Work Text:
Delilah sighs in frustration as she read through the behaviour reports on SC-005, also known as Brightney from Veronica, as she expected the toon was acting off script behind the scenes again just like the week before. She placed the report down next to the pile of reports from the other handlers about SC-001 to SC-004 which all held the same results, all four toons were acting off script behind the scenes.
SC-001 had been avoiding Sprout for a while, claiming that the main was too clingy and dependent at times. It would come up excuses to not spend time with him or be in the same room as the main.SC-001 also has been making food items other than cookies or desserts which is beyond what it is supposed to be able to, and it has shown to be protective around SC-002, SC-003 and SC-004 whenever their designated main or the mains toon handler aren't nearby, which was not the behavior it was suppose to have.
SC-002 was less 'mean' around SC-001 to SC-005 which is not suppose to happen, it has also been cleaning up the messed it made after each tantrum it suppose to has.Sc-002 has been seen defending younger children from older children that pick on them which is out of character. It also seems to have developed a friendship with one of the toons, Gigi.Luckily she doesn't seem to have her behaviour altered but Delilah can't guarantee that.
SC-003 while still retaining it's bubbly and energetic personality, however it seems to have grown a disliking towards certain toons that are hostile to SC-002 or mean to SC-004. It doesn't seem to enjoy Pop which it is the face of the brand. It also seems to have picked up on music which it isn't suppose to.
SC-004's personality and behaviour is wrong in so many ways, while it retain it's introverted nature it isn't shy nor nervous. Instead it seems to be purposefully avoiding other toons that isn't it's designated main or SC-001 to SC-005.It also shows an interest in engineering which isn't what it is supposed to be interested in.
SC-005 seems to be giving Squirm books to eat occasionally despite it suppose to ban the toon from the library. It also seems to have been more quiet and seems to prefer dark places often found hiding there, on another note it seems more interested in advance books that children don't read such as advance sciences or medieval fiction.
"God what am I supposed to do..." Delilah pinces the bridge of her nose as she thought about what to do with this issue, well she already has a solution which is to make replacements of the five but the problem is what she would do with the original five. She couldn't put them into storage as they are sentient and would likely cause a fuss about it as they weren't made like the holiday toons.Delilah can't unmake them as well it's just impossible.
It's not like she could have Arthur rewrite their show personalities...
"Unless..." Delilah muttered as her eyes lingered to one of the cabinets in her office, she got up from her desk and walked towards it.If she remembered correctly it should be, "Ah here it is," she pulled out a file labeled 'Second Show Offer', when Dandy's World had gotten popular amongst the children, someone had came up to her and Arthur with the idea of second show that targeted a slightly older audience.
They had initially rejected it due to the lack of resources but...
With this offer she could get rid of the failed toons without trouble and they would profit from the second show too.
Perhaps it was time they expand the show.
