“Hey guys, I had a thought just now.'' Kaminari spoke up from where he sat slouched across the couch in the common room. “Wow is it your first one ever” Jiro mocked “Hey that’s mean, anyway do you guys remember that kid that ran that ran towards the sludge villain a couple months before the the school year started” Bakugou and Midoriya instantly stiffened turning towards the human pikachu.
“Oh yeah, I remember the kid is around our age isn’t he? Imagine if he went to this school, it would be so awesome? Kirishima said. “Both boys in the incident were our age remember, one was captured and the other tried to save him before All Might showed up” Asui stated, finger on her chin looking up in thought. “I don’t understand why everyone is still fucking talking about something that happened months ago, when we were all still in middle school.” Bakugou growled glaring at everyone in the room.
“Oh come on man, you can’t say it wasn’t awesome, I remember thinking about it after I saw a villain attacking some of Mina’s friends from when I was in middle school, how I just froze and wouldn’t move while he rushed in, head on'' Kirishima spoke trying to get Bakugou to at least see how it was still cool. Midoriya looked toward the pretend redhead, he didn’t realise how much the incident had impacted his friend. “Are you still hung up over that, I told you no one was hurt that’s all that matters” Mina spoke, attracting the attention towards her. “All right, that's enough chatter, time to get to bed.” The class rep yelled, moving his arms robotically as everyone groaned and went to bed.
~ Time skip to next day at lunch ~
“Hey guys remember the conversation we were having about the mysterious hero, well it’s been bugging me that we might know them, so I suggest we work on finding out who it was'' Mina suggested “Ah I don’t think that’s a good idea Mina'' Midoriya tried to divert the conversation so they wouldn’t hold a search investigation. “Oh but why not Midoriya, if we knew who it was we could look up to them in our hero training. Like how I look up to you and Todoroki after the incident” Iida said, opening and closing his fist to indicate Stain. “Th-th-thanks Iida ''' Midoriya said blushing and looking down. “Just let them do it Deku, we’re not going to be able to stop them now.” “Are you sure Kacchan?” Bakugou just grunted, looking away. “Yay investigation is a go, meet in the library at 4:00 if you can make it” Mina said “can’t training” Midoriya and Bakugou spoke at the same time.
~ Time skip to the library ~
“Okay is everyone here” at the confirmed nods Mina continued “good so we’re going to search the news for names or images to the sludge incident, now let’s do this”
~ two hours later ~
(there weren’t a lot of news reports on the incident)
“Found something that looks promising '' Uraraka said, still looking at her computer, everyone turned to look at her indicating they were listening. “2 boys were involved with the sludge villain attack as well as 5 heroes one of which was All Might himself, the others were Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, Death Arms and BackDraft. Eye witnesses say that a scrawny boy rushed towards the villain to save the captured person. The boy captured seemed to have an exploding type quirk”, “like Bakubro’s then” Kirishima said walking towards Uraraka to see the screen ‘yes, the heroes seemed unable to save the boy with their quirks but this boy ran straight past them throwing his bag at the eye of the sludge monster, the only part of him that was solid besides his teeth. Then trying to pull the slime off the captured boy. All Might showed up and defeated the villain before the villain could do any real harm. The captured person is now identified as KATSUKI BAKUGOU!!!”
“Wait what” everyone shouted, getting glares from other students for being loud in the library. “He never told me he was the captured boy from the sludge incident” Kirishima said, quieter but still loud and forced out. “Must have seen it as a sign that he was weak, we all know he doesn’t like to be thought of as weak.” Momo thought out loud “true but I’m still confronting him about this later” Kirishima said, sitting down waiting to find out who had saved his friend. “Bakugou was sent to the hospital for a couple of hours to recover from the attack. The boy that saved Bakugou was told not to run into danger again by the heroes and went on his way. Later video evidence and identity investigation revealed the boy was found to be IZUKU MIDORIYA but news reporters were never able to get an interview from him as he had already left the scene.” Uraraka hurried to finish before any yelling occured. “WHAT!!!”
The librarian kicked them out for screaming but their minds were too busy reeling from their revelation to care. “Soooo… That’s why Deku didn’t want to research with us” Uraraka began “and why he asked Bakugou if it was really okay” Momo continued “All I know is I’m going to find them then shake why they didn’t tell us out of them” Kirishima stated hands hardening at the thought. “Well they’re training so we won’t see them until night has settled” Kaminari said “I’ve always wanted to know where they train because we can never hear or find them, which is odd because they are loud as hell when they fight or train'' Sero said and everyone nodded in agreement.
~ time skip to late at night ~
“That was so much fun I love training with you” Midoriya said excitedly, Bakugou laughed at his boyfriend’s excitement drawing him in for one last kiss for the night as they both knew everyone was in the common room waiting for them to show up. “Well everyone has to have found out by now so get ready to be hassled” Bakugou said not yelling as he was alone with his boyfriend. “You act like I’m not ready every single day, I have way too many secrets” Bakugou just chuckled before opening the door.
“There you guys are, stop going wherever you go when you train and also WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL US!!!” Mina shouted when she spotted the two boys entering the room. “Kacchan didn’t want me to tell anyone so i didn’t”, “yeah, still don’t know why you didn’t tell anyone after everything.” “3 reasons, 1 you asked me not too, 2 that’s just not who I am and 3 I know what it feels like to be suffocated almost to the point of passing out, that would have been a wound to your pride”, Midoriya said counting on his fingers.
“Hold on, what do you mean you know what it’s like to almost suffocate?” Bakugou asked, borderline threateningly, not knowing that his boyfriend had faced the sludge monster before he did. “Hm didn’t I tell you, the slime monster tried to use my body to escape the city, before it went after you, if it wasn’t for All Might, he would have escaped. Also it’s my fault he escaped the second time.” Midoriya looked around surprised by the pin drop silence that had taken over his class.
“You fought the sludge monster, how long were you in hospital?” Kaminari asked. “Hospital? I didn’t go to the hospital” Midoriya grew more confused by the incredulous looks he was getting from everyone. “You do know know that Bakubro was in the hospital for a couple of hours after the attack? Right?” Kirishima asked “what no, although now that I think about it, that makes sense, since it was sunset when you found me and told me not to tell anyone that it was you captured and you needed help from a “quirkless nobody” to save you”.
“That was back when you were quirkless!?”, “yeah 10 months later I got my quirk, on the morning of the entrance exam actually the robot I punched was the first time I ever used my quirk.” Another pin drop silence fell over the room. “Anything else we don’t know about?” Mineta asked “don’t know some things I’m not allowed to share cause it’s not my secret to share, some things I don’t want to share. Somethings i don’t say cause it would seem like i’m bragging over something anyone could and would do and somethings i’m not allowed to say because it’s illegal, anyway i’m heading to bed, goodnight everyone” he said as he walked to his dorm. After a break of silence “did he say ILLEGAL!!!” everyone minus Todoroki and Iida yelled.
