"Vee you have been drinking too much!" Astro berated while carrying the barely conscious Vee.
"W-w-wahts wrong wizzat?" Vee drunkenly responded.
Astro just rolled his eyes.
His house is quite far and he couldnt be able to carry Vee for a long period of time, Sprout is occupied and Bobette is also occupied.
Astro took a moment.
"Aha!" He had an idea.
He placed Vee on a bench and pulled out his phone.
"Hello Shelly, I need your help right now." Astro continued.
In a few minutes a car drove near the pavement.
A window lowered down.
"Hey man, you are lucky my mom let me use this car." Shelly laughed.
Astro chuckled.
"Alright hop in." Shelly welcomed the two but the other one passed out.
As they were driving Astro looked at his phone.
'Hey babe, im in your house rn.' A text from Looey.
Astro blushed a bit.
"So your house first." Shelly smiled.
Astro nodded and he realized his friend at the back.
"Oh Shelly I have a favor." Astro spoke.
"What is it?" Shelly asked.
"Could you let Vee stay in your house for awhile?" Astro looked embarassed.
Shelly looked at Astro as he knew if she brought in a drunkard her mom would scold her.
But Shelly sighed.
"Fine, I will reason it out with my mother." Shelly said.
Astro smiled softly and relaxed on the seat.
The road was quiet and all he can hear was the slight sound of the air conditioner and thr low volume radio playing soft songs.
"Hey bud." Shelly nudged the asleep Astro.
"Oh, ah yes sorry Shells." Astro woke up which made the blonde giggle.
He took off his seatbelt and opened the door.
"Thanks Shelly, better take care of her while she stays, alright?" Astro looked at the already asleep Vee.
"No problem!" Shelly smiled as the door closed and Shelly manuvered back to the road to go home.
"Thank goodness she is sleeping." Shelly muttered as she saw the brunette.
As she went home she parked the car, got out, opened the door and took the brunette by carrying her in her arms while closing the door with her foot.
"Shelly Fosillian Mendez, who did you brought in this time?" Shanon looked strict.
"Oh uh mom, Astro said this girl was kinda not feeling well so I took her in for awhile if thats okay?" Shelly anxiously reason while beads of sweat was falling off her face.
Shanon looked at her eyes with all seriousness.
"Alright, you may go and goodnight to the both of you." Shanon smiled.
Shelly felt relieved and walked through her room.
"If you need help tell me." Shanon butted in.
Shelly just nodded.
She placed the woman in the bed and closed the door.
Shelly sighed as she saw the brunette was mumbling things.
It was all fine until she heard a queue of the latter going to vomit so Shelly hurriedly brought a bucket and brought her to the back.
Shelly was right and she sighed with relief.
She then went outside to discard the vomit and get water for her too.
She opened the door and slowly went to the bed.
"Hey, hey, I need you to drink water if thats ok." Shelly softly nudged.
The woman was just dazed and nodded weakly.
Shelly slowly placed the cup to her lips and thankfully she was drinking, weakly but still.
"Good." Shelly praised.
She slowly laid the woman down and moved the blanket to tick her in as Shelly stood and walk out near the door.
"Now go to sleep, alright." Shelly looked back again as she worriedly thought she might vomit but shes pretty sure she wont and it finally assured Shelly.
Shelly stretched and walked to the living room to sleep in the couch.
As the morning rose Vee shuffled through the bed.
The sun rays were beaming through the curtains which woke her up.
She quickly got up until a tinge of pain struck her head
"Ughh, shit!" Vee groaned as a sudden headache surged towards her.
She looked through her surrounding she saw how unfamiliar the place is..
Vee mentally panicked.
She then slowly walk through the door and opened it slightly trying to be careful.
Was she kidnapped? She asked herself as she opened the door wider in a very slow manner.
"Oh hey visitor!" An unfamiliar voice called her out.
Vee peeked out and it was a blonde woman cooking something.
"Dont be shy, come on and eat breakfast." She welcomed her and Vee reluctantantly walked still having suspicion at the place.
"My name is Shanon, and my daughter was the one who brought you here if you are wondering." She smiled.
Vee felt now felt the sense of a tad bit of relief.
Shanon took a bowl and poured something and seved it to the brunette.
"Egg drop soup, for your dizzy head." Shanon laughed.
Vee took the bowl but the heat burnt her hand.
"Careful, its freshly hot." Shanon warned as she gave her a spoon.
Vee took a sip and felt the warmth until she heard footsteps.
"Mom can I have some bacon?" A tall blonde walked out.
Suddenly the two met.
Their eyes fixated on each other, it was quite a few seconds for them to see their distinct features and those purple eyes caught Vee's attention which intrigued the brunette.
"Shelly, we have soup!" Shanon grumbled.
"Come onnn!" Shelly cut their eye contact to whine to her mother.
"Such a big baby." Vee muttered in her mind and smirked trting to hold her laughter.
As Shanon bonked Shelly's head Shelly looked at the brunette again.
She acted so messy which was funny for Vee.
"Hi im Shelly, Shelly Fossilian and if you're wondering, Astro was the one who called me to bring you to my house." Shelly explained.
"Thank you, anyways im Vee Hurley." Vee introduced.
"Hurley?!" Shanon looked surprised.
"My mom is Veronica Hurley so yeah." Vee shrugged.
"Oh dear, its been awhile since I met Veronica, her daughter is all grown up now!" Shanon smiled.
"You must know my mother pretty well huh?" Vee chuckled.
"Of course! Were bestfriends ever since highschool but it became so busy that we barely interacted." Shanon sighed.
"So you are Astro's friend?" Shanon asked.
Vee nodded.
"Well Astro is also Shelly's friend, Shelly met him when she fell from the canal which was funny." Shanon giggled.
"Mom!" Shelly was embarassed and Vee laughed.
"Im surprised you two didnt know each other." Shanon looked at the two girls.
"Im just going to take a bath now." Shelly suddenly announced just to avoid more embarassment and walked to her room.
Shanon looked at Vee.
"Oh Vee, dont you want to take a bath too?"
"I could if only I have clothes." Vee sheepishly laughed.
"Dont worry I think Shelly's old clothes fit you." Shanon walked through a closet and pulled out a t shirt, and a short.
"Shelly grows too fast that her clothes from last year doesnt fit her anymore!" Shanon laughed.
Shanon gave Vee the folded clothes.
It was a dinosaur themed t shirt and a normal grey short and a towel. Vee chuckled at the t shirt.
"You can use my bathroom in the room over there." Shanon offered and Vee shyly walked in.
"Just feel like home I dont mind what you use there." Shanon assured.
Vee felt refreshed and also it felt so weird that she felt way more comfortable here than Astro's house with his strict dad, seesh.
Vee wore the given clothes and funnily enough it was quite larger than her.
Well looking at it Shanon's daughter is extremely taller than her.
Weird.
And she went out to see Shelly waiting.
"Alright I know how much you want to go home so..."
Shanon bonked Shelly again.
"Fossilian Mendez, what did I say with that attitude." Shanon scolded.
Shelly just sighed.
"Dont worry Ms. Shanon, I seriously do need to get home or else my mom might worry." Vee chuckled.
The two walked and went inside the car.
Shelly started the car and drove away as Shanon waved goodbye.
