OFFICER DELGADO:
“Afternoon, gentlemen. Situation’s secure. The individual who entered your room has been arrested. She was not employed by the hotel.”
HOLLANDER:
“Arrested for what?”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Unlawful entry and filing a false police report. She alleged torture and organized criminal activity inside this suite.”
HOLLANDER (shocked):
“Torture? You’re kidding.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“No sir. We just have a few questions for documentation.”
HOLLANDER:
“Yeah that's fine.”
ROZANOV:
“Of course.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
"First things first, could you tell me your names and date of births?"
HOLLANDER:
"Shane Hollander. May 10, 1991."
ROZANOV:
"Ilya Rozanov. June 15, 1991."
OFFICER 4B27:
"Sorry, could you spell that for me?"
ROZANOV:
"I-L-Y-A. R-O-Z-A-N-O-V."
Officer 4B27 writes notes.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Thank you. What brings you to Florida? From my understanding that you are from Canada. Is this visiting, a vacation...?”
ROZANOV:
“Couples...retreat.”
HOLLANDER:
“With friends.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Could you give me their names?”
ROZANOV:
“[Bleep] and [BLEEP]. And [BLEEP] and [BLEEP].”
[16:13:22 – Officer Delgado notes, the writing blurred and censored.]
OFFICER DELGADO:
"Are they also staying here? Could we ask them a few questions also?"
HOLLANDER:
"Yes. Their rooms are on the same floor as ours."
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Alright. I'll ask for their contacts later. The break-in occurred approximately 2:32 in the afternoon, where were you at that moment?”
HOLLANDER:
“Out. We went for lunch with our friends then we went sightseeing."
ROZANOV:
"Mm yes. It was very memorable."
HOLLANDER:
"Shut up."
OFFICER DELGADO:
“...Just to be sure of the timeline, when hotel management contacted you, you said you were already on your way back. Why?”
HOLLANDER:
“I-I forgot something.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“What did you forget?”
Pause.
ROZANOV:
“Oh. The [BLEEP] died.”
Pause. Hollander audibly facepalms.
Officer 4B27 pauses writing.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“…I-I’m sorry?”
ROZANOV:
“It stopped working. Low battery—”
HOLLANDER (mortified):
“[BLEEP] Can we not—”
ROZANOV:
“What? You must tell police necessary—”
HOLLANDER:
“Oh my god. Stop.”
OFFICER DELGADO (clears throat):
“Of course. Understood. Moving on. Uhh, how did you travel to hotel?”
HOLLANDER:
“Uber.”
ROZANOV:
“Five stars. She drove very fast. That pigeon is likely to be dead—”
HOLLANDER:
"Ilya!"
[16:18:27 – Camera pans toward bedroom threshold]
The room is blurred as censorship.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Sirs, do you own a dog?”
HOLLANDER (confused):
“...Yes?”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Did you bring your dog on this trip?”
HOLLANDER:
“No. She's with my parents in Canada.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“So no animals present.”
HOLLANDER:
“Correct.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“We found two [BLEEP] are consistent with [BLEEEEEP].”
Hollander visibly pales.
ROZANOV:
“Yes.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Would you like to clarify their purpose?”
HOLLANDER:
“No.”
ROZANOV:
“It is for me.”
HOLLANDER:
“[BLEEP] Ilya [BLEEP].”
ROZANOV:
“It was amazing.”
Officer 4B27 stutters.
HOLLANDER:
“Stop talking. [BLEEP].”
ROZANOV:
“It made me [BLEEP] and [BLEEP] and then I—”
HOLLANDER:
“Ilya—”
ROZANOV:
“—and then when he [BLEEP] I [BLEEP] and—”
HOLLANDER:
“ENOUGH YOU SICK [BLEEP]!”
Camera jolts.
Hollander lunges forward.
Bodycam shakes as Officer Delgado steps in.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Whoa—hey—hey!”
Officer 4B27 grabs Hollander’s shoulder.
OFFICER 4B27:
“Sir, calm down.”
Rozanov laughing.
ROZANOV:
“It is okay! He just shy—”
HOLLANDER:
“I'm going to [BLEEP] kill you.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Sir, step back. Step back.”
Hollander restrained briefly at forearms. No strikes observed. No closed fists.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“Let’s keep this professional.”
Pause.
Hollander exhales sharply.
Steps back.
Officers release.
ROZANOV:
“It was very bonding.”
HOLLANDER:
“[BLEEP] I swear to God.”
OFFICER DELGADO:
"We’re not going into further detail. For documentation: no signs of assault, no injuries, no evidence of coercion. Continuing on. Just a few more questions. Did you authorize housekeeping access today?”
HOLLANDER:
“No. We had uh, the Do Not Disturb tag on the door handle."
OFFICER DELGADO:
“That matches logs and is consistent with footage.”
[16:23:41 - Officer closes notebook.]
OFFICER DELGADO:
“That concludes our questions. You’ll receive a case number. The hotel is reviewing access procedures.”
Pause.
OFFICER DELGADO:
“And...I recommend considering more safer hobbies.”
ROZANOV:
“Mm no promises—”
HOLLANDER:
“Ilya [BLEEP] you [BLEEP]!”
[16:23:01 - Officers Delgado and 4B27 stand in elevator]
OFFICER 4B27:
"Holy [BLEEP]. Are athletes always this freaky? Kind of wild to do this in a hotel room."
OFFICER DELGADO:
“They need therapy. Should we send their friends a number?”
OFFICER 4B27:
"Use mine. She does couples too."
[16:24:12 – Bodycam Deactivated]
