Chapter 1: Summary

Chapter Text

Kiri te Suli Kìreysì'ite and Spider Socorro meet at the edge of two worlds—metal and forest, breath and silence, loss and becoming. Both are children born at a crossroad—too sky people for the Na’vi, too Na’vi for the sky people, carrying ghosts they don’t remember and grief that settled in before language ever could.

As they grow, so does the weight of the world around them. Eywa’eveng heals slowly. The scars of war linger. Spider grows between steel and vines, learning to survive in a place that is not truly his, while Kiri listens to the voice of Eywa, feeling the pulse of the world in a way that both grounds and isolates her. They grow side by side, tethered by something soft and unbreakable, even as the space between their worlds never fully closes

And just as they begin to understand what they mean to each other, the sky people return.

The fragile peace shatters.

War reshapes them. Separation tests them. Time forces them to grow up faster than either of them should have had to.

And yet, love endures.
