Chapter Text
It was an usual day at Elmore, kids went to school, some adults went to work, a guy robbed a minimarket with a spoon, the usual.
But one new thing happened, someone moved to Elmore, a family of a mom and a kid, the Starr family.
Luna, a 36 years old alien woman who works for a company that produces shirts.
And Harvey, a 12 years old lavender pink aline boy with short spiky black hair with 2 small pigtails, big compleatly pitch black alien eyes, who always wears a long sleeved black and red striped shirt, baggy blue jeans and red adidas who is overly obsessed with space, ghosts, sucks with social cues and doesn't understand the meaning of personal space.
The day after they moved to Elmore, Luna went to work and Harvey went to school.
"Listen up! There's a new students!" Miss Simian yelled, angry, like always. What the hell was her problem.
Harvey walked in the classroom, slightly smiling, "hi, I'm Harvey Starr, I'm from Ireland" he said as he vawed a little.
"Go sit down!" Miss Simian yelled, angrily, Harvey face fell falt, "i already hate her" he thought. Was there anyone who didn't?
He set down at the only free sit, next to a blue cat boy who didn't listen to anything the whole time, too busy talking to an orange fish boy sit next to him.
After the tremendously long lessons that felt like the NeverEnding story but without the good ending, it was finnaly recess.
Most of the students were playing around, playing basketball, or trying to, mostly ending up accidentally throwing the ball at their own faces.
Harvey was sitting upside-down on a bench, legs against the wall, back on the bench, head upside-down, reading a book about ghosts, until the ball rolled towards him after the blue cat boy accidentally threw it at his own face. Harvey closed the book, got up, picked up the ball and walked up the blue cat boy and handed him the ball, who was still saying "ow, that hurt" while rubbing his nose.
"I think it would be a better idea if you changed game" Harvey said with a little smile, handing the blue cat boy the ball,
"Oh, yeah? What should we play instead?" The blue can boy said, offend like he was good at playing basketball.
"Are you there" Harvey said with a little smile
"What?" The blue cat boy and the orange fish boy said at the same time with a confused look
"It's a game, you ask ghosts questions, you only need a sheet of paper, 2 pencils and to be in a bathroom" Harvey said with a smirk
The blue cat boy first had a suspicious look, not convinced, but he wasn't having much fun playing basketball anyway, "mhe, ok, let's do it" he said.
While the 3 of them were getting the stuff to do the game, the orange fish boy realized that him and the blue cat boy didn't introduce themselves to the new kid, Harvey.
"Oh, we didn't tell you our names, I'm Darwin and he's Gumball" The orange fish boy said with a smile, first pointing at himself and then at the blue cat boy.
"I like your names!" Harvey said with smile
"Thanks" Darwin said smiling.
Maybe Darwin and Gumball could get used to hang out with a third kid.
Gumball, Darwin and Harvey were sitting in the bathroom in a semicircle, a sheet of paper with two pencils on it, one vertical, the other orizontal, on the sheet was divided in 4 squares, written in each on them there was either yes or on.
Harvey closed his eyes, Darwin and Gumball copied him.
"Are we in the presence of any supernatural entity in this moment?" Harvey asked, before anything could happen, the lights turned on, "uhm...what the hell are y'all doing in the girls bathroom?" A ghost girl asked confused,
"Uuuuuhhhh....nothing" Gumball said and got up and started to walk out the bathroom, followed by Darwin and Harvey.
Gumball, Darwin and Harvey were kida disappointed they got interrupted, but after all it was just a stupid game, the pencils moved only beacuse the door of the bathroom closed and opened, no other reason.
