Tell Me What You Think About Alice

Summary:

A collection of poetic drabbles written for the SDV Writers Guild’s OC Week, using the day 3 prompt "Family (flesh or found)."

Notes:

This idea hit me like a paintball to the face while I was taking a walk this morning and I simply had to make it happen. I have no explanation other than that. If you're subscribed to me, I'm so sorry for spamming your inbox!!

If you happened to read my Haley/Maru drabbles, I used the same rules here for every chapter: 100 words exactly, every line has the same word count, every drabble is also an acrostic poem.

Chapter 1: Grandpa

Chapter Text

Forever is a fool’s errand, but it’s in your blood to keep pace with time. When clouds drift over town, start drifting. When the tide

Ebbs, flows, be malleable. Cave mouths, cicadas, cobblestone streets, minds, souls, collected like rainwater in the basin. I left some of myself behind. It’s yours.
