It was dark outside the only light that was in the room, was from the moon that was as bright as ever.
And there was, Y/N in his bed hugging himself trying to sleep, but his brain was far from shutting down after what happend that day.
His mind wouldn't shut up for a second about every thing wrong he did, and what he could had done better if he wasn't stupid.
Then someone opened the door and slowly, but loudly sat down at the edge of the bed and patted Y/N's head.
When Y/N slowly looked up he saw Gerson in his pajamas with a worried smile in his face.
Gerson: So, Sonny what happend with you? I never saw you in a state like this.
Y/N sat up and stayed static for a bit, before hugged Gerson.
Y/N: It's nothing, Grandpa... I'm just tired that's all...
Gerson put his arms around Y/N and Gerson put his face on top of Y/N's head.
Gerson: You know, you can be a better liar than this, right?
Y/N not knowing how to respond, let out a little laugh.
then Gerson laid down and pulled Y/N against him.
Y/N: Grandpa... You don't have to do th-
Gerson: But I want to, Sonny.
That made Y/N shut up immediately.
Gerson: I know life's been hard on you, but I can't let you fight it alone, not when you have people who care about you ok, sonny?
It got quiet, so quiet it should've been uncomfortable, but it wasn't the case, and in that silence, Y/N put his face against Gerson's body.
Y/N tried to clean his tears but they kept coming, Gerson then tightened the hug a bit.
Gerson: Let them out... the worst thing you can do, is to try and forcefully stop yourself from letting your emotions flow.
Y/N: O-Ok Grandpa...
Gerson smiled slightly at that.
After a bit, Y/N started to fell asleep and looked at Gerson.
Y/N: I am getting sleepy, Grandpa...
Gerson let out a small chuckle
Gerson: I noticed, Sonny.
Y/N: You can... leave me alone if you wan-
Gerson: That would be foolish of me, wouldn't it?
Y/N blinked and felt like the weight he had been carrying had... disappeared like magic...
Then it was a comfortable silence, both of them were calm, and Y/N was more at ease with his mind thanks to Gerson, and with that Gerson kissed Y/N's forehead and layed down on the bed.
Y/N: Good night, Grandpa... I love you a lot...
Gerson: Me too, Sonny... me too...
With that Y/N fell asleep and Gerson stayed and after a while he himself fell asleep as well, and that horrible day for Y/N had gone from bad to the best memories he will ever have.
