"Professor Gihun! Come!" yelled a little girl across the class. He smiled and walked towards the girl, who was smiling at him.
"Yes, Jun-hee?" he asked. The girl took his hand and talked.
"Professor Gihun, are you married?" asked the girl. Gihun frowned. She was six, she shouldn't know about that. However, he answered.
"No I'm not, sweety. Why the question?"
"My dad is divorced" she said. He nodded, he already knew that. That kind of things were said in the meetings with the fathers. He had meetings with Jun-hee's mom.
"I know" he nodded.
"Do you think my dad is pretty?" she asked. The man frowned again. What kind of questions were those?
"Well, you're a beautiful little girl, so I guess he's too" he tickled her on the side, making the girl laugh.
"Today my dad comes to get me" she said "I'm gonna live with him for a while, I'm happy!"
"I'm glad Jun-hee! I bet you're gonna have a great time!" he already knew that too. That family was famous and rich. It turns out the mom had to do some bussiness out of the country for some time, so instead of taking Jun-hee too she left him with her father to work faster.
"When he comes I'm gonna introduce him to you" Gihun nodded, knowing the girl would probably forget to do that in half an hour. He ruffled her hair and got up again, already hearing his name from different little mouths.
"Professor Gihun! My father is here!" yelled Jun-hee across the yard "Come to see him!"
Gihun smiled and walked towards her, making sure every kid was safe so he could distract for a moment.
"Dae-ho don't climb in the slide!" he scolded, seeing how the little boy tried to climb where he was suppossed to slide.
He looked up to meet his pupil's father.
He was the most handsome guy he's ever seen.
He played it cool, smiling at him like he did to every father.
"Hey" he greeted. The other nodded.
"Dad, this is professor Gihun, he isn't married and wants to date you" said casually the girl. Both of the adults turned to her with big eyes.
"What?!" they both said in unision. Jun-hee's father looked at him with a confused frown and Gihun waved his hands in the air.
"I don't know where she got that from! I didn't even know you!" he tried to say, but it came out in a really nervous way. His face must be all red because he was burning.
"No need to feel embarrast professor Gihun, my dad wants too" she smiled. Gihun turned now to look at him. He could see how his perfect features turned red.
"What's gotten into you, Jun-hee?!" he asked his kid, who just laughed "Come on, let's go" he crouched and took her in his arms "Sorry for this, professor. She's very imaginative"
"Don't worry about it Mr. Hwang. She's a kid" he laughed as he waved his hand, trying to be less nervous.
"Call me In-ho" he said and turned around "See you tomorrow, Gihun"
"See you!" he waved at the girl, who was waving at him in his dad's arms.
He turned and bited his lip. What a weird moment he just lived.
