Ah, welcome back, see you are back again. This story will be different from what we saw so far, a bit of fun.
The cafe is empty tonight, close to closing time for the employees tonight.
“So what movie do you guys want to see tonight?” Colin asks while eating a cookie to the 3 other people there.
“Um, it is close to the spooky season. Do you guys want to watch a spooky movie? It doesn't have to be a very scary movie.” Sajin suggested closing up the cafe with Nick helping.
“Hm sure man, who is it to host us or is it you guys?” Nick asked.
“It's our turn to host this time so you guys are bringing snacks.” Brent says to Colin and Nick.
“Heh got it man.” Colin says to Brent finishing up his cookie and cleaning up.
After the quartet had finished closing up they split up in duos and went back to their respective apartments. After an hour Colin and Nick went to Brent and Sajin's apartment with snacks.
“Hey open up, the snacks are here!” Nick said while holding 2 small bags while Colin also holding 2 small bags.
“Hey! Welcome to our humble abode!” Sajin said letting the other two in.
“Hey man, what type of Halloween movies do you guys have out?” Colin asks.
“Well we have Netfilx. Do you guys want to do a movie marathon or only watch one?” Brent asks after he listed them off the top of head.
“Propbly a marathon since thats more easier what do you guys think?” Nick asked while putting the snacks on the table.
“Hmm, sure.” Sajin agrees while setting up the tv.
“Ok we can do that. Do you guys have extra blankets and pillows?” Colin asked, helping Nick with the snacks.
“Yeah we do, I get them, you guys can pick the first movie we can watch.” Brent said getting more blankets and pillows.
The trio went to pick the first movie as the popcorn was being made.
“Alright, then you guys want to pick a movie and “rock-papers-scissors" for it?” Sajin suggests.
“That's fine by me, I chose “Nightmare before Christmas”!” Colin said
Nick chose “Addams Family” and Sajin chose “Monster House”. As Brent came back with the blankets and pillows the trio did a quick three-way “rock-paper-scissors” game, best to 3. After a while Sajin won the game.
“Aw man! I was so close!” Nick said while sitting next to Brent grabbing some popcorn out the bowl and eating some.
“Heh well it was not close enough!” Sajin said while setting up the movie.
“Whats this movie about? I don't think I watch this one?” Colin asked while getting snacks from the table and going on the couch.
“Its basically about 3 children investigating a living house.” Sajin explained
“Ok then.” Colin said
After a few hours and halfway through a different movie the popcorn ran out.
“Dang, the popcorn ran out.” Brent said holding the bowl he went up to get more.
“Can you also grab some water for me?” Nick asked
“Yeah sure!” Brent agrees as he goes to make popcorn and grabs a bottle then his phone rings.
“Hey Eevee! How is it going?” Brent greets the caller.
“Heyo Brent! Just finished with the night shift and wanted to know if you are still awake.” Eevee replied.
“Yeah me, Nick, Colin, and Sajin are just doing a movie marathon night.” Brent replied back
“Nice, what movie are you guys on right now?” Eevee asked.
“Right now we are watching “Coraline”” Brent answers back.
“Neat, hey is it okay if me and Vern join you guys?” Eevee asked.
“Hmm, let me ask the others real quick and get back to you” Brent replied.
“Sure I wait” Eevee replied back.
Brent set his phone down and went to the living room to ask the others.
“Hey, do you guys mind if Eevee and Vern come over?” Brent asked.
“Hm sure the more the marrier.” Nick answered.
“Hmm ok can we invite Bail and Tak if they are there with them?” Sajian asked back.
“Yeah sure it's ok” Colin answered as well.
“Sure.” Brent agreed and went back to the kitchen.
“Ok Eevee, they said yes and can you ask Tak and Bail if they are there?” Brent asks.
“Hm, sure man it at yours and Sajin place right? Eevee then asks back.
“Yep! Just knock when you get here.” Brent answers.
“Hmhm! Bye Brent, see you later!” Eevee said.
“See you later Eevee.” Brent said before ending the call.
Brent grabbed the popcorn and water bottles and went back to the living room and continued to watch the movie. After half an hour a knock on the door was heard.
“I will get it this time.” Colin said while getting up and going to the door as Sajin paused the movie.
“Hey, welcome guys. Snacks are table!” Colin greets everyone.
“Hey, man!” “Hello!” “Heyo” “Whats up!” The guests said before coming in.
“Hey guys.” “Hey.” “Hi.” The trio in the living room greets them.
“What movie are you guys on?” Vern asked while going to sit next to Nick.
“We’re on Corpse Bride right now” Nick answers as Sajin unpauses the movie.
Colin went back to sit next to Sajin, while Sophist and Tak went to sit on the floor with pillows and blankets that the others gave. Bail went on the recliner on the side and as everyone was watching movies one by one they all fell asleep.
