Asphodel

Summary:

Where do you put a teenager with a quirk so powerful that it is too dangerous to train? The Hero Commission had deemed the prison Tartarus too extreme in the case of Persephone, an orphan with the quirk Siren. After an incident involving 27 deaths and 12 critically wounded, the flower-loving teen was captured by Endeavor, forcefully gagged, and tossed in a soundproof room until the contruction of Asphodel was complete.

4 years later, the Commission decided to unleash Persephone upon the hero school U.A. so they could use Asphodel as a detention center for powerful children that they wanted to train-- children with a chance of quirk rehabilitation. Under the watchful eye of Shouta Aizawa, Persephone must navigate high school without the use of her voice.

Chapter Text

An armored detail of elite soldiers surrounded the most recent mass-murder scene to date. Bodies littered the ground, dirt stained red with the blood of men and women. All the eyes of the dead were focused on a central figure whom had been knocked out for public safety... too bad that had done nothing to save the victims of her quirk. A small girl, on the day of her 13th bithday, had lost any semblance of control she may have had. Endeavor had come to the rescue and easily knocked her out but then had to deal with the living victims who were still trying to attack the others. Every one of them were babbling about proving themselves to her, protecting her, keeping her for themselves. It took 36 hours of medical isolation and maximum sedation to break the spell the quirk had cast.

The police had done a thorough investigation on the girl-- no parents were found, no previous reports about a girl with wavy mahogany hair and violet-blue eyes, even her blood was a mystery. Whatever had happened that day, her hormones were in overdrive. Everything about her had, in theory, become a natural aphrodesiac and somehow had blocked out any identifying information including her fingerprints.

The Hero Commission had taken over at that point, sweeping the unknown female to their headquarters and containing her in a soundproof room. They also kept her in a medicated coma until they could figure out where to put her. Tartarus was out of the question. She was dangerous but she would not survive in the high-security prison for the quirked. They would have to build a location for quirked children who were too powerful for the common good-- Asphodel. Hopefully they could find a way to gain control, to be able use the girl in the future. Rehabilitation into society under the Commission's terms.

And they named her Persephone.
