December Holiday is not scared of the dark.
We all know this, that's why we don't mention the night light in her room,
She doesn't need it, "It's there just in case," she'd say,
Because we all know December Holiday is not scared of the dark.
December Holiday does not jump at shadows.
She's just always keeping watch for the Knight,
"We can't risk it making it's way back," she'd say,
And we trust her because December Holiday does not jump at shadows.
December Holiday doesn't struggle with being alone.
She just wants to spend time with us,
"I've gotta make up for the 4 years I was missing," she'd assure us,
And we accept that December Holiday doesn't struggle with being alone.
December Holiday didn't scream when her night light went out.
It just took her by surprise,
I didn't have to light up my soul, hold her close and tell her everything was okay,
Because December Holiday didn't scream when her night light went out.
December Holiday is never vulnerable.
But if she was,
She'd be as strong as ever.
Because if December Holiday was vulnerable.
We'd love her no less.
