Chapter Text
Peter was awoken by a loud clash outside his bedroom,
Already starting the day with chaos and he doesn't even remember when or how he got home.
"May! Are you okay!?" Peter jumped out of the bed and ran into the kitchen, where May was standing unfortunately surrounded by pots and pans that had fallen out of the cupboard below, luckily unharmed "Oh im alright! Dont worry sweetie, the pans had fallen out on their own when I opened the cupboard." She kneeled down to put the pots back "Here, let me help you." Peter went on his knees to help put everything back.
"Awh you thank you sweetie, but how about you go get dressed for school. I'll be fine." She insisted, and before Peter had a chance to protest she shooed him away through their small apartment and into his room. Peter complied with what he was tasked and got dressed, now all he had to do was eat, wash up and brush his teeth and wait. Peter exited his room, all nice and tidy, by the time he had finished getting dressed May had cleaned up and two freshly made pancakes were sitting on a plate with five strips of bacon laying neatly on top.
Peter sat down at the table, sitting across from Aunt May as May ate her breakfast together in a comfortable silence, nothing they had to talk about until May spoke up the moment Peter was gonna go clean off his plate "Oh honey! Your going to stay over at Tonys tomorrow, your going to visit a day early because I have to work late. So Happy will pick you up from school tomorrow just like he does on Fridays and you'll be with him till Monday." May wiped her mouth clean as she spoke, the napkin getting nearly trenches in maple syrup as she was rushing to eat fast so she could get to work on time.
"What about our movie night?" Peter tried to hide the sadness in his voice that creeped up at nearly any minor inconvenience, some didn't notice, some did, some pointed it out, He gets annoyed when they point it out. It's like his mood just flips whenever someone tells him they have to cancel plans for whatever reason. Not that Peter doesn't understand that May has to work late, he just likes spending time with her
"Oh honey I'm sorry? How about I take you out to the movies next week to make up for it? We can buy some popcorn and drinks and just have a nice bonding time, hm?" She gave him a gentle smile that would make anyones child run into her arms no doubt, but not Peter he just smiled back "No need May, I can watch a movie with the Starks, it's not your fault."
"Thanks for understanding, I gotta get to work now. I larb you..!"
"Larb you too!" Then the door shut. And Peter was alone, he WAS alone, but not anymore, he'll never be alone again, and he was glad for that.

Peter thought about this morning all the way to school and into class, that way until he bumped into someone. Flash.
"Watch where your going Penis Parker!" He shoved Peter back "Yeah Yeah Sorry." Peter attempted to continue making his way to close before Flash blocked his path
"Just let me get to class." Peter spoke, a little louder then intended which caused a couple eyes to look towards the two "Awhhh is little Parker gonna whine because he's gonna miss his home room?"
Peter felt heat rising in his chest, why was he so angry? Was it because May had to work late? Because he had a rough patrol the other night? Wait , did he? It's all a blur. Whatever, he just needs to get to class "Out of my wa" before Peter is able to even think or impulsively escalate the situation, his Girlfriend MJ steps beside Peter "Buzz off Flash, Just because your so dumb you decide to always miss your home room doesn't mean also you have a right to MAKE him miss his." She lands a hand on her shoulder, it was gentle, smooth and caused a gentle blush to appear on his face along with Pete's smile of gratitude towards Mj only growing wider when he notices his (ex-crush) bestfriend Ned is trialli ng behind her
Flash rolls his eyes, scoffing "Need your girlfriend to defend you huh? Whatever Penis catch you in 2nd period." He walls past Peter in a opposite direction, purposely bumping shoulders with Peter before Ned makes his way beside Pete himself.

Peters day goes on like normal, He is able to survive second period alone with Flash after one or two snarky comments and or threats..and quickly meets with his friends,Ned, Mj or people he gets along with even somewhat in his other classes alllll the way till Lunch.
Peter sat with his two friends, little racket of the cafeteria drown out and instead focus on MJ and Ned "I heard we have some cool field trip scheduled next week!" Ned announced "I overheard the teachers talking in the lounge." He said as he stuffed his face with the cold left over pizza from Fridays lunch
"You overheard or you purposely listened in?" Mj rose a eyebrow, digging into her homemade lunch as her parents despise what the school serves
" Okay doesn't matter, point is...we are gonna get a cool field trip! I heard our grade was selected, so it's only our class going!" Ned grinned cheerfully, a piece of cheese laying on his top lip from the pizza
"Okay just how much did you listen in..But thanks for telling us Neddie." She bit into her apple despite the neatly hot and freshly made lunch from this morning sitting in a container on a table right beside her.
Peter giggled along, acknowledging the conversation his friends are having "Did you hear anything us Ned?" Ned shook his head in no ones direction in particular
"Unfortunately not Petey..the teachers caught me and sent me away." Ned Mimicked a tear drop falling from his eye as he put on a big frown
MJ playfully rolled her eyes as she bit into her apple, Peter laughed in response

Finally the bell rang for dismissal, the hallways filled with chatter as students rushed to their lockers, rushing to get home from school before they get anymore home sick.
Peter however has different plans..like usual, he made his was to a alleyway and got into his suit that was freshly cleaned, nice and warm as it fades into spring.
Later, Peter was sitting on the edge of a rooftop for most of the night looking for anything interesting, he had stopped a quick pick pocketer, webbed him up to the wall after returning the belongings to their original owner, got a free hotdog after some kid tried to snag one from the stand when the owner was busy waving at spiderman from afar.
Something had caught his eye tho, nothing criminal, just a little girl walking the streets safe and unharmed, she looked familiar tho.
Peter had saved her as spiderman before, she was hurt on the sidewalk after tripping and Peter gave her a band aid annd cleaned her up, afterwards returning her to her home. Apparently her name was Morgan, she was sweet and held onto his pinky as he walked her home a couple weeks ago. Peter watched her for a bit but then eventually swung away.
And that's all he did, he was still sitting on the rooftop as the sunset, munching on his hotdog still.
Peter Parker eventually swung home tho, landing flat on his bed the moment he did, the house was quiet and May heard him come in, calling out for him. But eventually something dark and foggy like filled his vision and he fell asleep right after leaving a quick note that he already ate.
