Summary:

I got this inspration from someone on Wattpad called @Vintage_Retro_Queen

But I'll make sure mine isn't at all like theirs.

Also, someone in the comments of my first fanfic between MLB and Helluve Boss game me this isand, and I didn't until now, see how this could be a cool crossover.

Notes:

Just a little note before we begin.

I am still settling in, I have yet changed my State Id and my phone number.

But I had managed to get a job a couple of days ago.

I am also working on another fanfic on another fanfic site *Cough* Wattpad *couch*

So, if I'm not constatly updating chapters like I normally do, that is why.

Luckily I only work three days for three hours. *thumps up with a smile*

Chapter 1: Wrong Bus, Wrong Island

Chapter Text

The boat lurched against the makeshift dock, and Marinette stumbled, her worn duffel bag slipping from her grabs. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic drumbeat accompanying the churning in her stomach.

Towering pines crowed the shoreline, casing lone, ominous shadows in the late afternoon sun. This HAD to be it.

Camp...what was it called? Wawanakwa Military Training Facility The name in itself sent shivers down her spine.

She straightened her shoulders, trying to project an air of confidence she definitely didn't feel. Taking a deep breath of the damp, earthy air, she cautiously stepped off the boat the moment it docked.

The only person in sight was a tall, tanned man with a mischievous glint in his eyes and perfectly ciffed hair. He wore a bright blue polo shirt and cargo pants, a stark contrast to the drab olive green she'd mentally prepared herself for.

He grinned, a wide, almost predatory smile. "Well. Look what the tide dragged in folks!" He spoke to a camera, which Marinette found confusing. "This here is Marinette Dupain-Cheng! She was recommended to us all the way from France Paris! She appears to be a rising fashion designer, who became popular overnight, and now has good connections with her famous commissioners!"

Marinette blushed in embarrassment, not expecting the guy, who she thought, was a drill Sargent, to tell people about her fashion business and the fact that she has connections to famous people.

"Welcome to Total Drama Island! I'm the host, Chris McLean!" He introduced himself as he stuck his hand out to her.

Marinette blinked, her brow furrowing, but she still took Chris's hand. "Total Drama Island? I...I thought this was a military boot camp." She explains.

The man chuckles as he let go of her hand. "Boot camp? Honey, this is where one lucky teenager outsmarts, outplays, and outlasts twenty-two other contestants for a grand prize of one hundred thousand dollars!" He gestured dramatically around the seemingly deserted island. "Eight weeks of grueling challenges, disgusting food, and absolutely no contact with the outside world! It's gonna be epic!"

Relief washed over Marinette in a dizzying wave, so potent it almost bucked her knees. Not a drill sergeant screaming in her face at dawn. No endless push ups or obstacle courses designed to break her spirit. Just...a reality tv show.

Then relief curdled into a fresh wave of anger.

Her classmates, they had actually gone through with it. They had believed Lila's ridiculous lies, probably something about her being aggressive and needing discipline, and they some how got her into this show without checking to see if it was really a military boot camp, as they thought it was.

"My...My classmates did this." She stammered, her voice tight with a mixture of lingering fear and rising fury. "They thought this was some kind of...military boot camp." She explained.

Chris, oblivious to the internal turmoil breaking with in the small Parisian girl, just grinned wider. "Well, they got you here! And that's all that matters. You're officially contestant number one!" He clapped her on the shoulder, a little too enthusiastically. "Get ready for the summer of your life, kid! It's gonna be a wild ride!"

Marinette stared out at the seemingly idyllic, yet strangely ominous island. A wide ride indeed, and her classmates were going to be sorry they put her on it.

-----------------------------

The Bustier class were all at Lila's house, because it was big enough for all of them to hang out. They were all upset, because their school was shut down due to an investigation, because the class had secretly took a video of Marinette Dupain-Cheng stretching a dress design while singing. They then sent that recording to a website that was asking people to submit video auditions.

Max said it was a military boot camp, due to hacking into the site and getting the address to the island and seeing what the island REALLY looked like.

They were so happy when the letter came in that Marinette got accepted and when they gave it to her during class, their teacher already had a suitcase packed for her, since Alya snuck into Marinette's room when she was out doing something. They didn't even let her say goodbye to her parents, before forcing her onto a plane and sending her off.

They were glad that got rid of her, and that she wouldn't be able to hurt Lila anymore. But now they were paying the consequences.

When Marinette's parents reported her missing, police dug into it, and found out about the plane ticket and the CCV footage of them forcing her onto the plane. This resulted in the school being shut down for the time being, while Principal Damocles and Miss Bustier get investigated, while the minors got off scoot free thanks to Lila.

Now, they all sat in Lila's room, trying to find something to watch, when they came across a tv show that appeared to be just starting.

"Yo! We're coming at you live from Camp Wawanakwa! Somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario!" The man on the show tells the viewers.

"Huh, that's weird." Max mumbled. "That's the same place we sent Marinette." This got the rest attention and they soon realized the same thing.

"I'm your host, Chris McLean. Dropping season one of the hottest reality show on television, right now!" The man explains while introducing himself. "Here's the deal. Twenty-three campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp! They'll compete in challenges against each other, them have to face judgment of their fellow campers. Ever three days, one team will either win a reward, or watch one of their team members walk down the Dock of Shame, take a ride of the Loser Boat, and leave Total Drama Island, for good."

"Damn, that seems harsh." Adrien mumbered, feeling bad for the people on the show.

"Their fate will be decided here ,at the dramatic Camfpire Ceremonies. Where each week, all but one camper will receive a marshmallow." Chris explains as he held up a marshmallow. "In the end, only one left will be standing and will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame, and a small portion, which, let's face it. They'll probably blow in a week." He laughed at his own joke.

They also laughed, finding it funny, while Adrien did not understand.

"To survive, they'll have to battle black flies, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food, and each other." Chris says, as he shows on camera, all the stuff he mentioned, even the disgusting food, which caused them to cringe in disgust. "Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp. Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out here, right now, on...Total. Drama. Island!"

They all seem interested in this show and Lila took notice of this and smirked as she decided to take advantage of this. "You know, I know Chris personalty." She smoothly lies, causing everyone to look at her in shock but also awe.

"Really, girl!?" Alya asked in awe.

Lila smiled as she nodded her head. "Yeah, he's friends with my parents, and I'm basically his niece." She easily lied, causing Adrien to frown, but he didn't dare stop her.

"Girl, you HAVE to set me an interview with him!" Alya begs as she clung to Lila's arm, her boyfriend looking ashamed of his girlfriend's desperation.

"Of course I will Alya!" Lila promised, full well knowing, she can't keep it. "But it has to be after the show, since he'll be busy." She came up with an easy excuse, causing them to agree with her. "I even gave him the idea of the show!"

"That's amazing, Lila!" Rose said, sounding amazed.

Adrien sat there on Lila's bed, clutching his hands in his lap, trying to control his anger. 'Her lies aren't hurting anyone. I can't expose her because she'll just get hurt.' He reminded himself, calming himself down.

"Oh, look! The first contest is arriving!" Mylene shouted, catching their attention. They all turned back to the tv to see who the first contestants would be.They watch as the boat docked and a girl with blue hair in two pigtails stepped off the boat, looking terrified.

'Wait, isn't that?' Adrien thought as he stared wide eyed at the person on the tv. 'No, there's no way. It can't be her.'

"Well. Look what the tide dragged in folks!" Chris spoke to a camera, which caused the blue haired girl to stare at him in confusion. "This here is Marinette Dupain-Cheng! She was recommended to us all the way from France Paris! She appears to be a rising fashion designer, who became popular overnight, and now has good connections with her famous commissioners! Welcome to Total Drama Island! I'm the host, Chris McLean!" He introduced himself as he stuck his hand out to her.

The blue haired girl blinked, her brow furrowing, but she still took Chris's hand. "Total Drama Island? I...I thought this was a military boot camp." She explains.

This causes the class to gasp collectively in shock. "So it WAS Marinette!" Adrien blurted out, but no one blamed him, as they were all equally surprised.

"But didn't we sign her up to go to a MILITARY BOOT CAMP!?" Alya screeched in anger.

Lila was upset as well. 'I can't believe it!? Why is she so lucky!?' She thought in anger as she clutched her fists, growling quietly in jealously and anger, with her teeth gritting.

The man chuckles as he let go of her hand. "Boot camp? Honey, this is where one lucky teenager outsmarts, outplays, and outlasts twenty-two other contestants for a grand prize of one hundred thousand dollars!" He gestured dramatically around the seemingly deserted island. "Eight weeks of gruleing challenges, disgusting food, and absolutely no contact with the outside world! It's gonna be epic!"

They all saw the relief that came over Marinette's face, before it morphed into anger. "My...My classmates did this." She stammered, her voice tight with a mixture of lingering fear and rising fury. "They thought this was some kind of...military boot camp." She explained.

Alya groaned in annoyance. "Now she's making us sound bad to millions!"

"But she didn't say our names." Nino points out, trying to subtly defend his old childhood friend, but also trying not to anger his girlfriend.

"That doesn't matter!" Alya screeched at him, causing him to flinch back away from her. "If those viewers find out who she is, they WILL trace us back to her, and realize we're the "friends" she's talking about!"

Lila's and Chloe's eyes widened in horror at this, as they both realized, that it meant that millions...no, BILLIONS will hear how Marinette talks about them, and paint them as the villains in her story.

Lila and Chloe knows how the internet works, and if Marinette gets enough fans who were willing to go nuclear on someone, they won't stop until every information on her abusers is upearthed and out in the public.

Chris, oblivious to the internal turmoil breaking within the small Parisian girl, just grinned wider. "Well, they got you here! And that's all that matters. You're officially contestant number one!" He clapped her on the shoulder, a little too enthusiastically. "Get ready for the summer of your life, kid! It's gonna be a wild ride!"

The class groaned in annoyance, but chose to continue watching, wanting to see how Marinette's first went, and see if she'd fail.

"All right, it's time to meet our other first eleven campers!" Chris says, sounding excited. "We told them they'd all be staying at this five star resort, so if they seem a little R.O.ed, that's probably why." He whispered that part to Marinette, but the camera still caught onto it.

Alya frowned in annoyance. "Lila, why is your uncle acting so...nice to Marinette?" She asked. "Didn't you tell him about all the mean things she's been doing to you?"

Lila froze for a moment, trying to come up with an excuse on the spot. "OH, no, I didn't want to bother him really." She lied as she frowned. "Now, I regret not telling him." She mumbled that part, tearing up a bit. This caused the class to comfort her and she soaked in the attention she was getting like a nasty sponge.

Suddenly a boat arrives with the second campers. "Beth, what's up?" Chris asked as the new camper excitedly rushed off the boat and over to him.

"It's so incredulous to meet you!" She shouts as she hugged Chris, causing him to cringe. She then lets him go as she takes a step back. "Wow! You're much shorter in real life." She blurted out, damaging Chris's ego.

"Uh, thanks." Chris grumbled in annoyance.

Lila scoffed as she crossed her arms. "That was rude of her! You can't point out someone's height like that!" She stated sternly, causing her sheep to flock to her and agree with her.

Soon, the next boat arrives, he steps off the boat. "DJ!" Chris shouted his name and they dap each other up.

"Yo! Chris McLean, how's it going?" DJ asked before he finally got the look of the island. "Hey, you sure you got the right place here? Where's the hot tub at?" She confusedly asked.

"He lied to you guys." Marinette informed DJ, causing him to frown.

Adrien frowned, not liking that she outed Chris of lying. 'She shouldn't have done that. It wasn't hurting anybody.'

Chris shrugged his shoulders as he grins. "I have no shame in doing that." He admitted, which surprised all the campers, including the Bustier class.  Soon, the next boat arrived and a goth girl gets off the boar. "Hey, Gwen!" Chris calls out to her as she steps off the boat.

She took a quick look around before raising an eyebrow at Chris. "You mean we're staying here?" She asked.

"No." Chris says with a smile. "You're staying here. My crib is an air stream with AC that-a-way." He said while pointing in the direction of where he's staying.

Gwen frowns at this. "I did not sign up for this." She says with disdain.

"Actually you did." Chris says as he held out the contract that she signed.  Gwen snatches it and rips it to shreds before smugly smirking at him. "Great things about lawyers..." Chris pulls out a copy of the contract, causing her to lose her smug smirk. "They make lots of copies."

"I'm not staying here." Gwen snarled as she glared at him and goes to leave.

"That's cool. I hope you can swim though." Chris tells her with a smug smirk as they notice the boat that Gwen arrived on was always sailing away. "Because your ride just left." He then walks away from her.

"Jerk." Gwen grumbled in annoyance.

Marinette walked over to her and offered her a reassuring smile. "I know it's not what you were promised. But I believe we can make the most of this, if we stick together and get along."

Gwen stared at her for a moment, before smiling. "Thanks."

This made Lila internally groan in disgust, while the others shocked by this.

'But I thought Marinette was a suck up spoiled brat?' Alya thought in annoyance. 'Why was she so rude and cruel to Lila, but is nice to this...STRANGER!?' She thought in anger.

The next boat arrived. "Chris McLean! Sup, man! It's an honor to meet you, man!" The masculine looking blonde man shouts.

"The Geoff-ster! Welcome to the island, man!" Chris shouted back, just as excited as the camper was.

"Thanks man!" Geoff said.

Gwen growled in annoyance and Marinette placed a hand on her shoulder which calmed her down.

Soon the next camper arrived. "Everybody, this is Lindsay." Chris says as he eyes her up and down. Not too shabby." He muttered with a grin.

Everyone cringes in disgust. "Oh god! That's disgusting! She's what...SIXTEEN!" Chloe shouted before looking over at Lila. "Didn't you say that he was your uncle!?"

This caught everyone's attention and Lila internally panicked, as she hadn't expected Chris McLean to be a pervert. "I don't remember him being like this! We haven't' talked in a while." She blurted out, lying again to save herself.

"But I thought, you gave him the idea for the show." Rose asked, pointing out what Lila told them previously.

"When I was a kid." Lila quickly covered it up, and everyone appeared to fall for it, causing her to sigh in relief.

Lindsay walks over to the group and waves. "Hii! Okay, you look so familiar." She said, referring to Chris.

Chris frowned at this. "I'm Chris McLean." That appearnly didn't do the trick. "The host of the show." He stated with a frown.

Lindsay's eyes widened. "Ohh! So that's where I know you from!"

Chloe groaned in annoyance at this. "She gives us blonde a bad rap!" She whined, and everyone couldn't blame her.

The next camper soon arrived. "Heather!" Chris shouted as he held his arms out to welcome her. She walks right past him, ignoring him, refusing to acknowledge the other contestants.

"Oh great. Another Chloe." Alya spat, causing Chloe to glare at her.

"What does that mean!?" She shouted, causing everyone to groan in annoyance. They went back to watching the show, and saw Beth go up to Heather.

"Hi! Looks like we're your new friends for the next eight weeks!" She said, spitting with every word leaving her mouth. Heather cringes in disgust at this.

"Duncan, dude!" They hear Chris shout and the camera pans over to him, to see the next camper arrive.

The class gasped in shock at the sight of the dude. "Damn, he looks like he came straight out of juvie!" Alix blurted out, causing the rest of them to laugh while Adrien frown, finding what she said was rude.

"I DON'T like surprises." Duncan said with a glare, trying to intimidate Chris.

"Yeah, your parole officer warned me about that man. He also told me to give him a holler any time and have you return to juvie." Chris said in a smug tone.

"HE ACTUALLY CAME FROM JUIVE?!" Alix screeched in utter disbelief.

'I'm not surprised though.' Lila thought as she looked at what Duncan was wearing. 'I mean...look at him! He looks like punk style threw up on him!'

Duncan then starts sniffing the air, which confused them. They watched as he looked around, before his eyes landed on Marinette and he gave her a sly smirk, which caused Adrien to tense up.

"Okay then." He walks over to Marinette. "Meet you at the campfire, gorgeous." He flirted with her before walking past her. Marinette's eyes were widened as she blushed, not used to someone pliantly flirting with her.

This caused Adrien to clenched his fists in anger, but he didn't understand where the anger came from. 'Maybe it's because Marinette is such a dear friend of mine, and I don't like the vibe of this boy.' He thought, completely in denial.

"I'm calling my parents!" Heather screeched in anger. "You can not make us stay here!"

Alya groaned in annoyance. "Chloe 2.0." She mumbled causing everyone to laugh while Chloe grumbled in anger.

Chris held up Heather's phone, which immediately shut her up. Soon the next camper arrived, by water skiing.

"Ladies and gentleman, Tyler!" Chris announces and they all watch as Tyler loses his grip on the tow line and wipes out in the water, before slamming into the dock, where he goes flying through the air and crashing into the luggage.

They all winced at that while Marinette ran over to him. "Are you okay?" She asked as she grabbed Tyler's arm and helped him up.

"Thanks!" Tyler thanked her as they both walked over back to the group.

Both of them not noticing Duncan glaring at Tyler, but the boy felt it, which caused him to shudder in fear.

"Damn, he's terrifying!" Rose whimpered as she clung to Juleka, who rubbed her back.

"I hope he stays away from Marinette." Mylene says in a worried tone. "I mean, she looks to be approving, and Duncan would just ruin that!" They all agreed with her, and hoped that Duncan stayed far away from Marinette.

"Wicked wipe out man!" Chris shouts, before he shuddered as there was someone standing behind him, breathing on his neck. He spun around. "CHRIST! I gotta put a bell on you!" He took a breath before continuing to speak. "Welcome to camp Harold!"

Harold chose to ignore him and looked around. "So, you mean this show is at a crabby summer camp and not on some big stage or something?" He asked.

Chris nodded with a smile. "You got it!"

Harold then threw his fist into the air with joy. "Yes! That is so much more favorable to my skills!" He walks past him and over to the others.

"Contestant, number nine is Trent!" Chris exclaims as the next boat arrives and the new camper steps off of it.

"Hey, good to meet you man!" Trent says, trying to butter Chris up. "I saw you on the figure skating show. Nice work!" They fist bump each other.

"Hey thanks man! I knew I rocked that show!" Chris says, taking the compliment.

"Figure skating?" Alya mumbled as she glanced over at Lila.

"We used to figure skate together a lot when I was a kid." She lied. "I guess he never stopped." She placed her hand on her chest, trying to make it appear she was touched. Her classmates fell hook line and sinker.

"I saw that too!" They hear Beth and turned back to the tv. "One of the guys dropped his partner on her head, so they got immunity that week!"

"Lucky!" Harold whined, confusing the Bustier class. "I hope I get dropped on my head."

"Ooh! Me too!" Lindsay shouted in excitement.

"What the hell is wrong with these people?" Chloe mumbled in confusion.

Trent takes a look around. "So this is it?" He asked. "All right then." He then goes to stand next to Gwen.

The next camper arrived with a surfboard in hand. "Hey, what's up?" She asked.

"Our surf chick Bridgette is here!" Chris exclaims to the audience at home.

"Nice board. This ain't Malibu honey." Duncan said sarcastically.

"Well, you all did think this was a five star resort." Marinette retorted as she narrowed her eyes on him. "So obviously she brought her surfboard to surf."

Duncan stared at her for a moment, before smirking. "Oh, you just got a lot better, feisty kitty." He said in a flirting tone, causing Marinette to blush in embarrassment.

Adrien frowned again, his anger rising, which Plagg had to help calm him down before he got himself Akumatized.

"All right, that makes-" Chris gets cut off by Bridgette accidentally knocking her board into him. "OW! Darn it, that hurts!"

"Hey guys!" She says walking over to the other campers, ignoring Chris.

"Hey, I'm Geoff!" Geoff was quick to introduce himself first, already smitten with her.

She turns to face him, almost hitting everyone. "What's up?"

"Dang! Watch the board, man!" Harold complained.

"Hi, I'm Beth!" Beth introduces herself, causing Bridgette to turns towards her, almost hitting everyone again...okay, she hit Harold.

"OW!" Harold whined.

"Okay! We've met surfer girl! Can we get on to the show, please!?" Heather pleaded with Chris, obviously annoyed.

"Someone missed their cappuccino macchiato this morning?" Duncan asked with a smugness in his voice, clearly looking to get a rise out of her.

"Get bent!" She snarled at him.

"Our next camper, is Noah!" Chris shouted, gaining their attention.

Noah gets off the boat and looks so...bored. "You got my memo about my life threatening allergies?" He asked Chris.

"Sure, someone die!" Chris said unbothered and Noah wasn't impressed by that.

"Great...is this where we're staying?" He asked.

"No. It's your mother's house and we're throwing a party." Duncan said sarcastically while cracking his knuckles.

Marinette frowned as she placed her hand on his and pushed it down. "Can you not threaten everyone you first met?" She asked, sounding upset.

Duncan chuckled as he grabbed Marinette's hand. "If you wanted to hold my hand, all you had to was ask, hot stuff." He flirted, causing Marinette to get flustered before she ripped her hand out of his grasp.

Once again, Adrien glared at the tv, not liking how Duncan was flirting with Marinette.

"Cute." Noah said sarcastically. "Nice piercings, original. Do them yourself?" He asked in a mocking tone.

"Yeah. You want one?" Duncan asked as he grabbed Noah's bottom lip with one hand and pulled it out. Then with his other hand, he pulled out a needel.

Marinette gasped in fear and worry while grabbed Duncan's arm that was holding the needel. "Stop it!" She shouted at Duncan, causing him to let go of Noah's lip. "Seriously, what is wrong with you!?"

Duncan chuckled as he smirked at Marinette. "Don't worry, you'll get to know soon." He told her in a flirting tone, causing her to let go of his arm and back away from him.

Alya and the rest of the girls groaned in annoyance. "Seriously!? Can he stop flirting with her!?"

'Yeah, there's nothing special about her!' Lila thought in anger as she glared at Marinette on the Tv. She then thought of a great lie. "You know, I actually know him." She blurted out, causing them to look over at her.

"I had volunteered at this juvie to teach the kids there how to better themselves. Duncan was one of the kids there." She easily lied as she had a Solomon expression on her face.

"What did he do to land in juvie?" Alya asked, completely falling for Lila's lie.

"From what I was told, he stole a bike and beat the person with a wrench." Lila blurted out, hoping that these idiots didn't realize that this lie was from that tv show Shameless.

"Whoa, that's terrible!" Rose shouted as she had tears in her eyes. "Why would he do such a thing?"

Lila internally smirked, her ego rising, that they had fallen for her lie. "The dude was chatting to the girl he liked." She said, trying to paint Duncan as some crazy obsessive fanboy.

Adrien's eyes widened in horror as he glanced at the TV, where a next camper just arrived.

"What's up yall!? Leshawna's in the house!" The new camper exclaims as she steps off the boat, and Harold gasped in awe. "Yo, baby! Hey, how you doing? How's it going?" She says as she high fives Chris, before turning to the rest of the campers. "Feel free to quit now! Save yourself the trouble cause I came to win!" She said in confidence, before walking over to DJ. "Give me some sugar baby!"

The two high five each other, before Harold decided to speak up. "I've never seen a girl like you before."

"Excuse me?" Leshawna said as she raised a questioning eyebrow at him.

"You're real big...and loud!" Harold said, which shocked everyone.

"Oh, he did NOT just say that!?" Alya shouted in anger while they watch Leshawna try to attack Harold, but she gets held back by Trent and DJ while Harold tries to defend himself by using...karate moves.

"What is wrong with his head?" Chloe asked, slithly disturbed by Harold.

"Now, Chloe. That was mean." Lila said smoothly, causing Chloe to narrow her eyes on her while everyone else swooned over how kind Lila was.

"All right campers, settle down!" Chris says as he gathers everyone's attention, allowing Leshawna to calm down and get released.

Soon the next boat arrived, but this time two pairs of girls were on the boat. "Ladies! Sadie, Katie, welcome to your new home for eight weeks!" Chris said, introducing the two.

"Oh my gosh! Sadie, look! It's a summer camp!" Katie squealed in excitement.

"I always wanted to go to a summer camp!" Katie squealed also in excitement before they both squealed together before grabbing their bags and running off the boat to join the other campers.

Marinette smiled as she held out her hand to the two girls. "Hi, I'm Marinette. You two remind me of one of my classmates." She said, causing the two girls to smile and return the shake.

Rose gasped as she covered her hands on her mouth as she teared up. "She's talking about me!" She squealed, figuring Marinette was talking about her.

Soon the next boat arrived. "Ezekiel! What's up man?" Chris asked.

"I think I see a bird." Ezekiel says while looking up to the sky, misunderstanding the greeting.

"Okay, look dude, I know you don't get out much, been home schooled your whole life and raised by freaky prairie people. Just don't say much and try not to get kicked off too early, okay?" Chris said.

Adrien's eyes widened in surpise. "So he was home schooled too?" He mumbled, but his classmates heard him and Nino placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, maybe Marinette can introduce you to him!" He suggested, causing Adrien to smile, liking that idea of getting to know Ezekiel as they share something in common.

The next camper soon arrives. "Cody! The "Code-ster" the Code-meister!" Chris says as he high fives Cody.

"Dude, psyched to be here man!" Cody said as he takes a glance over to the other campers. "I see the ladies have already arrived. All right!" He cheered as he makes his way towards the girls, grinning ear to ear.

He then tries to say something to Leshawna, but she sticks her hand in front of his face. "Save it, short stuff!" She gives him a look and he walks away from her.

"Now that was rude!" Mylene shouted, upset that Leshawna would reject Cody like that, without even getting to know him, or letting him speak.

"Eve, nice! Glad you could make it!" They hear Chris and the camera pans over to him, welcoming the next camper, who looked grumpy.

Cody goes over to greet her, but she ignores him and drops her bags down on his foot.

"OW!" He cries out in pain while grabbing his injured foot and bouncing on one leg. "What's in there, dumbbells!?" He asked sarcastically.

"Yes." Eve said with a stoic expression, which clearly meant...she wasn't joking.

"She's all yours man." Duncan says as he teasly nudges DJ.

Suddenly there was a loud shout and the camera pans over to the boat to see a big guy arriving. "WOOOOOHOOOO! Chris! What's happein'!? Haha! This is awesome! WOOOOHOOOO!" He exclaims with excitement.

"Owen! Welcome!" Chris greets him as he gets off the boat and picks Chris up into a tight hug.

"Awesome to be here man! Man, this is so-"

"Awesome?" Gwen rhetorically asked.

"She doesn't have to be mean." Adrien mumbled in disappointment, not liking how Gwen was being mean to Owen, because he's excited.

"Here comes Courtney!" Chris exclaims as the next camper arrives and he helps her off the boar.

"Thank you." She thanked Chris before looking over at the other campers. "Hi! You must be the other contestants. It's really nice to meet you all." She says with a sweetness in her tone.

Marinette frowned, as she recognized the false front Courtney had on, knowing how to deal with people like her. "Hi, my name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" She happily introduced herself to Courtney with a smile, just as wide as hers.

"Wait!" Heather screeches, causing everyone to look over at her. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" She repated Marinette's name, which confused everyone.

"Why does Marientte's name shock her so much?" Nino asked, completely confused.

"Maybe she's never met a person from France before?" Alix suggested.

"As, in...MDC!?" Heather screeches again, but this time in excitement and awe.

"WHAT!?" The whole class shouted in shock and anger.

"No! Marinette can't be MDC! She would have told me!" Alya shouted in anger, upset that there could be a chance that her best friend kept something so big from her.

Marinette nervously chuckled. "I rather not say on live national tv." She commented, and that was all she needed to say.

Heather squealed in excitement as she pulled Marinette into an embrace. "You are my favorite fashion designer! If I had known you were going to come here, I would have brought better clothes with me!"

Marinette nervously chuckled as she hugged Heather back, just to be polite. "Well, I wasn't expecting it either. My classmates and teacher signed me up without asking, and then forced me on a plane here."  This caused everyone to freeze as they stared at Marinette it utter disbelief.

"WHY WOULD SHE TELL THEM THAT!?" Alya screeched in anger. She was still upset that her best friend never told her that she was MDC!

"Oh, wow!" Courtney suddenly says as she looks off in the distance, which caused everyone else to look.

The camera pans to the dock, and all the girls in the class all "Oh, wow" at the next camper.

"Everyone, this is Justin!" Chris says as he gestured over to Justin. "Justin, welcome to Total Drama Island!" He says as they fist bump.

"Thanks Chris. This is great!" Justin said, sounding happy.

"Just so you know, we picked you entirely based on your looks." Chris said with a smile, unbothered by what he just said.

"I can deal with that." Justin said, unbothered by it before making his way over to the others.

"God, he looks hot!" Alya blurted out, causing her boyfriend to look at her with betrayal.

"Alya!" He shouted her name, hoping to snap her out of it.

"Oh, shut it!" Alya snapped at him, which shocked him. He couldn't believe his girlfriend's entire personality changed just because of a...hot guy?

Soon the next boat arrived, standing on the bow of the boat. "Hey everyone, Izzy!" Chris announces.

"Hi Chris! Hi-WOAH!" Izzy shouts as she slips off the bow of the boat and bangs her chin right on the dock.

Everyone cringes at that. "God, that had to hurt." Alix mumbled, while her and Kim were grinning, seeming excited by this camper.

Courtney and Marinette help Izzy up, looking worried. "Guys! She could be seriously hurt!" Courtney reprimands them.

"Are you okay, Izzy?" Marinette asked in a worried voice.

Izzy shakes her head, getting the water out of her hair. "That felt so good! Except for hitting my chin!" She says in excitement before looking at the camp. "This is summer camp? This is so cool!" She then turns to Chris. "Do you have paper-mache? Are we having lunch soon?"

Marinette sighed in relief. "Good, she appears to be fine." Courtney nodded her head as they walked back over to the others.

"First things first, we need a group photo for the promos!" Chris tells them as he held out a camera. "Everyone on the end of the dock!" He orders. They all move over to the end of the dock and get into position while Christ jumps on the remaining boat and readies his camera.

"One! Two! Three!" He snaps the photo. "Forgot the lens cap." He quickly removes it, and readies for another shoot. "Okay! Hold that pose! One tw- Oh! No, wait! Card's full. Hang on."

They all glare at him in annoyance. "Come on man! My face is starting to freeze!" Leshawna complains.

"Got it!" Chris exclaims as he gets the camera readied. "Okay! Everyone say "Wawanakwa!"

"Wawanakwa!" They all shout, however, just before the photo was taken, the dock collapses under the weight of everyone and they all fell into the water.
