Han, Liam and Alicent are sitting in the restaurant booth talking to one another when Jabari arrives and plops down on the seat next to Han.
Alicent looked at him and scoffs. “I didn’t expect you to come. you idiot didn’t look like —“ Before she could go on with an insult that was sure about to start an an argument Han interrupted her. Giving Jabari a pat on the back, telling him „Good that you could make it. Text us next time.“
Jabari glares at Alicent and then turns around to Han, Last minute decision man. He leans slightly forward on table and looks each of them in the eye, So how is everyone fine with killing monsters.
All three of them yell, shut up, be quiet, don’t talk about this here. At the same time Alicent swings her fist back about to punch him when September breaks out of Liam’s Hug and pushes his face down, to avoid him getting hit.
Her expression worried, she smiles at Alicent and tries to calm her best friend down, „He is new. Don’t be to hard on him“, scoldingly reprimanding her „I wasn’t there when you got introduced but they told me that it also took you a while. Nobody takes it well.“ Seeing that Alicent doesn’t look like she is about to punch Jabari through the window anytime soon she sits down.
Right as she sits down, Liam who quietly watched the exchange scoops her up into another hug. He looks at Jabari with this irritated expression,
„We already talked about this, did you even listen? We don’t have much of a choice. We don’t want our family to die, We don’t want to die, At least we are strong enough to have a chance.“
Chiming in, Han says „we are more fortunate than others because we can fight back. After a while you find a way, it sticks with you and the whole operation gets easier. It just takes a while. Besides you now have us, you can always come for help.“
The last statement elicits Alicent to roll her eyes „Don’t come crying to me if you can’t handle it. I already told you so.“
Jabari grins at them „Thanks, I appreciate that“.
