Night hung heavy over the shoulders of the Ishinarian Palace, stars glinting through the windows. Great emerald green roofs seemed duller while the clouds drifted above.
Inside a prince lay, emerald green eyes burning as he searched through old memories; flashes of a massacre and cruelty at his people's hands glinting through the haze. He curled around an old pillow, fraying and faded - a gift from a loving mother, memories of a massacre from a murderous queen.
Crack-like shadows covered the castle's foundation, trees swaying through the breeze. A light rain pattered down, crawling down walls and windows.
Outside the walls, through unending forests and heaven searching mountains - was a massacre. Mothers and fathers slaughtered; homes burned and innocents brutalised under the ordering hands of a murderous queen. A loving mother prayed for sweet dreams to be bestowed upon her son, upon her heir
