Work Text:
Seimei hummed a song while holding the twins in his arms. "Seimei!!" Two little boys called after him.
"Byakko, Tensei," greeted the older boy. Byakko insisted on carrying the groceries, while Tensei raised his little hands, asking to be picked up too.
"Tensei, get down!!" complained Byakko.
Haruaki woke up and met Tensei's dark gaze. "You..." It was unusual for Haruaki to hate someone; it was rare for the adorable Haru to dislike someone.
"Why are you crying?!" Tensei tried to touch Haruaki's head, but Amaaki, instinctively, hit Tensei's forehead hard, nearly causing him to fall, causing Seimei to lose his balance. Two hands caught him. "Are you okay?" Kurahashi Yuuta looked at him calmly.
"Sei-niii," Tensei greeted him with a mischievous smile.
The younger twin of the Abe family rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here?" Tensei laughed as he opened the refrigerator. "This isn't your house," Haruaki shouted.
Tensei shouted a "Bye, Mom-aki," as he ran after the twins. Amaaki furrowed his eyebrows, noticing how Haruaki quickened his pace. Haruaki definitely didn't like Tensei.
Tensei's senpai, two years their senior, was known for being a rather daring writer.
Interestingly, he got along quite well with Seimei, always trailing behind him like a puppy chasing him; just like Byakko, although at least the latter didn't spend 24 hours a day in the house.

"This is love. Loveee," Tensei crooned as he headed into the dining room.
"Does he think he's an idol?" Haruaki thought, watching the smile Tensei was giving the troubled individual. "Here..." he said; as he turned around, the boy was hit by a splatter of paint.
How should I interpret your actions, really? Are you angry, furious, you say? Because Tensei had to be so weird, using strange words!!
Really, this guy...? Haruaki felt his face heat up, or was it just his imagination? Tensei turned around, really? "Oh, Haru, heeee," he greeted him, with such exaggeration? To Haruaki's embarrassment? Was he really that shy? And did he really not have many friends? All because of Tensei? Had his hope of having friends really ended?
"Hey," he murmured. Tensei approached him and gently touched his shoulder. They both sat in the dining room. Tensei watched Haruaki eat enthusiastically, feeling a surge of tenderness through his puffed cheeks. Although he didn't dare express it out loud, he was afraid Haruaki would be upset.
Why does Haruaki keep him at a distance? He has a deep affection for Haruaki.
Haruaki should also reciprocate his feelings.
Why can't they connect their hearts?
"Ah, Haru, I've been looking for you!!" Amaaki quickly ran toward them! Haruaki smiled for the first time! "Why aren't you smiling at me too?!" Tensei pouted.
"You're mean, Haru!" The two twins looked at Tensei, who, with an offended face, grabbed the burger! "He's forgotten his manners, he's left his utensils behind!" Haruaki looked serious. Amaaki sighed in relief: at least Tensei won't embarrass him!

One ordinary afternoon, at the Abe house, they were doing holiday chores. Haruaki was doing the remaining chores, which were few. Seimei stood there, looking at him seriously. His older brother showed no mercy.
Amaaki snorted, waving his shirt. "Hey, big brother, is Ebisu coming to see me?!"
Seimei didn't flinch, pointing out which chores he still had to complete.
How unfair, you wicked older brother!
Ebisu will get really angry if he doesn't keep the date. Amaaki wants to run away. But seeing Haru doing his homework so carefully, Amaaki can't abandon him.
"By the way, where's Tensei?" Amaaki asked. Haruaki pricked up his ears; he was curious too. He already thought something was missing.
"Tensei, he's sick!"
"He gets sick too?!" After saying that, Amaaki was hit by the ruler.

The knock on his door echoed. Who the hell would be coming at this hour? Tensei snuggled further into his bed.
What if Seimei had come to visit him?
He got up quickly, albeit lazily. He looked at himself in the mirror, flashing a happy smile. He wanted to show himself happy to see his brilliant half-breed brother.
"Sei-nii..." he fell silent. He could identify the Abe brothers. "Sei-nii?" The person in front of him, with a serious expression, was Haruaki. Tensei knew that expression well; Haruaki only showed it to him.
Haruaki entered the room. Tensei didn't say anything, no way, he does the same. But the idea of being alone with Haruaki didn't appeal to him at all. Right now, he's weak and vulnerable, and he didn't want Haruaki to see him like that; he'd hate him even more.
"Here!" Haruaki threw the medicine on the table. Could it be that touching him disgusted him that much?
Tensei wanted to smile at him mischievously, as always. But he didn't have the strength; he was too tired. He thought Haruaki would leave at any moment, that he had only come on Seimei's orders.
Everything happened so fast. When he tried to take the medicine, he felt like he couldn't take it anymore, that he was about to faint. Haruaki's image blurred. "Because Haruaki is getting closer..." Tensei thought. Tensei's lips parted as Haruaki pushed the pill into his mouth with a finger. "Thank you!" Tensei murmured. As he reached for the bottle, Haruaki drank it and joined his lips with his, transferring the water into Tensei's mouth, who swallowed with difficulty. Tensei's tongue met Haruaki's.
It was abrupt; the adorable Haruaki was behaving wildly. Tensei shuddered. "You really hate me, Haru."
"Rest..." was the last thing Tensei heard as he drifted off to sleep.
He snuggled even closer into the chest of the person holding him. Tensei rested his face against Haruaki's neck, whose cheeks were flushed despite everything that had happened.
bonus:
Ebisu crosses his arms, looking angrily at his boyfriend. "So your adorable Haru ran away and left you doing the chores alone, but you preferred not to come to the date, so as not to abandon Haru, but he did.."
"Hey Haru didn't abandon me!!, he just had things to do!!
Oh, how Ebisu wanted to hit that guy...but oh well...Ebisu sighs "next time you'll do everything I say..." Amaaki quickly accepted
