"And then I threw the bread at the baby turtleducks, and the mother wasn’t very happy about it—she started biting me." Zuko explained with a stern look, rubbing his arm where the mother turtleduck kept pecking at him. Though his expression was strong, the tears welling up in his eyes told Ty Lee everything she needed to know about how he was actually feeling about it.
She giggles. "You silly! That's why you don't throw it at them!" She flicks his temple playfully. Zuko pouts, muttering something grumpily.
The two of them paused as a string of "ooohs!" came from the right. Ty Lee was the first to turn her head, meanwhile Zuko easily guessed it was probably Azula telling her stupid lame stories again. He kicked a rock, pouting deeply.
"Who's that boy?" Ty Lee gasped. Zuko furrowed his brows. "Boy?" It was enough to get his attention. He glanced over at the small crowd that formed below a rock, which was being used as a chair for a child that sat on top of it.
"He's so handsome!" The braided girl practically had hearts in her eyes. It took Zuko for a moment to realize who it was; he deadpanned and shoved Ty Lee lightly. "That's my sister, you idiot!"
Ty Lee's jaw dropped. "That's Princess Azula?!" She covered her mouth with one hand. "But she's so handsome!" She squealed, hands hovering near her face like she didn’t know what to do with them. "No way!" Ty Lee said almost dreamily. Zuko glares at her with annoyance.
"Uh huh..." He nods slowly, crossing his arms.
This was going to be a future problem, huh?
