Foreword
Well, here we are again.
Welcome, welcome.
Welcome back to Arcadia Bay.
As I’ve said before, don’t read this story.
Perhaps I should qualify that. Don’t read this story until you’ve played the game(s) and read the others in the series:
- Before the Storm
- Life is Strange
- I Know that Life is Strange
- Echoes of the Bay
I actually didn’t expect to be writing this story. I actually started writing it about five years ago, at the beginning of 2021. It was meant as a continuation after I Know that Life is Strange, but after two chapters, I couldn’t figure out where the plot would go, and so I put the story away. After finishing Echoes of the Bay, I found those original two chapters and, a few nights ago, realised how the story would look. So I planned it out… and, well, here we are.
This will be slightly different in tone to the other stories, concentrating far more on the characters rather than the events. It’s something different for me and I’m a more than a little excited to find out what happens and where this will go. Also, the girls are now no longer teenagers and so the tone will, hopefully, reflect that.
As always, please read, enjoy and leave comments. It’s always nice to receive praise, but also constructive criticism. It forces me to improve, which is always a good thing.
That said, I hope you enjoy.
