Found Records of Deepfrost Citadel and the Caves Below

Summary:

When adventurers visit a site of tragedy, one of the standard marks of the past are records left behind by whoever was there before. Deepfrost Citadel and the mountain it is built on are no exception.
Whether they take the form of burnt notes in a laboratory or the journal of a desperate man, it's interesting to find and read such remnants.
---
Or: A few mini-writings based on the summaries of writings which can be found in the dnd-fan-module Terrors Beneath Deepfrost Citadel.

Notes:

As is noted in the summary, this fic is based on content from Terrors Beneath Deepfrost Citadel, which was written/produced by @capriciouswriter207 on Tumblr. It's very well made and I encourage anybody interested to go check it out!

Because of the intent of what this is, this fic will be structured more like a compilation than an actual continuous story. This also means that it doesn't really fit character tags too well, but I think it's fine to put a few up anyway?

Finally and importantly, the author (me) is not at all an experienced writer. This means two things: Firstly, the quality of the writing here, even on such a miniature scale, will likely be variable. Secondly, I have a minimal understanding of what is expected in terms of the formatting of the Summary and Notes, so that may be weird. You Have Been Warned, and such.

With all that said, if anyone does decide to take a peek at this, I hope you find it mildly interesting!

Chapter 1: A Half-Elf's Frustration, Burnt to a Crisp

Summary:

Thaddeus Holsten's struggle to save his friend Melena, as hinted at via the scraps of a burnt journal.

Notes:

Thus concludes my first adventure in Ao3 formatting. Yay! I should probably edit the work summary so there's more spaces to make it more legible...
But about this chapter in particular, it's intended to be scraps of paper that have been burnt, hence the extra spaces and missing letters. It's something that looks a little bit better on paper, but I think it's still interesting in this format. If anyone ever wants the 'full' version let me know, but otherwise that's all for now!
