Chapter Text
Jayce and Viktor landed naked in the middle of the woods still holding each other, both unconscious. The steam from the magic that teleported them filling the area with the scent of that very magic. It was lucky for them that it was the middle of the summer.
It was the overwhelming scent and sudden explosion of light that brought two over two very shocked people.
What the unconscious didn’t know what that they were sent to a whole new dimension. They landed on none other than Beacon Hill. The two who found them were Liam and Scott while they were on patrol. The way they were laying neither of the other two could see their faces.
Liam leaned in closer to get a good look and smell. “What do you think happened here?”
Scott shook his head. “I have no idea. They aren’t dead thought.” Liam nodded silently. They could both hear the hearts of the two unconscious strangers beating steadily. “Go get the blankets from your car. They need to get covered up.” Liam nodded and went.
The scent from the arcane magic was not unpleasant to either of them, but it was new. Scott couldn’t stop instinct from taking over and got in close the larger of the two men’s backs and started scenting him. He started from the middle of his back and moved upwards.
It didn’t take Liam that long to return. By the time he did Scott was already close to the shoulders. “Dude, what are you doing?”
This sudden interruption shook Scott from his actions. When he turned to Liam his eyes were blazing red. “I guess I was scenting them.” Scott cleared his throat and closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, they were the normal brown. “I don’t know, instinct I guess.” He turned his eyes back to the pair and gasped. He got a clearer view of the smaller man. “Stiles?!” He immediately turned the bigger man over. “Derek?!”
He turned to look at Liam who had a confused look on his face before turning back. He was so confused. His eyes telling him one thing and yet his other senses were telling him something else entirely. He saw Stiles earlier and he was not this pale, nor was his hair this long.
Liam came closer scenting the air. “That’s not them.” He sounded so sure and Scott had to agree.
Scott to the blankets from Liam and covered them both before standing up. He looked down on them as they slept. “Well whoever they are, it’s going to have to wait until they wake up before we get any answers.”
“You want to wait here or carry them to the car? Call somebody?” Liam’s eyes where big as he asked his alpha what to do.
Scott looked to Liam and then back to the pair before sighing, shaking his head.
