A young girl felt a hand shaking her awake as she slowly woke up from a few hours nap on the back of her parents’s limousine. She yawned and brushed her slightly asleep eyelids.
A machoke from the moving company was looming above her. The pokemon having stopped her movement to watch the girl awakening up. Concern in her intelligent eyes.
“You guys finished ?” The girl asked with her best Unovian while getting out of the rich vehicle she despised.
The Pokémon nodded before returning to her trainer’s pokeball. The girl’s eyes were less friendly as she glanced to the poorly payed worker, not quite without sympathy. Working with such pompous bastards like her parents must be a torture. She knew about it too well.
Her Dreepy hiding under her disgustingly pink dress as she was walking in the new mansion inside in the small city. She could heard her arguing parents from the other side of the door.
“I wouldn’t allowed it ! Not after forcing us to move multiple times for that same reason !”
“Exactly dear. Maybe we should let her travel with conditions. Might she will calm down and obey”
“But…”
“I know. But she is a renegade, a rowdy girl from the regions. She wouldn’t become the heir of….oh child” Her mom became more serious as she saw her flesh eavesdropping. “The help will give you a tour” She gestured to a man who stayed straight beside the stairs.
The girl walked up to him. He guided her up the stairs. They reached the first floor out of the view of her parents when she gave him a small smile. “Hey Alfie”
He gave her back a similar smile. Alfie is a good guy. Neglected by her parents, he tried to gave her the life she wants by letting the girl sneak out at night since her earlier childhood.
“What did my parents talked about ?”
“Madam wants to let you travel, one year later like, any tenth years old across the region, within a controlled freedom of course” Her face constricted and hissed. She refused to be forced into a false freedom. He put his gloved finger on his lips. “If that came up again. Try to not show your knowledge” She nodded neutrally.
After the tour and a lame dinner, Alfie brought her to her new lame and royal room. Alfie put a huge leather bag with a Giratina pictured and a huge bag of multi types kibbles. Alfie smiled, kind and deceiving. “Good night, Young mistress” He said before shutting the door shut.
Phantom smiled pretending to sleep closing her eyes as her Dreepy slivered between her arms, leaning on her cheek. After a good hour of waiting, she heard no noice inside the entire house. She opened back her eyes and jumped back on her feet. Her Dreepy crawling around her neck.
She walked to the purple bag. Inside was a good stock of heal items, like Full heals, Full restores, Hyper potions, Max Potions, Max revives and Elixirs. One liter of icy water inside a aside stockage. Pockets full of all the existing TM and HMs. A pocket full of Vitamins to spread EVs and IVs. Berries, Items, Exp candies, Rare candies and Snacks. Everything she could ever needs. Except Pokeballs as she didn’t needed them.
She slowly opened her dressing and she exchanged her Mimikyu pajamas, and took the first hicking outfit she could think of.
She took a pair of leggings made of Galvantula’s silk, painted similarly to Haxorus’s armour She took her black tank top with the symbol of ghost pokemon on the front She took her leather jacket with a ‘specialized Ghost pokemon trainer ‘ with a stylized tongue sticking Gengar on her back. She at the end took her comfortable Chandelure and Electross sneakers. She then took her Zorua’s necklace.
She smirked as Dreepy flew the bag to her. She put it and approached the golden arched window to open it. The night had fell and a beautiful starsky surrounded a full moon. Her parents had put her bedroom at the third floor to prevent her to sneak out. But they underestimated her recklessness.
She put herself on the window and glanced to her Dreepy. “Ready ?” She smiled as they nodded and she jumped. Her knees dropped as she landed down, she had put her hand on the emerald grass to land perfectly. She stood up and nodded in an excited smile. “Let’s go ! Unava night, prepare for me !”
She walked into the streets of Accumala town. The streets were completely empty, except for a young adult with long green hair. Standing like he was waiting for someone, a Purrloin Sitting between his legs.
She tilted her head after stopping before the man. “Why are you alone so late ?”
He glanced to her Dreepy around her neck. “Your pokemon love you very much”
She smiled. “Thank you, I know ! Your Purrloin does as well !”
The man glanced to his cat pokemon and smiled. “You heard them too ?”
She shook her head. “Nope, but I see their spirit”
“A admirable gift” He smiled kindly.
“Damn, I wish I could listen to my pokemon too…” She reminisced as she looked at the North Star.
“What a mouth for such a cute girl” She grinned brightly at him. “I wonder why one walk around this late”
She spoke with a smile. “I am doing my journey of course !” Her Dreepy cried with her.
“During the night ?” She nodded excitedly. “Then, I wish you good luck. My name is N, by the way”
“Thank you !” She walking in reverse, answering. “I am Phantom Sawyer !” She ignored his widen eyes and turned around to walk away.
She entered Route 2 and looked around the empty road surrounding by trees. Pokemon peeked out of their grass and leafs, noticing her and started to run towards her and get out of hiding. Patrats ran from their grass and through her legs as they would usually without anyone. Lilipups stopped around her legs, barking at her to ask for hugs and scratching. Purrloin were more elegant and meowed softly as they walked on the trees.
After giving each Lilipups some pats, belly robs, scratching and kisses on their foreheads, she passed through an empty Striaton city, walking unstopping to the Route 3. The Patrats and Blitzles ran around her, Lilipuds stopped before her, Pidoves flew above her and two Audinos healed her Dreepy as she trained with them until reaching level 15.
She thanked the audino and walked in Wellspring Cave. She breathed the moist atmosphere, caves always was calming for here even as her youngest of age. Roggenrola walked around her, some crying happily at her as they passed, Woobats flew above her and Drillburs played in dust clouds. A Woobat landed on her head and she glanced up at them smiled at the shy bat. “Hello :)”
She exited the cave, letting the bat in it to Nacrene City. She eyed the fossils inside the closed museum, in curiosity when she heard a familiar voice. “Interested in past pokemon ?”
She glanced at N, behind her. A pidove, Timbur, and a Tympole around him, his Purrloin was gone. “Are you stalking me ?”
He froze, she interpreted it as a Yes. “I see you didn’t release your Dreepy…”
Phantom tilted her head. “Why would I ever do that ?”
“No, no, this is good. I tend to only battle with a pokemon once. I dislike hurting them”
“I do too, but I prefer having a true relationship with them. Even if that means battling multiple times with them” She smiled and they cried happily. “They like it anyway”
“You are a odd trainer, Phantom”

They separated and she walked in Pinwheel Forest. Pidoves flew in the sky as three Audonos walked to her, Tympole took their heads out of the pound to look at them. Sawks and Throhs bowed to her, inviting her to a training session. Timburr roaming around her.
She let her pokemon train with the audinos and posing her jacket and bag, she bowed back, accepting to the proposal.
She entered the forest and was in awe at the dark forest. Pidgey and audinos were constant. Cottonee flew alongside the pidoves, Sewaddles made leaf jackets inside the trees. Petilits and Venipedes crawled around her. The elemental monkeys slept in the trees. With the evolution of the multitude of grass and bugs types, and Pidoves.
A Whirlipede rolled to her. His speed boosting as he stopped. “Want to roll with us, baby wheel ?” He cried and they went to train with the audinos and gave him vitamins to boost his Attack and Speed.
At the end, a woman in a huge white coat came to her and glanced on her pokemons. She spoke about liberating the pokemon being the goal of a team plasma before attacking her with her Patrats. Her new Whirlipede smashed them both with rock smash. As soon as she was defeated, she ran away.
“Weird girl” Phantom simply said before walking away from the forest.
She ran on the empty Skyarrow bridge, looking at the sea below sometimes. She entered a mostly empty but still brightly lighted Castelia City. Inside, she took Casteliacones for her and each of her pokemon from the sole open shop. She eat her cones while exploring the confortable sewers.
When the Sun started to rise and the people started to roll in, she flew back to her bedroom with the help of wild Pidoves and she sneaked her pokemon in, be forced to use Ultra balls to keep it that way. She kept hid her little night journey as she spend her home classes, where Alfie let her sleep.
