Calliope
Clown & Kaboodle
Slim, lithe design, yet durable armour. Excessive articulation. Legs enhanced for jumping ability.
Heavily customized, mostly black, red, and white. Smile and cross eyes ports. Bunny ears have been implemented with Kaboodle’s introduction.
Main weapon is a sword/scythe
Clown is an OG pilot. He used to be partnered with Branzy. More recently he’s been found Drift Compatible with Kaboodle.
Kaboodle is a new pilot, but she’s found to be very skilled. Skilled enough to be considered for Calliope’s more difficult controls.
Sibling!!! connection.
Knight
Minute & Jumper
Classic design, jet black with pink highlights. Stealth Jaeger.
Silent engine, aero/hydro dynamic.
First on scene when a Kajiku is detected. Swords, sticky bombs (pink), hook and chain feature to grab and hold foe.
Minute is one of the current heads of command of the Rangers.
Jumper has a foot in the psychological research field. Specialising in Drift and Drift Compatibility.
Childhood friends connection. Grew up together, survived the Kajiku, Abyss, attack together.
Mutiny
Zam & Wemmbu
Nuclear powered yellow and purple nightmare. Nicknamed Eyesore.
Rocket powered, capable of extreme jumps. Thinner set, more defence put into protecting itself from impacts it causes.
Twin gauntlets. Made for smashing down at full strength. Extra rockets and explosives, able to be shot or held onto to increase punching power.
Zam and Wemmbu are both born of the first iteration of those fighting the Kajiku. (Royalty in this world lol)
Get along like a house on fire. In both the compatible sense and the destructive sense. No one can tell why they haven’t killed each other yet or bought BFF bracelets.
Caecus
Mane & Flame
Another more classic design. Caecus needs nothing flashy to get the job done.
Custom lion/tiger paint on each side of the hull. The visor looks like a blindfold.
Armoured, primary sword weapon. Extra claw traps available. Designed to hook and hold. Prevent the Kajiku from escaping their grasp.
Brothers, most in sync duo. People swear that they even blink in unison. They street fight to keep in shape.
Caecus has the second most kills, behind Calliope.
Glitch
Squiddo & Ash
One of the fastest, and lightest Jaeger. Dark hull fitted with multiple layers of light apparatus.
Glitch can blind, hypnotize and disorient Kajiku with a multitude of lights, lenses, and sonic attacks.
Claw like hands, built to slash and stab through flesh. One of the least armored Jaegers.
Romantic partners, strong Drift Connection.
Ash was a former business man. Squiddo was hired to make marketing campaign art for his company. They found each other in the midst of a Kajiku attack. Inseparable since.
Crashout
Bacon & Hannah
Portable turret. Machine gun/ missile launched based Jaeger. Best built for close shore combat.
Forearm blades, hands full of sticky bombs. Dives in, sticks the beast with explosives and blasts them out to sea.
Tanky, capable of hunkering down to withstand their own firepower. Ranging more towards heavily armoured.
Newest Ranger team. Still adjusting to Drifting. Close friends, but only met through the program. Bonded over their determination and ferocity. Hence their designation to Crashout.
Junker
Spoke & Mapicc
Custom built Jaeger built by Spoke and Mappic themselves.
Think Scrapper style. Smaller Jaeger, with more unusual features. Painted black with rainbow highlights. Red visor.
Extra arms and attachments, compartments with various tools to assist. Claw hands built for crawling up holding on. Sets traps in the path, or on foe. Electrical whip/grabbling hook attachments.
Spoke and Mapicc are two of the youngest pilots, but severely respected for their ability to build their own Jaeger. They spent years on it, then made their debut by taking out a Kajiku coming for their home city.
Oversees the updates and customization of other Jaegers.
Stronghold
Derapchu & Pangi
Most armoured Jaeger ever made. Built to be virtually indestructible.
Unmovable object.
Darker red with blue paint over war wounds. Kintsugi. (Fixing pottery with gold.) Symbolizes every attack Stronghold survives.
Built to lock and immobilize Kajiku for dispatch. Feet like that of tornado chaser vehicles and sink into the ground and hold. The body can lock up as well.
Equipped with missiles, plasma cannon, and Anchors.
Anchors are tech specialized to Stronghold. Large bear trap-like devices that clamp, hold and drag the Kajiku down. Stronghold has long lengths of chain to further assist this motive.
(I saw pangolins are heavily armoured anteaters essentially and ran with it)
Similar to Crashout, Derapchu and Pangi met through the training program. They weren’t originally considered to be Drift partners, but they chose to test it out. Found a deep friendship and bond. They’ve been each other’s rock since then.
