and so you taste static.

Summary:

It's been thirty years since the original failure in cloning humans, and the success and consequent failure of creating and controlling the strongest Psychic type ever concieved.

The TELEKINETIC's training is much more unexpected.

Notes:

It's time to give writing something a go, because why not? This character have been rocking around in my head for years, enjoy.

Not proofread or beta read it's just me, my phone, and the dead will of god.

Work Text:

At a current age of about nine growthwise, the TK Subject is finally ready for it's first combat test.

It knows this, thin child fingers raking through it's own black hair. It has done.. admirably, as the superiors said in it's last few rounds-placating rampaging Tauros, holding down a wild and feral Aggron in it's grip as the Arons were harvested from it's grasp. But the TELEKINETIC had not been in live, actual combat before.

Too precious, too valuable. But the superiors were taking things slow, they said in voices like It couldn't hear from rooms away.

Now, as the hazy edges of violet twist over It's skin and hair, each rivulet of energy cracking and bending it's locks into spiked and broken shapes, it almost feels afraid.

Usually, when the superiors brought in subjects for it to interact with, It could already well feel the emotions and energy of the creature within the crate.

But not this time. TK was a marvel, they said. A first in cloning and genetic modification, they praised. Not for it, but at it. Either way it was desperate for the praise.

A buzzer sounded from the ceiling, and the crate was finally opened. As dark grey paws clawed out into the light, some strange and alien part of TK's mind felt avoidance. As it is, the Subject watched blankly as the Houndoom dragged the rest of it's frame out from the container.

TK stared at the Pokémon, a blank space with heat. The blank felt like danger. The dog pokemon snarled, a cruel red glint to it's eyes.

Somewhere, likely hidden behind glass and panels, a superior questioned the danger-

PAIN.

The TELEKINETIC FELT PAIN.

IT BURNED AS FANGS SUNK DEEP, THE CRACK OF THEIR BONES GIVING UNDER CRUSHING FORCE-

Violet energy turned rasping and violent clawed up the walls of the chamber, sparking edges of hazy indigo that didn't do anything to the Hound biting deeper and deeper in pain in pain pain pain-

TK felt the moment freeze, the hellish burning agony of their arm, the hateful glare of the dog straight into it's own eyes. The chamber was bare, just square paneling. The chamber was bare, just square- There it is.

The TELEKINETIC ripped it's own mind to pieces, the PAIN was quarantined. The THREAT was acknowledged. The SOLUTION was grasped in tendrils of psychic energy, worming through the metal plating in less than a blink-

And in one almost instantaneous movement,

The hellhound was cleaved in half from the sheer force of a sharp edged metal panel. It embedded into the floor. An alarm was blaring somewhere.

The TELEKINETIC watched numbly as the PAIN didn't stop, the dead dog's jaws finally releasing it's hold on their broken and burned arm. The THREAT was done with. The SOLUTION was found.

They stood back, watching as the front half of the hellhound's body slumped into the concrete tile, mangled arm at one side, and the other reaching- out?

Superiors finally reached the chamber, barking nonsense words and threats and-

Well. TK felt the violence of itself.

It was, numbly, starting to like it.
