Chapter Text
The clock's hand pointed at 5:48 am. Shedletsky stared blankly at his computer screen that was on full max brightness and wasn't on any applications, he was honestly just using the bright light to try and stay awake considering he hadn't slept properly since yesterday. How could he sleep? His mind was filled with both anxiety and fear, made it nearly impossible to even close his eyes.
Yesterday Builderman AND the illumina sword had been taken by some mysterious figure. A person with a dominus not even Shedletsky had ever seen before, probably hadn't even been released yet! however that obviously wasn't important! The important thing was that Builderman and a very powerful sword were taken!
"I can't keep just waiting." He was mostly talking to himself considering no one else was in his office at that hour, he spun his chair around and began to look around trying to look at anything to keep his mind off of Builderman.
There was pictures of SFOTH, his wife Brighteyes…a picture of him and Builderman. Okay maybe looking around his office wasn't a great idea. He let out a loud groan as he dramatically threw his head back into his office chair. "Seriously, waiting isn't doing anything! I need to do something before i lose my mind!"
Abruptly he stood up from his chair and began to pace around his office, nearly bumping his shoulder against the bookshelf he kept in his office. "No one but the admins know about this whole mess! Not like i can tell anyone what is going on!"
That sentence made him pause, maybe telling the authorities could help? He shook his head at the thought. What could the authorities do realistically? If he or the other admins told them anything then the mysterious figure would just find a better place to hide.
He groaned to himself in frustration, none of the ideas in his head would work at all and he was starting to run out of ideas of what to do. Finally Shedletsky looked at the clock again..it was already 6:15 AM? Did time really past that fast just by thinking?
Maybe if he did some more thinking he could figure out something. Looking around Shedletsky knew his office wouldn't be a great place to think..to many things to remind him of the mess the world of robloxia was currently in the longer Builderman was gone for.
With that he finally cleaned himself up and left the office for some fresh air. The moment he left the HQ he felt a wave of relaxation hit him at the smell of the wind and grass. This was a great idea.
He paced outside the HQ for a couple of minutes trying to let his thoughts consume him however that proved to be a terrible idea, not the idea of thinking..no that was good. But being completely distracted by his thoughts as without warning he felt a punch to the back of his head instantly knocking him off of his feet.
Out of shock and instinct he turned his body around to see a large robloxian above him, some sort of wrestler and behind him were two children, a red little boy and a blue little girl. "Is this the right guy boss?" The little girl asked timidly, hiding behind her brother. "Yeah yeah it is, you two just stay back and let me get this over with so we can get our pay."
Noobador slammed his fists together as he began to walk towards an already down Shedletsky who unfortunately forgot to bring his sword outside with him..so he was in for a pretty rough beating.

"Is this even the right place?" Carmine muttered to herself quietly, her hand on the bushes which guided her along the path. She could feel the sun beaming down on her skin since today was a rather sunny day, usually she hated the sun since unfortunately she was born with the worst eyes possible..as in being born with being legally blind and having photophobia.
Thankfully the bandages she wrapped around her eyes kept any light from touching them, That wasn't her main focus though. Her main focus was exploring the parts of bizville she hadn't explored before. You would think after living here for a couple of years she would have known the place from the back of her hand.
However that wasn't the case, she only stayed in the parts she truly knew but this week she found herself with a lot of free time so why not use that free time to explore her surroundings a bit more? It's what her dad would have wanted.
If she were being honestly she didn't really know where she was. From what she could hear from her surroundings she was on some sort of pathway, and the other sounds she could pick up were some birds chirping and..
"AH!" The scream startled her to a stop in her movement. From the sounds of it someone was in a lot of pain and there were also the sounds of what sounded like a fight, instinctively her first idea was to run away however before she could..curiosity killed the cat. So she decided to check it out.
Cautiously moving again, she found herself close to Noobador with Red & Blue. The trio stood over a beaten up Shedletsky who held himself in a fetal position. "I won't say it again pal, stay down or it's only gonna get worse." His deep voice rumbled quietly in an aggressive tone that made both Carmine (who they hadn't noticed yet) and Shedletsky shiver a bit in fear.
Noobador turned to his niece and nephew with a stern look on his face, his arms crossed against his bare chest. "Listen you two and listen good, I need you both to keep an eye on this chump." He gestured towards Shedletsky who he had just beaten up. "Make sure he stays where he is while i go collect our pay. Understood?"
"Yes boss!" Both Red and Blue agreed at the same time. He smiled a bit and patted them both on the head affectionately before he jumped over the rocks behind Shedletsky.
He tried to sit up from the ground after being beaten up by Noobador, his limps ached in horrible pain only to be kicked back down by Red who was rather strong for a twelve year old boy. "Jeez red..you really let him have it." Blue muttered timidly, shooting Shedletsky a sympathetic look.
Red laughed and completely failed to realize Carmine standing there in horror at what she had just heard. "Uhm…what?" Her voice startled Red and Blue who both quickly whipped around to see the blind girl standing there, she looked around their age.
"Yo chump! Who do you think you are???" Carmine grew a bit annoyed at what Red had just called her, she stepped forward and tried to put up a brave face. "My name is Carmine! Not chump! And i just heard you beat someone up you..jerks!"
"Hey hey! We didn't beat him up! Our uncle did!" Red tried to defend himself and his sister however Carmine wasn't really having it. "Well that's still wrong! Now leave him alone!"
She stepped forward so she was directly in front of Red and Blue, She was a bit taller than them due to being eight months before them, however the noob twins weren't ready to go down without a fight. "Well you're just in luck!" Blue started.
"Cause we're red and blue!" "And well crush you!"
They pulled out their swords and charged towards Carmine. Even if she couldn't see their swords she had heard them pull them out and now was admittedly a bit nervous..because she didn't have any weapon, just her hands however she knew she had to fight and there was no going back down.
Red slashed his sword at her that she was able to dodge, quickly she realized while they had swords..the sounds of slashing made them a bit predictable. She stood there and waited for another sound cue..this time Blue slashed her sword and got Carmine in the face.
She winced at the stinging pain of the wound before hearing the boy try to hit her too, realizing she couldn't just wait for sound cues anymore and needed to attack she acted fast. Taking off her satchel she smacked Red in the face and used the advantage of him being startled by the sudden move to snatch his sword and point it in what she assumed was his direction..which was actually a wall.
Red and Blue without warning paused seeing Carmine point the sword at the wall..the two shared a confused glance at what she was doing. "Uh..we're over here?" Blue called out which made the girl turn her body towards them "I..i uh..knew that!"
"Pfft- Clearly not. What are you blind or something?" He teased quietly not expecting what Carmine's answer would be. "Actually..yeah i am." That caused the twins to stop fighting, shooting each other a panicked look at the realization. "Wait..we were fighting a blind person!?"
Blue sounded horrified upon the revelation, seeming pretty guilty for trying to hurt a disabled girl around their age. Carmine held her hands up in a nervous gesture trying to ease. "Hey hey it's okay! I can still fight-" She didn't even get to finish her sentence before Red snatched his sword back. The twins seemed a bit scared now knowing that Carmine was blind yet still managed to fight them without much injury (Well besides the cut on her cheek)
Before she could say anything else the noob twins had dashed off leaving her alone with Shedletsky who was still on the ground. "That was…anti-climatic." She muttered to herself. For a moment it was quiet until the admin groaned in pain reminding Carmine there was an injured guy on the ground.
"Oh crap! Are you okay sir???" The child was instantly knelt down besides Shedletsky, a hand on his shoulder who chuckled weakly. "Ugh..so those two have no issue being mean to an admin but d-draw the line at a disabled person? Figures.."
He coughed quietly, clearly in pain as he muttered weakly to Carmine. "I don't..think i can get up..it was an ambush.." He explained through fighting back the tears that threaten to fall from his eyes. Carmine sat there trying to figure out what to do as Shedletsky continued. "Builderman, illumina both..both gone.."
A sharp sigh escaped his throat, gripping his shirt to try and ride through the wave of pain that flowed through his body. He looked at Carmine..he knew what he was about to ask may not be a great idea, asking a kid to go and get one of the seven swords? Many would call him a fool and maybe he was being one. But he was desperate plus he just saw her scare off Red and Blue. So maybe she had what was needed.
"Roadtown..please get to roadtown…the ice dagger..the swords." He looked at Carmine weakly. "They're our only hope to stop the illumina." Carmine stared down at Shedletsky's direction, confused for a moment until she realized what he was asking.
He was asking her, a disabled twelve year old girl to go get the ice dagger??? She didn't even know where Roadtown was! She could only just freeze up. "Uhm..sir i know you're..in pain but..i don't even know where Roadtown was..i don't even know yo-"
She cut herself off before she could finish her sentence, she could hear how desperate Shedletsky was even if they didn't even know each other's names. With a wave of hesitation she let out a soft sigh before standing up. "Alright..I'll go..but shouldn't i find you help first?"
"No just..go..go!" He urged her to leave now. Carmine was hesitant to leave considering Shedletsky was injured however she listened and left his side.
Carmine didn't understand how a simple walk could lead to her being sent to go get the ice dagger..she was confused. Once she was walking away from the HQ she paused in her footsteps in realization. "..I don't even know HOW to get to roadtown.."
anyway this is what Carmine looks like. Decided to give her an orginal outfit however kept the jacket a lot of other player designs give them
