"Caroline no listen to me listen to me, listen listen." Stefan is almost but not quite slurring his words, he's swaying sitting down. He goes back and forth making sure he's got her attention
Caroline sips from her whisky, careful not to smile too much or else lose the ability to drink. "Stefan I have been listening for the last ten minutes and you haven't even said anything yet."
Stefan rolls his eyes. "We both know right. We know that Klaus likes you."
Caroline's smile strains but she nods.
"Klaus likes you and," he throws his head back on the chair and sighs heavily. "You have to fuck him." Caroline did not see where this was headed but before she can ask anything Stefan continues. "He just, he does this thing with his tongue, and"
"Wow wow wow, hold the phone,"
Stefan mutters into his drink "I hate that expression"
"How do you know about something he does with his tongue?"
Stefan, though is still muttering, "Hold the phone as though I'm not already holding the phone to be on the phone."
Caroline snaps her fingers in front of Stefan, “Hello can we get back to you saying I should fuck Klaus because you have intimate knowledge of his skill with his tongue?”
Stefan shrugs, “It was the 20s everything was illegal so we were always, well I was always trashed. He was there, Rebekah was being a tease, you know how it goes.”
“No I do not know how it goes”
Stefan just shrugs at her
Caroline realizes something. “Oh my god. You pulled an Elena”
Stefan scrunches up his face. “I did not ‘pull an Elena’.”
“Oh? So you didn’t fuck both siblings? Or well no, Elena pulled a Stefan if we’re thinking about this chronologically.”
Stefan groans into his hands and Caroline laughs.
