Forgivness Is Not For Sale

Summary:

Evil AU - Eiden is transported to an alternative universe where his evil self severed the contracts with the clan members, causing them to lose not only their gemstones, but their power and humanity. Can Eiden escape the Klein Hell he has found himself in? Or will the corrupted clan members use him as their new toy?

Notes:

I came up with this idea in a Discord I was in. Unfortunately, that meant that someone could steal my idea and make art work of it without asking and without crediting me. After over a week of me raging about this and thinking if I should continue with this fic or not, I've decided I'm not going to let that cunt stop me from doing this. So, I'll let it slide and be thankful I didn't give away *too much* information, although sadly, I had said too much in that place. I recently let my frustration be known that I wasn't happy about the art work using my idea, but was told it was my fault for not setting boundaries (which I thought it was basic human decency to not use someone else's ideas without asking first, but apparently it's not) The title also fits how I feel about this whole situation. But, lesson learned: trust no one and never tell anyone anything until you've done something with it yourself first! If you think someone is your friend, they're not.

Chapter 1: Severed Contracts, Severed Parts

Chapter Text

Darkness had covered the once bright sky of Klein. Blood coated the cobbled streets of the city centre. Groans and cries of agony filled the surrounding area. The corpses of many innocent bystanders that were unfortunate enough to get in the way were left scattered without a second thought.

Two of the men that were left alive were holding onto their ears that had been torn away. A dark haired snake yokai, sobbing uncontrollably while holding onto his left ear.

An ashen haired youth feeling for his right ear while holding onto the decapitated head of the small wolf yokai, while frantically looking around for his body. A small owl cooed indicating the body was on the other end of the street, but he knew he couldn’t move over while being watched by the one who wanted them all dead.

A red haired leader, with tanned skin growled while covering his right eye, glaring at the one responsible for this massacre. He felt a nudge from his little leoger, and pulled him close to his side as if to keep him safe.

A sombre looking purple haired fox yokai, sat hunch on the floor, allowing his left eye to bleed out. Almost looking as if he’d given up on life.

The light blue haired Vice-Captain of the knights let out a gasp of pain, pressing the nub of his missing left hand against his chest, while reaching for his rapier with his right. But his energy levels had been depleted and with no essence running through his body, he was unable to find the strength to grip on to his weapon.

The blonde hair forest guardian had lost his entire right arm trying to fight against the force that tore his gemstone from the back of his hand. A motionless white creature lay curled up on his thigh, he didn’t have it in him to check if he was still alive or not.

He looked over towards the priest, his once kind, bright eyes dulled. His light green hair coated in blood that pooled around his body. He pressed down on the wound on his stomach, trying to push his entrails back inside of him.

The lifeless e-droid remained slumped by the fountain. His core brutally removed his chest, leaving him unable to function.

“Why?” The Vice-Captain spoke, his voice cracking. “WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS?!”

A crooked smile appeared on the brown haired youth’s face. The gemstones of all of the clan members floated above his palm awaiting their fate.

“I no longer require your services.” He said with a shrug.

“You didn’t have to sever our contracts!” The grey haired clan member roared, slowly standing up from the floor. “You knew what it would to all of us!”

His previous master laughed as dark purple smoke circulated around the gemstones causing them to shatter. The men all stared in disbelief, seeing the sparkling jewels being reduced to nothing.

“I never cared if you lived or died.” He smirked. “You’re free to go back to your life, Joleon.”

The slits in his green eyes shrank hearing his real name being spoken out loud. His gritted his teeth, reading his stance for an attack. “You-!”

“Rei, don’t!” A strong hand from the red head, landed on his shoulder, pulling his back. “You don’t have the strength for this.”

A dark cackle from the villain filled the streets, as he removed his own gemstone from around his neck.

“Too right, Lord Jackass. None of you do.” He chuckled.

His body began to vanish and his necklace slipped from his grasp, shattering on the floor.

Silence filled the air until an unbearable scream escaped the snake yokai’s mouth.

“Yakumo?” The Vice-Captain asked. His eyes widened, a mix of concern and terror.

Yakumo’s mouth began to split. A long black pitch fork tongue slipped out of his lips, lapping up the blood dripping from his jawline. Red scales covered the side of his face and trailed down his neck. His finger nails darkened and grew into long, sharp points.

“I won’t forgive him for thisss.” He hissed, his eyes glowing a deep blood red colour.

Black smoke surrounded the now half serpent causing him to vanish.

“Don’t-” But the blue haired knight knew it was useless. With the serpent yokai gone, and three of the other clan members out of commission the others looked around the destroyed street.

The stench of death in the air. Buildings mostly burned to the ground with whoever was locked inside incinerated.

The priest tried to stand but cried out, falling back down. The blonde haired forest guardian crawled to his side and pressed his hand down over his wound as if to use healing magic.

He grunted and shook his head. “I can’t-”

“It’s not your fault Mr Quincy.” The priest smiled weakly. “I knew the risks when I tried to stop him.”

After checking on the Sun Lord's eye, the Vice-Captain ran over to them. Leaving the little leoger to take care of him.

“Your Holiness, don’t move. I’ll get someone to help. There must be someone still around who can still heal you.”

“Oh Sir Edmond, how about you to see to your hand first?” The priest smiled.

“It’s not like it can be saved. But you can. Now stay put.” He said with a stern look his sapphire eyes.

Rei knelt beside the headless corpse of the fallen wolf pup, tears of fury burning the back of his eyes.

He span around hearing footsteps behind him. “And where do you think you’re going?” He snapped, seeing the fox yokai slowly shuffling away from the scene.

“Where else?” He shrugged. “There’s nothing left here.”

Purple fox fire spread from his feet to the rest of his body. Once it had enveloped him he was no longer to be seen.

Rei grunted and shook his head, seeing the flames vanish. “Not that we needed his help anyway.” He gently scooped up the young boy’s body and placed it on his shoulder while keeping the severed head in his other hand.

“Hey, big guy, can you give me a hand with the e-droid?” He asked.

Quincy looked up, still holding the little white animal in his hand. “Want help buying them?”

“No. I have no intention to bury them.” Rei scoffed. “I’m going to bring them back. And then, we’ll have our revenge on the Grand Sorcerer.”
