Saki and Shiho's "honeymoon" wasn't anything special. It mainly just felt like a long date. Of course, they weren't really legally married. It was illegal in Japan after all, though there was still a proposal and a wedding. Both Shizuku and Tsukasa had cried. Loudly. It ended up being a great day.
And now, a week later, they were chilling in their shared apartment after eating dinner together. Saki was sprawled over Shiho's lap, of whom was carding through the former's hair idly as they both watched a movie.
"Hey, Shiho..." Saki piped up. "Do you think we're together like this in every universe?"
"Where's this coming from?" Shiho asked, looking down at her wife's face. It was illuminated with color from the TV's screen, making sparkles in her eyes.
"Well, I was just thinking... if this is the only universe where we loved each other this much, I'd feel really, really lucky." she gave Shiho a big grin. "Because I really love you!"
The two of them giggled a little, and shared a kiss. Though, the question made them both think.
"I think it would be really neat if I could have this much fun with you in every universe, Saki."
A princess Saki and a wolf-eared Shiho danced through the night in the forest, the music being the sound of the cicadas and night life- laughing and getting dirt all over their clothes. Saki pulled the coat she had been lent that smelled of pine trees a bit tighter around her shoulders. Shiho, usually so stoic and aloof, excitedly held the princess's hands and spun her around, until they lost balance and fell onto the grass, where they promptly had a playful fistfight.
"Grahh, you won't get away with this!" Saki shook her fist as she was held down. Shiho shut up with a kiss. Her lips were chapped, but Saki didn't mind at all.
"I really love you," Shiho said once they pulled away. "And I'd probably fight an army for you."
"An army?!" Saki laughed as she sat up. "Well, you must really love me then! I'd fight an army too!"
"Shiho..." A Saki with horns held her knight upright. "Shiho!"
"I'm okay. Or, I'll be okay." Shiho coughed. "I held off all the attackers."
"You fought an army for me..." Saki said, trying not to cry. She tore off some cloth from her dress and tied it around the wound on Shiho's torso that was bleeding the most, maintaining pressure with her free hand. "That's a really... r-really stupid thing to do..."
The knight smiled softly, hands reaching up to cup the other girl's face. "Hey... I really love you. And I'd be really upset if you got hurt."
Saki sniffed, before smiling too. "I really love you too... I wish I could fight like you. Actually, screw it, I'll learn! Teach me!"
"That's the spirit."
"When do you think our teams are going to figure out that you're alive and the fact we're pretty much engaged?" Happy Heart- A.K.A Saki asked, walking across rooftops with C... A.K.A Shiho.
"I dunno. Should we tell them?" Shiho asked. "I mean, it's been months. I feel like the others would be really mad at me for getting stuck in a building about to explode and then disappearing, only to show up and say that I'm in a relationship with a hero." She sat down, looking up at the stars. Saki followed her lead, sitting directly on her lap.
"Oi, I can't see with your beautiful flowing golden hair in the way."
"Ehe, sorry~" The two of them sat side by side. The stars weren't too visible with all the light pollution, but they could still see a few. "The moon is beautiful."
"Yeah it is." Shiho murmured, her hand moving over Saki's and squeezing it. "...I really love you, I think. I want to go places with you."
"Like... the moon!" Saki said.
"Yeah. Sure. The moon. Let's go to the moon, why not."
Saki was drifting through space. It felt lonely, with only the sound of soft static entering her helmet. A mechanical arm extended from the ship behind her and grabbed her, pulling her back in. The moment gravity returned, she stumbled and had to hold onto the wall. The door hissed open. Shiho, in her lab coat, ran and tackled Saki into a hug. "The comms went out. I thought you were a goner."
"Sh-Shiho!" Saki's eyes widened. Shiho never initiated hugs. She happily returned it, burying her face in the scientist's neck. "I thought I was gone too...!! It was so quiet and scary!!"
The hug lasted much longer than usual. Eventually, Shiho pulled away and pressed her lips to the astronaut's forehead. "Let's take a break from doing that for a while. I'll go fix whatever made the comms go out."
"Wait." Saki grabbed Shiho's sleeve. "Let's just... hug a little longer.
Shiho couldn't turn down those puppy eyes.
"Saki... I really love you." She murmured. "Live forever."
Saki giggled. "Of course."
A demon and a broke college student walked into a bar.
"Here's to finally getting therapy." Saki said, raising her glass slightly. "Phew, human problems are really challenging! I'm glad I'm not a human... no, actually..."
"What's up?" Shiho asked as she sipped her drink.
"Being a human wouldn't be too bad, if it meant I could be with you."
"Aw. That's sweet."
"I mean it! Really!"
Shiho smiled softly, leaning against Saki's shoulder. "I really love you. You're so kind."
And then they all kissed in every universe. The end.
