Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Santos saw Langdon standing there pathetically drenched from the rain while waiting for the bus. Unfortunately for her, she had a thing for pathetic men, and enjoyed teasing Langdon whenever she got the chance.

She pulled her motorcycle up next to him standing at the bus stop.

"You couldnt even remember an umbrella today? Its been raining nonstop this whole week?"

Langdon had the nerve to somehow look even more like a kicked puppy. "Fuck you Santos, sorry we're not all perfect like you."

"Hop on" Santos regretted those words as soon as they left her mouth, but one thing she was not going to do was admit she didn't mean to say them.

Langdon looked at her skeptically, "Why the fuck would I get on a donor bike with a psycho who hates me?"

"Uh, because it beats looking like a drenched cat in the rain? Do you want a ride or not?"

The rain started picking up even more, along with thunder and wind.

"Fine, but if you get me killed, I'm haunting you."

"How are you going to haunt me if we're both killed?"

"I'll make sure to constantly annoy you in the afterlife."

Langdon reluctantly got on behind Santos. He hesitated about where to put his hands, not wanting to get closer than necessary.

"Im not going to bite, its not even possible with you behind me." Trinity said as she grabbed Langdons hands and moved them to her hips.

She realized in that moment how much potential she had to fuck with Langdon, and was not going to waste the opportunity.

"Hold on" she laughed as she put the bike in gear and sped off.

The streets were empty in the dawn morning light, the city waiting to wake up and fill the streets, but for now it was just them on the road.

This was Trinitys favorite part of the day, and one of the deciding factors in her choosing to work the night shift.

"Hey, slow down, where are you taking me?"

"On an adventure, didn't you use to be an adrenaline junky? Where did that version of Langdon go? You used to be fun?"

"That kind of thing is discouraged during rehab, we're supposed to find peace in the mundane or something."

Langdon couldnt help but enjoy speeding through the city with Santos. For the first time since he got sober, his mind finally felt quiet and at peace. He hated that it was Santos to finally offer him the relief he'd been craving, but he couldnt help but feel grateful. He wasn't sure he'd ever feel this good without the drugs.

Trinity forgot how much she missed having someone on the back of her bike with her. It'd been so long she forgot how much she loved having someone be in tune with the movement of her and the bike combined. Langdon was surprisingly good at being a passenger on the bike, he knew how to go with the flow and move with her. It felt as though they were all one unit, her, Langdon, and the bike. No longer separate entities, but all one, moving with the same rhythm they were indistinguishable.

She was enjoying the feeling so much she didn't want it to end.

She realized she could finally have someone else to bring with her to the meetings she had with her bikers gang.

She figured Langdon could use the community too. Plus it'd been a while since she had a partner, and the way Langdon felt straddling behind her, she knew they could get along perfectly.

"Hey, youre off for the rest of the week right? Got any plans?"

"Other than staying at home trying not to think about how bad I fucked up my life and dont know how to live alone anymore? Not really no."

"Jesus your life is depressing."

"Yeah, thats what happens when your addiction ruins your life."

"Alright, well I was going to head to a meetup with some other bikers before I picked you up, would you want to come? Think you'd like them."

"You sure this isnt some secret ploy to kill me?"

"Nah, I could've done that ages ago if I wanted to. Still can if you fuck me over again. I think this could be a good time, for both of us. They're always nagging on me for never bringing anyone. And you sound lonely as fuck."

"Wow, as kind as you are, I can't imagine why you're alone. Alright, I'm down, I don't have anything on me though."

"Don't worry, there will be clothing provided for you, you'll have a great time."
