Games They Played, Love they found - Game night series

Summary:

What starts as a friendly drinking game quickly becomes a battle of wit, blushes, and betrayal.
Hermione should’ve known better than to let Theo host game night.

Chapter 1: Truth or Shot (The Start Of It All)

Chapter Text

It starts with Theo saying, “Let’s make it interesting.”

Which is, objectively, a terrible idea. But it’s already too late—there are bottles open, cushions on the floor, and Ron is four drinks deep and giggling every time someone says “wand.”

The room is a Gryffindor-Slytherin disaster.

Harry, Ginny, and Hermione sit on one side of the circle. Draco, Theo, Pansy, and Blaise sit on the other.

“Truth or shot,” Theo declares, swirling his drink like it’s a potion. “If you lie, you drink. If you don’t answer, you drink. If I’m bored, you drink. Welcome to the Slytherin method.”

“I’m scared,” Harry whispers.

“You should be,” Ginny says, already pouring more Firewhisky.

Round One.

“Granger,” Pansy says with a predatory grin. “What’s the most illegal thing you’ve ever done?”

Hermione opens her mouth. Closes it. Opens it again.

Draco arches an eyebrow.

She downs the shot.

The room erupts.

Theo clutches his chest. “I knew you were the dark horse.”

Round Three.

“Malfoy,” Ginny says, a dangerous twinkle in her eye, “Have you ever had a crush on someone in this room?”

Draco looks at Hermione.
Hermione glares.

He smirks. “Yes.”

Hermione downs her drink before anyone can say anything.

Harry yells, “Why is everyone drinking?

Theo yells back, “Because love is confusing, Potter!”

Round Six.

Ron is half-asleep on Ginny’s shoulder. Blaise and Pansy are fake-arguing about who has the better cheekbones. Theo has declared himself “Game Master and Emotional Oracle.”

And Draco leans close to Hermione, eyes bright, voice low.

“Your turn, Granger.”

She squints at him. “Fine. Truth or shot?”

“Truth.”

“Who was the best kiss you’ve ever had?”

The room goes quiet.

Even Theo stops posing dramatically.

Draco just grins.

Then, without breaking eye contact, he raises his glass and downs the shot.

Chaos ensues.

Ginny screams. Harry chokes. Theo drops to the floor. Ron wakes up just long enough to go, “Wait, what?!

And Hermione?

She’s trying not to smile.

She’s losing.
