Phone call

Summary:

He should have ended the call. That was none of his business. It wasn’t his personal space.

But Jes couldn’t. He stood there motionless, a statue, pressing the phone to his ear.

He didn’t know what to make of it. It being both what’s going on and his reaction.

Chapter 1: The phone call

Chapter Text

“Attention!
There are some changes in the schedule for tomorrow.
Please write back to confirm you’ve seen them.”

“Gotcha, more time for golf 🤪”

Jes’ message was marked as read by all managers but not Bible. He didn’t even let Jes know he saw it.

Weird. He should be home by now.

They chatted about two hours ago and Bible wrote he was going home. Jes’ messages were marked unread.

"Did you see the update?"

"Are you home?"

Long silence wasn’t any trouble before. Jes knew Bible could be way into his books or games. However, he was very responsible when it came to work. He tried his best to respond to anything work-related as soon as he could. He always had his work chat notifications on.

And now an hour passed with no response from Bible after the update.

It was a bit weird for Jes. No scary thoughts for now but something to worry about for sure.

Bible didn’t like phone calls, he preferred chatting. Even though Jes thought that calling is way easier, he respected Bible’s personal boundaries.

But now with each passing minute Jes felt his chest tighten. Eventually he decided to call Bible. Even if he declined he would still find out why Jes called from the messages.

Dial tones never bothered Jes but tonight they seemed endless. Bible didn’t pick up the phone for too long. He didn’t decline either.

Soon Jes’ call went to voicemail.

Maybe he’s showering? That’s probably why he won’t pick up. I should call him again in ten minutes.

However, even those ten minutes were boiling Jes alive.

Should I go to his place?.. No, that’s stupid. One missing call and an hour offline is no excuse for emergency visits.

Why even worry about it? It’s not the first time he went MIA.

Yeah, but not during work…

Jes opened the work chat and scrolled. All messages from Bible came no more than five minutes after some work announcement was up. He was always quick to respond.

Jes tried calling again but there was nothing but dial tones.

This time he felt something new adding up to his worry.

Anger.

Suddenly the dial tones were gone and Jes heard some kind of noise, followed by Bible’s voice in the background. It seemed distant as if it wasn’t him who answered the phone.

“Give it to me! Please!”

There was another voice which sounded a bit lower.

“Come on, decline. You’ll talk later. Don’t you have your own time or what!?”

Okay, he’s in one piece, there’s even someone nearby. Maybe that’s why he didn’t respond.

Jes was about to say something ridiculous but he was cut off.

“I can’t reach it… Please, stop!”

“Nah, I’ll decline it for you. It’ll teach him to stop calling.”

There was this muffled noise again on the phone as if it was scattered on a soft surface, followed by a thud.

“Jeff!”

“I’m sorry, baby. If it broke I’ll buy you a new one but at least he won’t bother us anymore.”

Oh, Jeff was with him… Bible rarely met him. Now it seemed obvious why Bible could forget about his phone. Jes went offline too sometimes when he was with his friends.

Jes was about to end the call when he heard a sudden loud moan.

Is everything okay?

Jes didn’t realize what the sound was so he decided that he was imagining things but his musings were interrupted by another moan and weird unintelligible whispering.

Jes had an idea and if he was right, it would be best to end that call but he wasn’t sure. He was afraid that he got the wrong impression.

In a couple of seconds his guess started to make sense, though. The whimper on the phone was definitely Bible’s. Jes knew this meowing kind of sound quite well but now it was longer and more high-pitched.

He should have ended the call. That was none of his business. It wasn’t his personal space.

But Jes couldn’t. He stood there motionless, a statue, pressing the phone to his ear.

He didn’t know what to make of it. It being both what’s going on and his reaction.

He heard some noises and a quiet creak, then Bible suddenly moaned louder.

“Baby, relax, you’re too worked up…“

“Mhm…“

The whimpering sounded very familiar but at the same time completely new to Jes. He didn’t know Bible’s voice could reach such pitches before.

I need to end this call… Put the fucking phone down, you idiot!!

But something didn’t let him do it. Jes just sat there on a sofa, listening to the bed squeaking, bed sheets rustling, and Bible moaning on the phone. He didn’t like the thoughts it made him think.

He saw such things before. He knew how Bible looked without clothes. He noticed how gracefully his body curved when he was training or performing.

“I wonder how you’d look on top of me.“

Jes didn’t get if it was on the phone or one of his thoughts. It made him dizzy.

“You’d look so nice on my dick… I’d make you bend so beautifully.“

The only response Jeff got was quiet whimpering.

“But now I want you like that. And fast.“

In a moment the noises and creaking got louder and there was a new sound now. It was skin-on-skin smacking.

Bible moaned loader and said something but it was completely unintelligible. Jes wasn’t even sure he recognized the language.

What Jes did next made him horrified. He knew the phones they were to promote had a screen-recorder. It was on an access panel by default.

He started recording with sound on.

The smacking sounds got louder as well as the moans. Jeff was moving faster now, and Jes was able to make out the words Bible whimpered.

“Jeff, please, slow down… Jeff! Jeff…“

“Honey, I could slow down but I missed you so much. I missed your gorgeous body. I promise next time I’ll be slower but now… Just relax, baby.“

Jeff wasn’t planning on stopping at all. Smacks only seemed to go faster and faster. The loud whimpering was all Jes could hear but at some point he realized that Bible started to cry, calling Jeff relentlessly.

Jes couldn’t know beforehand it would turn him on. He didn’t touch himself, fully concentrated on the sounds he heard, trying to stay as silent as possible.

He will burn in hell in his mind later but he just couldn’t stop now.

When the smacking got so aggressive Bible started to shout it made Jes shiver. He wanted to see it. He wished to know how exactly Bible looked now and how Jeff held him if he was able to fuck Bible so fast. He wanted to see Bible break and whimper. Crying, hair messed up…

“I’m so close, Jeff, please…“

“Baby, please, no hands, I know you’ll make it. You like it, don’t you?“

Jes was ready to be crucified for liking it but it was so captivating he couldn’t help it.

“Jeff!.. Jeff!“

“Cum, honey.“

Bible’s moan sounded slow, his voice breaking in the middle of it. He whimpered on, realizing that Jeff clearly wasn’t there yet.

Jeff’s voice was lower and louder when he came. He stopped suddenly, and for some time there was nothing but silence. Then Jes heard some rustling and creaking as well as Bible’s long moan muffled by something. A pillow or a kiss, he couldn’t tell.

“Fuck, Jeff… Are you planning on fucking me to death now?“

“No, baby, I don’t need you dead. After all, there’ll be a second round.“

Jes could tell by his voice that Jeff was smiling.

“Shit…“

Jes finally ended the call and stopped recording.

He sat there staring at the wall, thinking about nothing and everything at once. It was wrong and sickening to find it all out this way but it was too late to change anything. The only thing he was pondering about was what he should do now.

Jes sat there for who knows how long until his phone buzzed. A notification came.

The moment he opened Line, there was a message from Bible in the working chat:

“Got it, sorry I’m late”

After that messages from Jes turned to ‘read’. Jes saw Bible typing something back.

His hands were shaking as he opened their chat. Time felt like glue, stretching endlessly.

Bible must have noticed that he didn’t decline the last call.

As well as how long it was.

“Yeah Phi, I saw it. Sorry I’m so late”

“I’m home, I’m okay. Sorry for making you worry!”

“Did you want to talk? You called.”

He saw the calls, he knows…

“No, I just wanted to make sure you’re okay. Goodnight, Bl!“

“Oh, okay! Goodnight, Phi!“

Did he pretend he didn’t notice anything? Did he decide to ignore it so they could keep working together?

Jes felt like a moron. He knew he ruined everything.

I should have ended that call right there…

He blamed himself, his conscience ate him up. How could he destroy their relationship?! Everything was fine. He spent so much time building this trust between them only to break it with his own hands by staying on the line instead of ending that damned call.

Jes felt the tears rolling down his cheeks. He hated himself.

How could he look at Bible now? Would Bible even want to look back? What if he’d send him away the moment he saw him?

Jes could say he didn’t hear anything but if there was nothing on the phone, why would he stay on the line for so long?

He needed to go to bed. Tomorrow he’d face the consequences. Unfortunately, he couldn’t sleep at all. He kept on thinking how they would meet and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t come up with an option where everything stayed the same as before.

By the morning, not having slept a wink, Jes got an idea. There’s only one way for them to be together. He would confess his feelings to Bible and Bible would tell him he loved him back. They’d be happy.

Jes wanted to cry, realizing how stupid he is. His heart was aching.

He’s so disgusting and miserable.

He couldn’t help crying.

To find out you like your colleague in the most horrible way…

The worst part is that he liked it. He liked what he heard, he wanted to hear it and he wanted to be in Jeff’s shoes.
