Work Text:

"What if we went out to town and just kill all of them?"

'Oh no, what have I done?'

"Uhm, I don't- What happened to you?" Drift was stunned and understandably so. Avid was siding with the humans yesterday and now talking about killing them now, that was a big difference.

"So, I don't think that would end well solely because they have managed to take out Pyro for a bit. So-" Scot disagreed and he's right it wasn't favorable to us right now. But Avid cut him off. "It's just Pyro. They keep battering Pyro back and forth. He's chaotic. He's disorganized. We organize a push. Doesn't have to be today, but we do it all in one sweep. We just clean them out." He sounded confident and had this manic look in his eyes one I couldn't ignore.

"I think we do that." Apo seemed to side with Avid's plan.

"What changed that made you want to kill them all of a sudden?"

Those words came out of my mouth were sudden, but it felt right. What happened to cause such a change? Was it after turned him into a vampire or was it when I made the decision to give him this gift? Was it my fault? But those words gut stuck in my throat because I know in some way this is my fault.

"Seriously?" Drift was right this came so sudden especially since he just recently got bitten.
Scot raised a brow from Avid's strange behavior. "Yeah, where's this come from?"
"I don't know. It's just kind of the more I eat, the more I feel so good and just I don't know. It just feels right." Avid sounded so happy, how could I ever take that happiness from him?

Everything just went blurry after that. The conversation continued but my head wasn't in it. I want to ask to him more about what changed, why did he think that way and why did he just let this go far?... But the words were stuck in my throat.

Nothing cures problems like food or so the saying goes. She turns herself into a bat to find animals to hunt. She continues to fly but she forgot she has a timer for how long she can fly so as she plummets down from the skies she fell into a deep lake in the pale forest. She's drowning she knows she needs to move up but her body feels heavy it's like something is pulling her down.

She knows won't die permanently but she's too tired and it's hard to move. She'll probably float up soon anyway after all she has all eternity to wait. The night is quiet maybe the humans are at the town finding more about the cure.

Charlie was just minding his own business driving his way down until he saw a body floating at the beach. So. like any normal human he drove fast and went to the beach. No one was there at the beach this evening so he couldn't find anyone that could help that's why he took of his coat and swam to the body and dragged them back to the coast.

When he got back to shore, he was coughing and sneezing the cold wind didn't help much. He looked back at the body and he was shocked to find them having white hair he took in their appearance they're wearing a small black cloak covering half of the ruffled blouse with a red vest and a golden brooch attached to it, she's also wearing black skirt with a golden strapped glasses in her pocket with red shoes, and most notably the black tiara with a ruby on top. Coming out of his stupor he immediately checked if she was still breathing. She was not and her body already felt cold, he immediately did CPR after 20 compressions she finally responded.

Shelby was coughing the water out of her system. 'Who? A human?!' Shelby was sure there were no other humans other than the people in town and this guy definitely did not look like he came from Oakhurst. She remembered that she was drowning in a lake and her body felt heavy.

'This guy definitely thought I was a human and drowning' She couldn't blame him though, anybody would be panic if they saw a floating body in the water. She sat up and took notice at her surroundings. It seems like she was at a beach 'Wait a beach?! I thought Owen said we couldn't leave Oakhurst?!'. The man finally spoke

"Hey, are you alright? Do you remember what happened to you?" he looked tense especially since he's looking at her eyes. Her eyes after all indicated that she was no longer human.

"I'm good... but I don't remember what happened. Actually, sir I want to ask where I am?" She could not look at him in the eyes, her stomach was in knots she was terrible liar Scot knew it, Owen knew it, and even Pyro but it seemed that the man didn't want to push further and thank goodness he didn't because she was going to crack under his stare.

"You're in Forks, Washington. I saw you in the water, you were drowning. We should get you to a hospital to check if there are any internal injuries. We can continue talking while I drive. Don't worry the Community Hospital is near here." The man helped Shelby up and took his coat from the ground.

She's practically wet all over and has no idea how she got out of Oakhurst. She should've stayed in the castle the others...
