Aya and Mitsuki had been waiting for this day for months but finally the time had come, it was the day of the Twenty One Pilots concert. At first they thought they couldn’t go because they didn’t manage to get tickets when the sales opened but luckily Joe got two tickets as a gift because of the store and he gave it to them.
Mitsuki was on her way to Aya’s house as they had agreed to go to the venue by bus. She was wearing an outfit inspired by Torchbearer while Aya would be wearing one inspired by Clancy (this was Aya’s idea of course).
When she got there she rang the bell and after a bit Aya opened the door.
"Hi babe" Mitsuki said and stepped closer to Aya to give her a short kiss. "You ready?"
"Yeah, let's go" Aya closed the door behind her and took Mitsuki's hand in hers.
They walked to the bus stop and got on while talking about what songs could be on the set list- neither of them had checked it before hand cause they didn't want spoilers. After getting off they made it into the venue with enough time for them to get some of the merch- they each got a shirt and Mitsuki also bought a cap. Then they made it to their seats and at that moment Aya realised something.
“Oh my god oh my god that’s where Josh is going to be later” Aya said almost jumping up and down from happiness.
“Wait you’re right” Mitsuki said with a huge smile on her face looking at Aya.
Aya came closer to her and placed a kiss on her cheek. “Come on let’s take a photo before it starts” Mitsuki nodded and took her phone out to take the pictures- Aya had designated her as the selfie taker between them some time ago.
As the start of the show came closer the stadium filled up with fans and suddenly all the lights turned off. Everyone started screaming and the first notes to Overcompensate started playing.

Mitsuki and Aya were having the time of their lifes. They sang every lyric from the top of their lungs- from Vignette, to The Line, to Doubt. But then it came the turn of Paladin Strait. It was one their favorites from the new album and just by the end of the song yellow petals started falling all throughout the stadium.
In that moment all Mitsuki and Aya could do was admire the sight in front their eyes and feel the music. After a few seconds Aya closed her eyes falling deep into the moment feeling the petals fall all around her.
Mitsuki looked to her side and saw her, with her eyes closed and a huge smile on her lips and it felt like falling in love once again. She took Aya's hand in hers and placed a kiss on it- a kiss that meant more than any words she could say.
Aya opened her eyes when she felt Mitsuki's kiss and turned around to look at her. When she saw her she could not help but smile and placed her hand in Mitsuki's cheek rubbing her thumb against her skin. She instantly leaned into the touch closing her eyes. Aya could not help it anymore and stepped closer to Mitsuki closing the gap between them with a kiss. Mitsuki answered putting her hands around Aya's waist bringing her closer.
When they pulled apart both of them smiled while looking at each others eyes.
"I love you" Aya whispered.
"I love you too" Mitsuki answered.
Aya gave her a quick peck on the lips and turned back around to sing the song, not without first taking Mitsuki's hand and intertwining their fingers.

When the concert came to an end they made their way out of the stadium and started to walk to the bus station still being in shock about everything that just happened.
"Okay that was maybe the best concert I've ever been to" said Aya.
"It's up there for me too, that was insane like I don't even know where to start, the transition from Nico and the Niners to Heavydirtysoul? Insane."
"No and the jacket moment? I don't even want to talk about that."
"Don't even mention it, oh and Lavish? Funniest and gayest thing I have ever witnessed and that's coming from me"
While they were busy laughing at Mitsuki's last comment suddenly Aya felt a drop fall on her face. One drop became two and then rain started to pour over them.
"Really?! Now? It's not even supposed to be raining it's July!" Aya said frustrated trying to cover her head with her bag but failing as the rain was too strong.
Mitsuki was also fruitlessly trying to cover herself looking around for a place to take cover until it stopped, then she saw the porch of a building not too far from where they were.
"There! Come on" She took Aya's hand and started running towards it.
When they made it, they stayed there waiting for a while but unluckily for them the rain didn't seem like it was stopping anytime soon
"Okay we have been waiting here for like ten minutes I think we should just run we can make it" said Mitsuki taking Aya's bag from the floor where she left it.
"Are you insane? We're gonna be soaking by the time we get to the bus" Aya said looking at her like she had lost her mind.
"It's okay if we're fast enough we'll be fine" She took Aya's hand like she did earlier. "Ready?" she said looking at her.
"Yeah sure what other choice do I have" Aya shrugged and sighed.
"Okay. On my count. 1, 2, go!"
They started running as fast as they could but the rain was not forgiving as they were already soaking wet just after 2 minutes of running.
"This was such a stupid idea!" Aya said while trying to keep her laugh in.
"Well I never said it was smart!" Mitsuki said laughing.
Both of them just burst out in laughs and stopped running. Once they calmed down they found themselves looking at each other under the rain. Mitsuki stepped closer to Aya rubbing her thumb over Aya's knuckles- they hadn't let go in all that time. With her other hand she tucked back the hairs that were falling over her face just admiring her. Aya smiled at the gesture and muttered a soft "Thanks".
Finally, Mitsuki pulled her in by the nape and kissed her. The scene looked like it came out of a movie. A kiss under the rain at night with the light from the street pole hitting them just in the right way. They both smiled in the middle of the kiss before pulling apart.
"We should get going or we're going to miss the last bus" said Mitsuki.
Aya nodded and they continued their path to the bus stop but now they were walking as they didn't care anymore about getting wet.
Later, when they made it to Aya's place Mitsuki ended up staying the night after Aya's mom insisted saying that if she kept going she was going to get sick and let's just say that it didn't really matter because both them woke up sick nonetheless, but to them it all had been more than worth it.
