Chapter Text
Regulus grew up believing that Muggleborns stole the magic from purebloods. He grew up believing that if Muggleborns didn't learn magic and became an obscurus, there would be more magic for those who were purebloods. He grew up seeing the statistics and everything, though he, like many people, believed that magic was sentient and that anyone born a squib was not worthy of Lady Magic's blessing. As he grew older and started to form his own opinions, he began to realize that no one, no matter their blood status, deserved to die or become an obscurial. Regulus was 15 now, he decided he wanted to make a more informed decision on this topic. This is where our story will begin.
-third person POV-
Regulus was a fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As it was Halloween, Regulus had decided to stay away from the Great Hall instead hiding away in the library surrounded by books of wizarding history and their origins, well skimming over a book on politics surrounding purebloods and their magics Regulus stumbled on a chapter that talked about the origans of the sacred 28 and the history behind all pure blood families. He pauses his skimming over the book and decides to read the chapter, which talks all about how purebloods started as muggles and how the sacred 28 are just families that are old enough to rewrite history to their liking, creating the blood ideals that everyone lives by today, including the current dark lord
