“IGGY!”, was the cry Iggy heard as he faced away from his latest invention as he turned to see the angry faces of his siblings. The most angry of the bunch seemed to be, of course, Ludwig as he stormed up to Iggy.
“What is wrong with you!” He shouted. “A lot, but since all of you are here I assume something happened?”. Ludwig looked at him with a scowl. Playing dumb irritates me and you know it, but since you need a refresher i’ll refresh you”. Crossing his arms Ludwig began to explain.
“For the past week you’ve been playing stupid irritating pranks! First you poked holes in all the food in the cabinets, and took bites out of everything in the fridge. Then you flooded the main room kitchen sink with water. Then you began messing with our rooms! I came to mine and found all the feathers of my pillows almost empty, not to mention the ruin that was my bookshelf. Wendy found some of her jewelry missing and wants them back. Lemmy’s bouncy balls were deflated. Larry’s stuff was all disorganized and left in bizarre places. We won’t even mention Roy’s room. And last but most aggravating you left holes in the wall in Morton’s room.” With huff Ludwig had let it all out, he looked calmer but none the less still upset. Iggy on the other hand had a horrified look on his face.
“Do you really truly believe that I would do crazy things like that?” He asked, and to Iggy's shock all of his siblings had a disapproving look on their faces. “We wouldn’t be in here if we didn't,” Wendy quipped.
“Well I didn’t” Iggy quickly quipped back, “You did, and we want our stuff back. You’ve done similar things in the past Iggy and you know we hate it, so just give us our stuff back and we won’t have any issues” Roy stated as he moved closer next to Ludwig, that started the charge as now all of Iggy's siblings surrounded him.
Iggy’s face grew from horrified to mortified. He knew first hand that his siblings don’t like extreme pranks, they all had already had a serious talk with him about it. So to hear them all think he would just go back on his words after promising to do better hurt him a little.
“Nn-no I’ve changed you all know this! I even spent a week making it up to you all. You guys know I wouldn’t do something like that, not again” He pleaded. The faces of his siblings though were not convinced.
“If not you then who? Iggy, no one else plays pranks in this household and no one else has done anything of a similar vein except you.” Ludwig said. “Junior!” Iggy shouted and jumped from the circle his siblings had formed around him. “Junior did this!” He shouted once more before running from his room and down the hall. His siblings, stunned, soon chased after him.
Meanwhile..
Junior was just sitting up in his room painting a portrait of him defeating the pesky Mario and gifting Peach to his father. Junior smiled to himself as he stared up at his masterpiece in awe. The moment was short lived however as the door was kicked down just as he started to add his signature.
“You!” Iggy tried to shout with fury, though he mainly sounded crazy. This did the trick though as Junior stumbled back in fright. It was gone in a flash though as he charged up to Iggy. “What gives you the right to just barge into my room like this!” He shouted, “I have a right when you mess with our siblings and I get blamed” He stated.
Junior gave him a look, “I haven’t done anything! I’ve been painting” he then motioned to his new painting. Iggy gave it a once over. “Looks good but not the point, point is you need to fess up”
Just then the rest of the koopalings had caught up to him. This time Lemmy was the one who stepped up to talk. “Look Iggy you’re doing too much, you don’t need to blame Junior”, Iggy was starting to become manic. He turned and stared directly at his siblings
“You all are way smarter than this! I can’t have done any of the stuff you claimed I did! You especially Ludwig you should know better” he was frantic.
Ludwig gave him a sad look. “The only other way someone could have done this is if they had broken in. Do you think someone could have broken in?” Ludwig asked point blank
A light bulb went off in Iggy's head. “Give me a week! No 3 days and I’ll prove to you that I didn’t do this. Give me a chance to prove myself!” He pleaded. His siblings didn’t look too convinced.
“If I can’t prove I didn’t do this I’ll be at your boding for 2 months” he added, that did the trick and with a sigh he was ushered by Wendy out of Juniors room.
Iggy bounced his way back to his room. He needed to think of something. He only had a limited amount of time to prove to his siblings he didn’t do anything. He had no proof but he was nothing if not creative and he would think of something to prove he didn’t do anything.
Just as he was thinking he opened the door to his room and the sight before him was a shock.
When he had left he had been adding a new modification to his staff to increase both its power levels and shoot lasers!
He was still working on it, yet the sight before him was a completed version of his invention. He carefully touched the wand and inspected it closer. No mistakes had been made
I’m so fucked.

It had been three days since Iggy had proclaimed he would prove he didn’t do anything, but so far he has no proof and has only been getting more and more infuriated by the day
He had been trying so many tricks. First he had set up traps all around the castle, ordering the troops to stand on guard at all times. Yet nothing had happened, the traps lay the same as to when Iggy had sent them up the first time. In fact since he had told his siblings he would prove he hadn’t been doing anything that everything just seemed to have stopped.
No more chaos. In fact everything seemed more peaceful than it was before. Iggy was going to have to pull an all-nighter if he wanted to figure this situation out.
It’s not like anything could be in the walls. Something then snapped and a light bulb from the top of his room fell down and shattered on the ground. Iggy shrieked.
—------
Roy covered his ears at the sudden noise. Ugh, he hoped Iggy would chill out soon. He personally had already forgiven him for the pranks he pulled and he knew the others would soon. While it isn’t like Iggy to break a promise since it was his first offence he’d let slide. If it happened again though he was gonna kick Iggy’s ass.
Thinking of slides Roy licked his lips as he continued his way to the kitchen so he could enjoy some slider sandwiches Lemmy had made the day before. He had tried a new sauce that just made the whole thing taste amazing. He turned the corner, saw some purple thing and swung the fridge open and pulled out the plate….
He turned around, plate in hand. On the side of the sink was a really and Roy means it when he says, a really small purple monster. With a little tip of yellow fluff of hair, and a yellow shirt Roy couldn’t make out the words on it.
The two of them stared at each for a moment until…
“C-could you help me?” The little voice was soft. Roy, who if nothing was curious, sat the plate down and walked over, a bit cautious though.
“What d’ya need?” He asked, “could you turn on the faucet of the sink? I’m really thirsty but it’s stuck..” the little monster shuffled nervously and wrung his little hands.
“I’ll do you one better” Roy said as the little guy had already won him over. No clue how he got to but he’d figure that out later.
He walked back over to the fridge and took out the pitcher of lemonade (that subsequently Lemmy also made), and grabbed a cup from a shelf and poured a little in. The little monster watched him with a curious look on his face.
Adding a straw as the final touch, Roy offered his hand out to the little guy. With a nervous shuffle he hopped on. Bringing him up to the straw the monster took a little sip.
With a chuckle Roy watched as the little guy's eyes blew super wide. He didn’t stop until everything in the cup was gone. “Omg!!! This is superrr tasty. Like super tasty” The little guy babbled. “Thanks, my bro Lemmy made it. He’s going through a cooking phase so we have a whole bunch of random food and drinks” Roy mentioned.
The little guy was staring at him with shining eyes, and with him up so close he could see the little guys eyes were green and his shirt came over his mouth and said ‘ I <3 Illinois ‘. Roy had no clue what that was, sounded cool though. “You want more?” He asked. The little guy nodded his head furiously.
Roy grabbed a tray and put the plate of sandwiches and pitcher of lemonade with two cups. Ludwig could bitch to him about it later. The little guy climbed on the tray and sat cozily by the pitcher. “I’m Patten,” the little guy said. “Roy” answered well Roy.
With a dash they were off.

Iggy was ripping his hair out as he paced around. He was at his wits end. After yesterday he still wasn’t getting any closer to figuring out what was going on. The worst part was that only two of his siblings were talking to him, that being Lemmy and Roy.
Iggy knew if by today he didn’t have anything his siblings would never trust him again, and force him to do so much labor to get it back. What else could he do… what was he missing…
Then it hit him like a train. The only time anything happened was when it was peaceful and quiet. Now that everything was already chaotic nothing was happening.
In that moment Iggy knew he had seconds to act. With speed he normally only possessed when going by only one hour of sleep Iggy flung the closet object next to him up and into his ceiling. That being a hammer.
The hammer hit one of the lights and a tiny shriek could be heard as Iggy watched some weird looking creature dangle off of it before falling with a thump onto the ground. Iggy immediately howled with laughter.
He pounced. Grabbing the creature with his claws and squeezing it tight.
“I finally got you!!” He shrieked once more. He laughed and laughed until he felt the room get brighter, before he completely shut down.
The creature looked at the dazed boy in front of him. He felt bad for the poor kid. He hadn’t meant to stress him out so much.

When he woke up, Iggy had found that there was an ice pack on his head, and a glass of water with a note left by it. Sorry for the trouble-OM. He sat up straight and gulped the water down in two seconds. He read over the note one more time, before crushing it in his grip.
He had a plan now, a real one. He was going to get revenge, no matter how long he was going to have to stay up.
It was war, one he was going to win.
