Chapter Text
“Freddy!” Toy Freddy called. He was met only by the echo of his own voice. “Freddy!” He called again, making his way to the old main stage area. Still nothing. He huffed. Where could he be? I’ve already checked all his usual spots! Frustration gnawed at his belly. I guess I’ll have to- He was cut off from his thoughts by the sound of a snickering Bonnie, sitting at the only unbroken table with a very frustrated Toy Bonnie glaring at two cards. Oh! Maybe one of them knows where Freddy is! As Toy Freddy walked over, he could really hear Bonnie holding back laughter.
“Stop that!” Toy Bonnie said, shooting Bonnie a glare.
“Hey! Do you guys know where Freddy is?” Toy Bonnie only glanced at Toy Freddy, much more interested in trying to figure out those two cards. Bonnie was the one who answered.
“I think I saw him head to the security office” The security office? Oh no . . He sighed
“Thanks Bonnie”
Toy Freddy stepped into the hallway that lead to the security office, bracing himself for what he would find. In the distance he could see a flickering light streaming from a single doorway. As soon as he got within a couple feet from the security office that’s when he heard it. What he’d been dreading. Immediately, the sound of arguing hit his ears. Freddy and Molten were arguing again. Toy Freddy quietly crept up to the security office’s doorway—or well as quietly as a 200 pound animatronic could, they didn’t seem to hear him anyway, wrapped up in whatever shouting match they were having this time. Both animatronics were standing by the desk, Molten’s claws digging into it. The mangled animatronic towered over Freddy who was shrinking back.
“Look, I just don’t want us to get scrapped!” He shouted “If we don’t find someone willing to salvage us—“
“You’re an old model Freddy!” Molten snapped. Freddy’s face screwed up and he growled
“Well maybe some establishment would be desperate enough to take an old model!” Molten scoffed, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms.
“What, like Fazbender’s?”
“Well—! I’d like to see you come up with something better!” Freddy stammered, pointing at Molten.
“There isn’t anything better because there’s nothing. You. CAN. DO!” Molten said through gritted teeth, mere inches from Freddy’s face “You need to accept that you won’t ever be on a stage again!”
“I-“
Freddy’s shoulders slumped, his gaze dropping to the floor. Toy Freddy watched the sight with a saddened expression. Freddy wanted more than anything for them all to perform again, he hated that they had been abandoned. Freddy shoved Molten away.
“I don’t get why you’re so negative about this.”
“I’m just telling you the truth. There’s no point in any of this! You’re just running yourself into the ground” Freddy clenched his fists
“They already got Toy Chica!” He yelled. Molten stood silent for a moment.
“And who’s fault is that?” He said quietly, his single orange glowing eye boring into him.
Freddy froze.
“I’m trying to make up for it.” He said, his voice wavering.
“Like the billions of other times?” Was all Molten said before he walked away. He didn’t even notice Toy Freddy. Toy Freddy watched as Freddy slumped into the chair and sat at desk with his head in his hands. Maybe I should come back later
“Toy Bonnie! You can’t just flip the table over like that! We’re supposed to be staying quiet!”
Oh dear
As soon as Toy Freddy returned to the main stage area he was met with the sight of a flipped table and one very upset Bonnie. Toy Bonnie, however, seemed to not care one bit.
“Well, you’re not being very quiet now are you?” Toy Bonnie retorted, his hands on his hips. Bonnie bonked him in the head in response
“Ow!”
“Um-“ Toy Freddy said, very confused. “Oh! Toy Freddy, you’re back!” Bonnie said with worry in his gaze “I saw Molten come out from the hallway! I take it they were arguing again?”
“Yeah” Toy Freddy nodded “It got pretty bad . . T-they brought up Toy Chica . .” Both of the Bonnies gasped. Toy Chica had been a very loved member of the crew. She had been taken by humans when Freddy showed her the outside and was spotted.
“Seriously?!” Toy Bonnie said, ears twitching. “I thought it would be best to leave Freddy alone after that” Toy Freddy muttered, gripping his bow tie. They were silent after that. Toy Bonnie flipped the table right side up and placed it in its original spot, Bonnie grabbed the fallen chairs and sat them up again while Toy Freddy just stood fiddling nervously with his fingers.
Suddenly, a loud banging came from the boarded up entrance doors, startling all of them. Foxy came running from the hallway
“Run!” He screeched “Run! There are humans!”
“W-what?!” All three shout in fear. “Where’s Freddy?” Foxy shouts frantically.
“S-security Office!” Toy Freddy stammers “Then what are ye waitin for?! Run!” Foxy pushes Toy Freddy forward hurriedly as the others follow suit. They crash into the security office and into a very shook Freddy, grabbing him and dragging him out the door.
“What the?! Hey— what’s going on!?” He shrieks. They turn a corner, running past broken chairs and boards and the various party rooms.
“Humans!” Foxy yells.
“What?!”
“We’re going to the basement!” The sound of banging continues until the boards snap. Now the humans could come in. What if they found them? Would they all be scrapped?
