart, paying attention to his surroundings.
Until he heard a noise.
A single yelp was heard before someone took off running.
Akito wasted no time and started running to catch up to them.
"STOP WHERE YOU ARE," he shouted, praying that he would intimidate the person he was running after but ultimately made no use as the person started running faster than before...
